Few people ate starfish. They were hardly a popular food.
But these mutated starfish seemed to smell several times better than the originals!
Chen Xiaofei picked up a starfish Bai Shu had blasted black, flipped it over, and pried open one of its arms with a crowbar, revealing the golden flesh inside.
In videos he had watched before, the flesh had been a dark, brownish green. After mutating, it looked much more appetizing, like a huge lump of crab roe.
Chen Xiaofei didn't eat it. There were so many fresh ones that he didn't need the charred ones. "Weird. They eat houses and still put on flesh. These mutated starfish are freaks."
The temperature outside was indeed low, but they were bundled up enough that it didn't hamper their movements.

After clearing the starfish off one large building, she moved on to the next. Funny enough, Xu Duoduo burned through energy very quickly when using other abilities, but storing things barely consumed any at all. She really was perfect for stockpiling.
Chen Xiaofei followed her, having so much fun stockpiling that he forgot everything else. "This is so satisfying! Little Class Monitor, hurry, hurry! There's a gigantic prawn over there! Aaaaah!"
Xu Duoduo spotted the prawn that had hopped up, pinned it down with an enormous shovel, and immediately put it into her space.
