Power Progression
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Rubik’s Cube Space awakening | 1 2 | A many-faced cube appears in her consciousness. Experimentation establishes that she can store and retrieve objects and hold water without containers. |
| Zombification | 4 | Recognizes her transformation on the tenth day of the apocalypse. Initially suffers slowed thought, stiff movement, and incoherent speech; later regains some flexibility and discovers she can survive without eating. |
| Mutant Monkey King core enhancement | 14 16 17 18 | Eats the lowest-grade core given to her by Qin Luo. Becomes more nimble and regains daytime control of her body; subsequent testing measures agility at 1.5 times an ordinary person’s. |
| Spatial freezing and compression | 30 33 | Instinctively unlocks an offensive spatial application and destroys a three-star mutant snake-man. Her teammates suspect the ensuing confusion and apparent mental regression are backlash. No tier is assigned to her at this point. |
| First-Order Speed Mutated Person classification | 54 | Xiao Qiao measures her speed at 3.0 times the baseline. Qin Luo has this classification entered into her profile to conceal her spatial ability. |
| First white-haired episode | 55 62 | Her hair turns white after she loses consciousness. Da Qiao finds no serious problem; the color subsequently changes again. |
| Six-color Rubik’s Cube Space upgrade | 96 | Reveals six color-coded faces with Strangulation, a domain, water, planting, and two Time Stasis storage spaces. |
| Tier two assessment | 111 | Speed remains 3.0 times the baseline, but increased stored energy barely qualifies her as tier two. The assessment does not encompass the full range of her spatial functions. |
| Repeatable Spatial Strangulation | 122 | Uses the technique twelve times against mutated hyenas, consuming more than half her mutant ability energy. Smaller targets are reduced to bloody mist. |
| Silver-clawed hand transformation | 129 | Discovers that she can turn her hands into knife-sharp silver claws and revert them instantly. |
| Tier three combat assessment | 195 | The Research Institute’s central facility rates her combat strength as tier three using physical measurements. Her teammates privately estimate her spatial ability at least at late tier four, possibly higher. |
| Spatial Domain suppression | 231 232 | Develops control over real-world space within a hundred square meters. Easily suppresses lower-level mutant creatures, but has limited effect against Qin Luo, a tier-five ability user. |
| Near-normal cognitive recovery | 244 | Xiao Qiao finds her intelligence comparable to an ordinary person’s, although comprehension remains somewhat weak and complete recovery is still pending. |
| Seventh-tier spatial ability | 272 274 371 | Her spatial ability is recognized as seventh tier. Shields become easy and inexpensive to produce, and established offensive techniques grow stronger. She knows the classification does not accurately capture her space’s full power. |
| Power beyond the seventh-tier estimate | 425 | Her actual strength exceeds the rough seventh-tier rating. Sustained fighting still drains her reserves and reduces her domain’s area. |
| Teleportation | 430 | Teleports repeatedly within her domain while killing a toad fusion monster; the battle is broadcast across the major bases. |
| Ninth-tier breakthrough | 464 467 470 471 | Following a ten-day battle, her Rubik’s Cube Space expands and becomes freely shapeable. Her shield can protect tens of thousands, and her domain can envelop an entire base. |
| Expanded perception / suspected Omniscient Sense | 488 502 | Can sense objects within a hundred-mile radius. Professor Ji identifies her apparent auditory hallucinations as very likely an awakening of Omniscient Sense. |
| Approaching level ten | 506 | Continuous monster hunting brings her closer to another breakthrough as she waits for an unknown date. |
| Tenth-level breakthrough / God-Level | 512 533 | Breaks through the tenth level and reaches God-Level. Her spatial ability is credited with covering Earth and giving it new life as land, rain, plants, and ordinary insects recover. |
| Full mental clarity restored | 513 515 | Awakens after losing consciousness, with her memories and clear thinking restored. Initially conceals the recovery out of embarrassment. |
| Post-merger three-color Rubik’s Cube Space | 516 | After the space merges with Earth, its visible form has orange, yellow, and white sections. Her previous supplies remain, Spatial Domain and stronger Spatial Strangulation persist, and Remote Retrieval can reach distant locations around Earth. |
Background / History
Xu Duoduo was adopted by loving grandparents. Her middle-school years were her happiest and most carefree: she became class monitor, was well liked, and sat beside Qin Luo, a troublesome transfer student whose homework she tried to keep under control 5 14 50.
Her grandparents found her with no belongings, bedding, identifying note, or birth information. They named her “Duoduo” as a blessing that she would thereafter have plenty of good fortune and love. Despite childhood teasing about the name, she always valued it and considered herself fortunate to have been named by them 191.
Her grandfather fell ill after she entered high school. She helped her grandmother care for him while continuing her studies; after his death, her grandmother also became ill. With the family’s savings exhausted, Xu Duoduo worked part-time during university, but eventually lost her grandmother as well. Redevelopment forced her out of their old home, and she moved to K City shortly before the apocalypse 50.
Naturally quiet and reluctant to trouble others, she contacted her classmates less often as her grandparents’ health deteriorated, eventually drifting apart from them. She rarely played games and only began occasionally reading novels after her college entrance examinations; discovering the internet’s appeal eventually contributed to her choice of employment 244 286.
At twenty-two, she worked as an internet-company intern with routine overtime. An earlier epidemic and residential lockdown had strengthened her survivalist habits: she maintained a storeroom of long-life food, water, medicine, fuel, and defensive equipment before the outbreak began 1 2.
After recovering her clarity, she searches for her other pre-apocalypse friends, but finds that none of them are still alive. This loss makes her treasure her surviving friendships even more 522.
Appearance
- Build: At 1.63 m, she is noticeably shorter than every other member of the 3A team. Her height remains unchanged later 20 155.
- Hair and face: Initially has black hair, a snow-white face, wide eyes, and a small, pert nose. Her hair first turns white after an unconscious episode and later alternates between black and white; prolonged missions and frequent ability use keep it white for extended periods 32 33 55 62 132 158.
- Eyes: Naturally cloudy gray after zombification; initially conceals them with amber contact lenses. After her early white-haired episode, a faint silver sheen remains in her eyes, and she stops routinely wearing colored contacts. She later uses black lenses and black hair as part of a low-profile disguise 11 62 411.
- Teeth: Develops small fangs after the mutant snake-man battle 33.
- Hands: Can transform her human hands into sharp silver claws and switch back instantly 129.
- Zombie traits: Ice-cold to the touch, but neither rotting nor foul-smelling. Her lips remain relatively pale at her wedding 5 11 520.
- Clothing: Initially wears pink bunny pajamas; later receives size-165 combat uniforms. Also wears Lolita-style dresses, including a red dress and lace headband, and a schoolgirl-style dress for disguise 16 18 62 411 425.
- Wedding attire: Wears Lin Qianxing’s vintage-style cream satin wedding dress, with irregular layered skirts, diamond chips, matching lace gloves, and a formal hat 520.
Personality
Stockpiling gives Xu Duoduo a sense of security. Even after becoming unable to enjoy ordinary food, she continues collecting supplies simply because she likes having them. Her enthusiasm extends beyond necessities to vehicles, jewelry, and unopened delivery packages, sometimes prompting Qin Luo to remind her of the team’s priorities 15 23 26 27.
She is frightened easily but willing to fight when cornered. During the outbreak, she stands ready to use a chainsaw if intruders breach her door; during the monkey attack, her legs tremble while her grip remains steady. She later rushes toward the mutant snake-man when Qin Luo is trapped 4 13 30.
Despite her transformation, she still identifies with humans and does not want to hurt them. She accepts the team’s initial caution as reasonable and would rather be killed than become a mindless, man-eating corpse. She prefers gathering supplies, fighting, and rescuing survivors to remaining at the research center, which makes her fear dissection 14 17 19.
She dislikes being treated as a helpless child and becomes self-conscious when strangers stare at her monitoring collar. Beneath her slow reactions, she remains opinionated, easily embarrassed, and fond of gossip and comfortable surroundings 25 26 39 46 49.
Her attachment to the team develops into a deliberate commitment to fight beside them rather than accept a protected but closely monitored logistics role. She grows to enjoy missions and combat, although she continues to obey the captain’s battlefield orders even when she would prefer to pursue fleeing monsters for their cores 195 372 421 446.
She loves fluffy things, especially Qin Luo’s wolf ears and tail; soft blankets serve as substitutes when she cannot pet him. During her mentally clouded period, she expresses affection with unusual directness, openly asking for cuddles and telling him that she simply wants to be close to him 73 151 197 280.
As her memories return, she worries that her former reserved, rule-following adult self will be dull and less lovable. She is also troubled by the possibility that even her space cannot save everyone, and Qin Luo reassures her that she need not be all-powerful 395 413 506.
After full recovery, her usual personality is described as outwardly cool but inwardly warm. She prefers calm, orderly responses, while privately imagining things and making sarcastic remarks. She retains her love for Qin Luo but becomes deeply embarrassed by memories of her earlier boldness 513 516 524.
She dislikes warfare between humans, particularly inhumane weapons, and supports confiscating an enemy’s arsenal rather than letting humanity destroy itself while Earth is already deteriorating. In the interstellar era, she restrains her intervention in worldly affairs in accordance with her predecessor’s wishes, recognizing that she is not a true god and that the world has its own laws 482 491 523.
Abilities & Skills
Rubik’s Cube Space
A storage space manifested as a many-faced cube within her sea of consciousness 2.
- Each face initially contains approximately 200 cubic meters of space; she cannot count all its faces 2.
- She can store and retrieve goods at will, and senses that access belongs to her alone 2.
- Liquids can be stored without containers; she uses separate compartments for water and gasoline 2 23.
- Its demonstrated capacity includes entire vehicles, three warehouses of canned goods, and approximately 240,000 tons of grain from thirty-two granaries 9 26 27 42.
- She retrieves piping-hot congee prepared before joining the squad 3 11.
- The research center’s equipment initially fails to detect the ability. Her team keeps it secret to protect her freedom; Headquarters later learns of it following the Research Institute battle, and her offensive spatial ability becomes publicly known 16 19 257 272 430.
- Its chapter-96 upgrade reveals six color-coded faces, providing Strangulation, a domain, water, planting, and two storage spaces with Time Stasis 96.
- Ordinary storage consumes very little mutant ability energy. Exceptionally large sea creatures nevertheless strain the space during the seafood mission 111.
- Plants bear fruit and mutated seafood grows inside the space without requiring her constant care. She later describes its water supply as inexhaustible, and water supplied through a Space Card passes the soldiers’ drinking-water tests 195 452.
- At ninth tier, the cube contains more cells and can assume different shapes, including square, diamond, cylindrical, and hourglass forms. Its cell boundaries blur, and same-colored blocks can connect and merge; different-colored blocks cannot 470 471.
- Following its merger with Earth, three functions are gone and the visible cube becomes a three-colored diamond. The orange and yellow sections retain her previous supplies, while the white section appears empty; she still possesses her Spatial Domain 516.
Spatial Freezing and Compression
An offensive application first manifested when the mutant snake-man attempts to swallow her 30.
- Words appear in her consciousness; silently repeating them freezes and compresses the surrounding space, causing the monster to explode 30.
- The victim is identified as a three-star mutated monster 33.
- Her teammates suspect severe backlash afterward and initially discourage unnecessary use 33 39.
- Later called Spatial Strangulation, the technique becomes repeatable. Against mutated hyenas, twelve uses consume more than half her reserves, and smaller creatures disintegrate into bloody mist rather than leaving large remains 122.
- At seventh tier, she instantly destroys four Four-Star Lizard People with it while supporting the Cheetah and White Dove squads 276.
- Can lock onto an area and simultaneously destroy multiple three- and four-star mutant zombies 416.
- During the final world-ending battle, a thought or glance is enough to make monsters vanish into bloody mist 508.
- After the merger with Earth, a demonstration pulverizes an apple into specks of white light, indicating a further increase in destructive power 516.
Spatial Domain, Barriers, and Teleportation
Her spatial power develops from storage and compression into control over real-world territory, protection, and movement 231 232 430.
- Suppression: The white side of the cube develops a skill that restricts the strength and movement of living beings inside her domain. Its early demonstrated area is a hundred square meters 231 232.
- Early limitations: She cannot freely do anything she wishes within the domain. Suppression is insufficient to restrain tier-five Qin Luo, but easily slows one- and two-star mutant sheep; her tests indicate much greater effectiveness against creatures below level five 231 232.
- Spatial Protective Shield: Creates barriers that block blood spray and protect people or vehicles. At seventh tier, raising a shield becomes nearly instantaneous and consumes little energy 222 274 417.
- Sound control: Uses her domain to mute the chainsaw for stealth, retaining the option to amplify its noise for intimidation 246.
- Lightning containment: Contains Qin Luo’s Thunderstorm power and the natural lightning he absorbs, preventing its bombardment from escaping her domain 350.
- Territorial control: Can progressively shrink her controlled territory floor by floor while coordinating the pursuit of Fang Ming 421.
- Exhaustion: Sustained fighting can diminish her domain; after more than a dozen hours of combat, its area falls to fifty square meters. Opening it also consumes a significant portion of her remaining energy when she is already exhausted 425 460.
- Teleportation: Disappears and reappears within her domain to evade and repeatedly slash a toad fusion monster 430.
- Ninth-tier scale: Her shield’s protective capacity rises from a few dozen people to tens of thousands, and her domain can easily envelop an entire base 471.
- Selective concealment and access: During the arsenal raid, she configures her domain so teammates can see and access her while other people cannot 488.
- Projectile redirection: Stops incoming metal bombs in midair and sends them back at their attackers with precision 491.
- Forced displacement: Sweeps surrounding monsters into deep fissures with her spatial power 496.
Remote Retrieval and Perception
- Remote Retrieval: Can collect objects without approaching or touching them. By the second zombie encirclement operation, she has mastered collecting scattered mutant cores with a thought 232 403.
- Heightened senses: Ninth-tier advancement sharpens all five senses. When concentrating, she can hear distant conversations and perceive scenes elsewhere 471 502.
- Hundred-mile sensing: Detects objects within a hundred-mile radius and empties an underground arsenal from a suitable position on the surface, retrieving weapons, ammunition, fighter jets, raw materials, and mutant cores without entering it 488.
- Omniscient Sense: Professor Ji considers her apparent auditory hallucinations very likely to be an awakening of this sense. Researchers also investigate her growing sensitivity to others’ emotions 502.
- Emotional reception: During the final battle, the fear, grief, and unwillingness to part of other combatants engulf her, leaving her crying as though she were receiving everyone’s pain 508.
- Post-merger reach: Retrieves a flower from downstairs without touching it and states that she can similarly retrieve animals, seafood, and objects from distant cities or overseas. Qin Luo interprets this as Earth effectively becoming her backyard 516.
Zombie Physiology
Her mutation removes several ordinary bodily needs while leaving her awareness intact 4 16 21.
- Has no heartbeat or pulse; examinations find no brain atrophy and no other organ abnormalities. The absence of a heartbeat persists late in the story 5 16 413.
- Initially does not need food or water, produces no tears, and does not need bathroom breaks. Later chapters show her eating, drinking, and producing tears, including continuous crying during the final battle 4 21 129 310 508 520.
- Ordinary food initially has almost no flavor to her. Her ability to enjoy food later improves: she finds cookies tasty, favors mint candy, and enjoys Qin Luo’s milk-and-taro dish 4 21 129 498 520.
- Has tough skin and can remain crouched for extended periods without aching legs 16 18.
- Initially moves more freely at night; the Monkey King’s core restores daytime mobility 12 18.
- Develops exceptional speed and jumping ability. Professor Ji finds her night vision relatively poor and her climbing and bite force only average, recommending that she focus on her stronger traits 183.
- Can turn her hands into silver claws as sharp as knives and revert immediately 129.
- Displays unusual endurance and apparent insensitivity to pain, continuing to attack the Mutant Beauty Tree after a branch pierces her shoulder and a vine throws her aside 137.
- Remains cold-bodied and is vulnerable to extreme environmental cold; an extended invisible excursion leaves her dangerously chilled 181 227.
- Researchers speculate that she may be capable of living indefinitely without aging; this remains an assessment, not a demonstrated outcome 16.
Mutant Core Consumption
Unlike ordinary people and ability users, she can eat undiluted mutant cores directly 18.
- The Monkey King’s core tastes crunchy, refreshing, and lightly sweet, and keeps her substantially full into the following day 17.
- Different cores have distinct appetizing scents, including grass and cumin-spiced grilled meat 18.
- Core consumption improves her bodily control and mobility 17 18.
- Professor Ji later supplies her with a case of strawberry-flavored diluted mutant core solution 47.
- Her teammates routinely give her cores collected in battle and permit her to eat any of the team’s cores that benefit her 96 204.
- She suspects that exhausting her mutant ability and entering a white-haired phase expands her energy capacity, after which mutant cores replenish it. This is her interpretation rather than a formally established mechanism 195.
- She later recognizes near-death exertion as an opportunity to break through her limits, but acknowledges the danger. Headquarters does not advocate this method 272.
Combat and Survival Skills
- Improvised ranged attacks: Throws canned goods with striking accuracy during the monkey attack; one throw bursts a monkey’s head 13.
- Chainsaw combat: Kills the mutated monkeys that corner her in a dead-end fire escape 13.
- Improvised fire attack: Uses insecticide and a lighter to burn a low-level mutant frog off the team’s vehicle 22.
- Threat detection: Experiences an intense internal danger warning before spotting the approaching snake-man and alerting her teammates 28.
- Cooking: Prepares large quantities of meals before the utilities fail; her teammates particularly praise her shredded pork and braised chicken. Later continues bulk meal preparation, including cold noodles, seasoned seafood, and salad 3 19 396.
- Communication: Initially uses gestures, typed tablet messages, and a wooden whistle because normal speech remains impaired. Professor Ji finds no physical cause and considers the difficulty probably psychological. She later regains spoken words and increasingly fluent conversation 16 23 49 64 96 106 195.
- Large-target tactics: Habitually attacks a large enemy’s legs to prevent escape or bring it down. Uses this method against a giant zombie and later kills a mutant giraffe without assistance 71 222.
- Combat Arts: Learns from all four teammates, adopting Qin Luo’s hand-to-hand techniques, Wang Weihu’s boxing, Bai Shu’s marksmanship, and Chen Xiaofei’s stealth 183 246 304.
- Observation and adaptation: Watches teammates’ fighting methods and applies them rapidly. Recognizes the Lizard People’s sensitivity to bright light and warns her companions 246.
- Firearms: Can withstand the recoil of Headquarters’ new guns and achieves at least ninety-percent accuracy, although she cannot match her teammates’ consistent headshots 425.
- Improvised sword use: Wields a Tang Dao with brute force rather than trained swordsmanship while combining attacks with teleportation 430.
- Battle review: Adopts the team’s habit of analyzing combat afterward, reviewing excessive energy use, slow reactions, and inefficient execution in livestream footage 435.
- Muscle memory: After prolonged battlefield experience, her chainsaw attacks become reflexive enough to cut three- and four-star monsters apart before she consciously registers them 369.
God-Level Restoration
Her tenth-level breakthrough produces effects far beyond ordinary combat or storage 512.
- Revival begins in the Flower Nation: fragmented land fuses, rain falls, plants grow rapidly and anchor the soil, monsters become nutrients, and ordinary insects return to life 512.
- Later accounts credit her God-Level spatial ability with covering Earth and giving the planet new life 533.
- The Rubik’s Cube Space merges with Earth, leaving her with a changed three-color manifestation and retained spatial combat and domain abilities 516.
- Despite the God-Level classification, she does not regard herself as a true god. Her predecessor’s inherited wishes guide her to respect the world’s natural laws and avoid excessive deliberate interference 523.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Chainsaw, battle-axe, and dagger — Part of her pre-apocalypse survival supplies; the chainsaw becomes her demonstrated melee weapon 2 13.
- Upgraded pink chainsaw — Chooses the chainsaw for her individual weapon-upgrade voucher. The Artisan Department gives it twin toothed wheels, maximum power output, and a power stone said to last eighty to a hundred years, plus two spare stones. It can cut iron with ease 56 62.
- Chainsaw damage — Prolonged fighting eventually curls its blade edges and causes it to fail, forcing her to store it and switch weapons. Later chapters again show her fighting with a chainsaw 425 430 496.
- Survivalist backpack and home generator — Prepared before the outbreak alongside gasoline and medical supplies 2.
- Monitoring collar — Displays green for emotional stability, orange for fluctuation, and red for loss of control. Xu Duoduo suspects it can deliver an electric shock, but this function is not confirmed. The collar is gone after the Research Institute battle, and Headquarters subsequently grants her permission to remain without it 15 251 257.
- Amber contact lenses — Initially conceal her cloudy zombie eyes from other survivors. She later stops routinely using colored lenses, but wears black contacts during a disguise 11 62 411.
- Wristband — Functions as identification, payment device, messaging interface, and access key. Her original ID number, 13444, is changed to 13613 at Qin Luo’s insistence 16 17 18 19.
- Standard-issue tablet — Used for typed conversations, photographs, and the base forum 17 49.
- Short-range headset — Given by Wang Weihu; supports communication within ten kilometers 19.
- Wooden whistle — Used to signal danger, request help, or acknowledge instructions. She later distributes brightly colored whistles to other squads when communication alternatives are needed 23 28 32 39 132.
- Protective charm — Given to her by Mu Enya before they part ways 38.
- Camouflage dress — Tests a green dress that uses a small amount of ability energy to blend into the surroundings and render her invisible. Its price is three hundred thousand points; the test does not establish a purchase 58.
- Later invisibility use — Uses invisibility during an excursion, remaining hidden until it expires; the passage does not identify whether the effect comes from the tested dress 227.
- Firearms and explosives — Stocks Headquarters’ new guns and uses Marble Bombs after her chainsaw breaks. Chen Xiaofei gives her pink grenades, and Bai Shu supplies revolvers 425 426.
- Tang Dao — Uses it against the toad fusion monster while teleporting 430.
- Engagement ring and marriage certificates — Treasures her ring as a token binding her to Qin Luo. They later obtain red marriage-certificate booklets 279 501 513.
- Bow hair clip — An accessory with a defense bonus of +3.0 487.
- Wedding dress — Vintage-style cream satin gown made by Lin Qianxing, accompanied by lace gloves and a formal hat 520.
Relationships
- Qin Luo — Former middle-school deskmate, rescuer, team captain, and eventual husband. She was his first love; he protects her, supplies mutant cores, and defends her against public insults. Her initial fear that he might kill her develops into trust and a strong attachment. They officially begin dating, later become engaged, register their marriage, and hold their wedding on January 1, 2031. She eventually reveals that she has liked him since their earliest acquaintance. After regaining clarity, she remains committed to him despite embarrassment over her earlier behavior 5 6 17 18 35 47 151 286 364 501 513 520.
- Chen Xiaofei — Former school acquaintance and teammate who enthusiastically praises her cooking and storage ability. They scavenge shops and open delivery packages together. He explicitly assures her that their friendship is independent of Qin Luo’s feelings and that they are friends for life; recreating a school dance with him helps recover her memories 7 11 27 38 39 335 506.
- Bai Shu — Former school acquaintance and teammate who helps conceal her spatial power. He updates her official team profile and omits the power’s details from the snake-man report. She learns marksmanship from him, follows his directions during the underground arsenal raid, and is later caught off guard when he detects her restored clarity 7 19 35 246 488 515.
- Wang Weihu — Teammate who proposes contact lenses to disguise her eyes, brings combat uniforms, and gives her a communication headset. Teaches her boxing, supplies mutant cores, and shares the team’s commitment to protecting her 11 18 19 96 246 358.
- Professor Ji — Researcher who examines her condition, investigates her speech impairment, and requests monthly blood donations. Praises her emotional stability, recommends training her speed and jumping, and later proposes Omniscient Sense as the explanation for her apparent auditory hallucinations 16 183 502.
- Da Qiao and Xiao Qiao — Researchers who invite her to remain at the institute and arrange her accommodation. Xiao Qiao later keeps her company through tablet-assisted gossip, tests her speed, and evaluates her cognitive recovery. Da Qiao diagnoses her first white-haired episode as not serious, while Xiao Qiao becomes especially fond of cuddling her white-haired form 16 49 54 55 108 244.
- Mu Enya — Grateful recipient of her food who proposes becoming sworn sisters and gives her a protective charm. They remain close friends despite infrequent meetings during missions. Mu Enya visits during her recovery, helps prepare her wedding makeup, and continues socializing with her in the interstellar era 37 38 161 261 520 522 523.
- Du Chunjiang — Friend who affectionately calls her Many Treasures. Visits and cares for the injured 3A team, carries her when backlash leaves her unable to move, helps with her wedding preparations, and remains part of her everyday social circle afterward 145 251 256 520 522 523.
- A-Ku — Young Mutated Person who admires her and asks whether she and Qin Luo can become his parents. She listens to Xiao Qiao’s account of his traumatic loss of his family; no adoption is established 183 184.
- Cao Wenzhou and the Four Continents Team — Senior comrades who welcome her as Qin Luo’s girlfriend, admire her combat development, and reassure her that Mutated People possess recognized human rights. Cao Wenzhou later coordinates combat with her 172 298 304 421.
- Fei — A pessimistic young patient whom she visits and encourages to try available chances of recovery. She treats him considerately without pressing him for answers 286 290.
- Gluttonous Beast — Ally who admires her optimism and proposes becoming sworn brother and sister, a suggestion Qin Luo rejects. Later fights alongside her and recognizes her determination to continue battling 290 425.
- Little Deer — Bereaved ally whom she encourages to keep living and comforts with a quiet embrace 352.
- Cheetah, White Dove, and Rose squads — Fellow combatants who increasingly admire her power, support her in battle, and treat her as an inspiration. Members of the Cheetah and White Dove squads repeatedly celebrate her interventions and praise her as their shared idol 276 403 426 487.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Outbreak and Rescue
An anonymous warning gives Xu Duoduo three minutes to escape before people around her become zombies. She notices Sister Liu’s deteriorating condition, leaves the office, and bicycles home to buy additional supplies. After discovering her storage space, she prints copies of the survival guide and prepares food and water while utilities still function 1 2 3.
She remains isolated as her residential complex collapses into violence, yet becomes a zombie by the tenth day without having contacted anyone. When rescue operations begin on day twenty-six, she fears execution. Qin Luo recognizes her, hides her temporarily in a wardrobe, and returns to take her with him 4 5 6.
Cannery and Entry into the 3A Team
At the cannery, her storage ability allows the squad to collect three warehouses of canned goods. She survives the mutated monkey attack with improvised weapons and a chainsaw, then receives the Monkey King’s core from Qin Luo 9 13 14.
At H City’s research center, she is classified as a zombified person with no detectable ability. She declines institute work and chooses to stay with Qin Luo’s squad. The team welcomes her with mutant cores, uniforms, and communication equipment, while agreeing to keep her storage ability secret 16 18 19.
Service Area and Snake-Man Battle
During a supply run, she empties a service area’s fuel tanks and shops, then stores vehicles—including a delivery truck full of packages 23 24 26 27.
When the mutant snake-man overwhelms her teammates, she intervenes and destroys it through spatial compression. Her confused condition afterward prompts concern about backlash. A later forum rumor falsely portrays her as the team’s mistress; Qin Luo corrects it publicly, and Bai Shu fixes her profile to display her team membership and three completed missions 30 33 35.
City C Grain Recovery and Research Follow-up
In City C, she and Chen Xiaofei gather food, medicine, clothing, and other goods while the rest of the squad clears zombies and rescues survivors. Her space subsequently holds the contents of thirty-two granaries—approximately 240,000 tons of grain—with the team agreeing to give most to the base 38 39 42.
After returning to H City, she and Qin Luo undergo ability testing before the base announces that two massive typhoons will make landfall within twenty-four hours. They join the team for hot pot as work, production, classes, and outdoor activity are suspended 44.
After returning, she decorates her apartment and receives diluted mutant core solution from Professor Ji. While her teammates undergo injections and ability monitoring, she becomes fascinated with Qin Luo’s new wolf ears and tail. Their companionship gives her a sense of belonging she had lacked since losing her grandparents 46 47 49 50.
Speed Classification, Weapon Upgrade, and Seafood Mission
Xiao Qiao’s test records her speed at three times the ordinary baseline, allowing Qin Luo to replace the “none” entry in her profile with a First-Order Speed Mutated Person classification. This provides an official explanation for her physical improvement while concealing her spatial ability 54.
After her first white-haired episode, she chooses her chainsaw for the team’s weapon upgrades and receives a pink, power-stone-driven version. Her increasing speed, jumping, and aggressive leg-targeting tactics make her a formidable close-range fighter 55 56 62 71.
During the Low-Lying District seafood mission, the team gathers mutated marine creatures and feeds her newly collected cores. Her Rubik’s Cube Space upgrades to six color-coded functions, and her spoken communication begins recovering. Subsequent monitoring barely rates her as tier two, despite the space’s much broader capabilities 96 106 108 111.
Winter Missions and Romantic Development
During snowy missions, she confirms that Spatial Strangulation can be used repeatedly, discovers her silver-clawed hand transformation, and helps other squads communicate by distributing whistles 116 122 129 132.
The Mutant Beauty Tree’s illusions fail to hold her attention for more than a moment. Content with the human respect and warmth she has received, she distinguishes its fantasies from reality and fights through severe physical attacks 137.
She and Qin Luo officially begin dating, making their previously close companionship an acknowledged romantic relationship. Their intimacy develops alongside continued missions, training, and research monitoring 151 154 155 172 185.
Rated tier three on combat strength alone, she rejects the prospect of becoming a closely supervised “walking warehouse.” Her declaration that she wants to fight beside the team to the very end deeply moves all four companions 195.
Spatial Domain and Research Institute Invasion
Her new Spatial Domain initially proves inadequate to restrain Qin Luo, but succeeds against mutant sheep on the following mission. This establishes its early control range and dependence on the target’s strength 231 232.
At the Research Institute, Xiao Qiao finds her intelligence comparable to an ordinary person’s, though comprehension still lags. Soon afterward, Lizard People breach basement level ten. Xu Duoduo fights beside Qin Luo and Wang Weihu, identifies signs of the intruders’ age, and later recognizes their sensitivity to bright light 244 245 246.
The battle leaves her seriously wounded and suffering severe mutant ability backlash. With her collar gone and her spatial power no longer fully concealed, Du Chunjiang stays beside her and helps care for the injured team 251 256 257.
Headquarters reviews her history and collar records, finding essentially stable emotions except during the basement battle. Following deliberation and a public opinion vote, she becomes the base’s first Mutated Person permitted to live without a monitoring collar. Her case also opens a path for other stable, contributing Mutated People with people willing to vouch for them to gain the same freedom 257.
Seventh-Tier Combat and Defense of H City
Her seventh-tier spatial ability becomes publicly known, and she demonstrates much stronger shields and Strangulation attacks. Allied squads increasingly recognize her as a powerhouse rather than merely a storage specialist 272 274 276.
Her relationship with Qin Luo progresses to engagement, with her ring becoming a cherished token of their bond. She also begins speaking more openly about her loneliness and lost family while accepting reassurance that her mutation does not negate her humanity 279 286 298 339.
She contains Qin Luo’s lightning as he absorbs a natural thunderstorm, then embraces his newly manifested giant wolf form. Her teammates increasingly regard her space as potentially humanity’s last hope, while recognizing that such power can also make her a target 350 358.
During the defense of H City, she fights masses of monsters and kills a headless six-star monster by herself. Despite wanting to chase the retreating enemies for their resources, she obeys Qin Luo’s order to return 369 371 372.
Zombie Encirclement, Rescue, and Public Teleportation
As her memories grow clearer, she becomes conflicted about recovering completely, fearing that her former personality will be less lovable. Qin Luo responds patiently to her emotional shifts 395 396 413.
During the second zombie encirclement operation, she collects cores remotely while the team’s other members challenge stronger enemies. Later, she uses mass spatial attacks and protective barriers during rescue operations and helps restrict Fang Ming’s escape routes floor by floor 403 404 416 417 421.
Extended fighting damages her upgraded chainsaw beyond immediate use. She switches to explosives and firearms, then publicly demonstrates teleportation and domain suppression while defeating a toad fusion monster with a Tang Dao. The live broadcast astonishes viewers across the major bases 425 426 430.
Afterward, she studies the replay to improve her technique, adopting the team’s habit of reviewing battlefield performance 435.
Border Battle and Ninth-Tier Expansion
At the border defense line, she supplies safe drinking water while keeping the full extent of her space’s water function concealed. During exhausting combat, she opens a domain so her companions can rest 446 452 460.
A ten-day battle produces major breakthroughs across the allied teams. Rings of light emerge from her as the cube spins and expands, and her subsequent ninth-tier form provides greatly increased energy, protection, domain size, and perception 464 467 470 471.
After Drunkard’s death, she comforts the grieving Qin Luo and tells him he need not conceal his pain from her. When he develops a fever, she checks his condition and stays with him 469.
Arsenal Raid and Omniscient Sense
Opposing destructive warfare between humans, she embraces the plan to confiscate the enemy’s weapons. Guided by Bai Shu, she uses ninth-tier perception and Remote Retrieval to empty an underground M Country arsenal from above, taking weapons, fighter jets, materials, and mutant cores 482 488.
She later intercepts incoming metal bombs and returns them to their attackers, rejecting the use of extreme and inhumane weapons against her compatriots 491.
Qin Luo and Xu Duoduo register their marriage while her senses continue to develop. Professor Ji considers her disturbing auditory experiences very likely an awakening of Omniscient Sense rather than ordinary hallucinations 501 502.
As conditions worsen, she worries that her space cannot protect everyone. A recreated middle-school dance restores memories of their final-year New Year’s Eve Gala, while constant monster hunting brings her closer to level ten and an unknown awaited date 506.
Earth’s Revival and Restored Clarity
During the final world-ending battle, her sensitivity to others’ fear and grief overwhelms her emotionally, even as Spatial Strangulation destroys monsters with little more than a thought 508.
She breaks through the tenth level to God-Level. Revival begins in the Flower Nation as land fuses, rain returns, vegetation grows, and monsters become nutrients. Later accounts credit her spatial power with covering Earth and restoring its life 512 533.
After losing consciousness, she awakens with full mental clarity and returning memories. Her restored reserved personality leaves her mortified by recollections of her uninhibited romance, but her love, ring, and marriage certificate make her commitment to Qin Luo unmistakable. Bai Shu eventually detects the recovery, and she apologizes for not revealing it immediately 513 515.
The Rubik’s Cube Space has merged with Earth and now appears in three colors. Her stockpiled goods remain, her domain and stronger Strangulation persist, and she demonstrates retrieval across distances so great that Qin Luo likens Earth to her backyard 516.
Wedding and Interstellar Life
Xu Duoduo and Qin Luo hold their wedding at H City Base’s new Lawn Park on January 1, 2031. Du Chunjiang and Mu Enya prepare her makeup, Lin Qianxing provides the dress, teammates give speeches, and the Man-Eating Flower Babies serve as flower children and bring the rings 520.
In the interstellar era, she continues an ordinary social life with Mu Enya and Du Chunjiang and treasures the friendships that survived the apocalypse. She limits her interference in Earth’s affairs in accordance with her predecessor’s wishes 522 523.
She and Qin Luo combine their neighboring apartments into a larger, warm home reflecting both of their preferences. Their marriage remains affectionate, although her restored clarity makes her considerably shyer than during her earlier clouded period 524.
