Ye Fei found the critically injured Lin Che, a school senior he recognized as a lucky player, and gave him food and medicine in exchange for his Heavenly Spirit Pearl. Lin Che revealed that his half brother Lin Mu had secretly engineered many of Ye Fei’s past misfortunes, leaving Ye Fei to reconsider his unhappy memories.
Ye Fei escorted the injured Lin Che home to collect the Heavenly Spirit Pearl and learned that Feng An had arranged for them to meet. The chapter ended with Ye Fei realizing Lin Mu was nearby.
Ye Fei waited for Lin Che to bring him the Heavenly Spirit Pearl while Feng An described the Snow Mountain region and its tangled families. Lin Che offered Ye Fei his Koi King as well, but Ye Fei refused it and advised him to raise it and pursue becoming a Dragon Knight.
Ye Fei explained why he had concealed the Dragon Transformation Pill’s billion-point price from Lin Che, then returned home to cultivate and messaged Long Heng. Their joking complaints about Feng An ended with Long Heng worrying that Ye Fei had been hurt or changed by Feng An.
Ye Fei accepted that his life in the game world was real and felt at home with his companions. As he slept in the hot spring, Feng An fretted over his growing debt to Ye Fei, while Phoenix Perch recognized that Feng An had incurred more by bringing someone for Ye Fei to save.
Ye Fei comforted Qingxue, Feng Bai, and Eclipse Moon as they underwent bloodline strengthening, then slept beside them while they recovered. All three succeeded, and Ye Fei urged the two cubs to show him their grown forms before the approaching Disaster Period.
Ye Fei watched Little White Tiger and Little Fox reveal their large forms, then reassured them that he still found them adorable but wanted them to stay small at home. After Big Dog challenged Phantom Spirit, Ye Fei let Phantom Spirit go teach Eclipse Moon a lesson.
Ye Fei’s companions played with Eclipse Moon, Qingxue, and Feng Bai using Phantom Spirit’s illusion, leaving Phantom Spirit exhausted but pleased with the results. After the mishap, Phantom Spirit decided to teach the three newcomers basic cultivation methods the next day.
Ye Fei let the exhausted Phantom Spirit rest after its illusion trapped the other fluffballs, then refined the Luanwood Mystic Wind Robe. The robe boosted his attributes, resistances, and recovery, but its special effects remained unknown.
Feng An brought an overstuffed Little Phoenix home to Ye Fei, who cared for it before it settled into its nest in the Phoenix Tree. After Ye Fei's companions returned from gathering supplies, he sorted their haul and began opening the crates.
Ye Fei expanded his Inventory and urged his little ones to begin cultivating as he prepared for the Third Month Disaster. He went to bed early, uncertain what creatures the disaster would bring.
A new Snow Mountain disaster brought hot springs containing demon insect eggs, and Ye Fei assessed how they could spread and hatch. He destroyed the first hot spring with the Phoenix Tree’s precise flames and planned to search the rest of the mountain after daylight.
Ye Fei received rewards for destroying a hot spring and Demon Insect eggs, then discussed the Disaster Period and his defenses with Lingyan before cultivating. Feng An visited and revealed that someone had their eye on Ye Fei, while the Phoenix Tree suspected they meant him harm.
Ye Fei took the little ones out into a blizzard to search for hot springs and found a cursed Demon Tomb Butterfly with its wings torn off. Little Phoenix ate it, burned away the curse, and earned Red Spirit Stones, while Ye Fei suspected Lin Mu had left it there to trap him.
Ye Fei searched for hot springs and removed a small one’s insect eggs and core water sphere while Jun Mo reported surviving the cold with layered courtyard walls. Outside Ye Fei’s home, Lin Mu recognized the Phoenix Tree as a Divine Phoenix Tree and left with Yang Cheng, wary of provoking the Cultivation Practitioner who lived there.
Ye Fei learned that Lin Mu had visited his home with Yang Cheng, then discovered Lin Mu’s sudden growth in power came from inheriting the origin of a Demon Clan member Feng An had killed. Feng An admitted he had inadvertently helped create a powerful enemy, but Lin Mu still did not know Ye Fei was the person on the Mountain Peak.
Ye Fei received a large haul of high-quality seafood from Long Heng, who had spent the day clearing his island of sea monsters during his Disaster Phase. After resting and reading Feng An’s messages, Long Heng reconsidered his view of Ye Fei as a weak, naive human.
After feeding Long Heng, Ye Fei settled in for the evening while the little ones went to cultivate. A blood-red danger marker appeared outside his home, and Ye Fei kept everyone inside, unaware that a large, whiskered head had approached the courtyard wall.
Ye Fei learned that Feng An had dealt with the True Dragon that approached Little Phoenix and given its dragon pearl to Long Heng. Long Heng evolved into the Dragon Race, while Ye Fei realized Feng An had lied about the power of his dragon form.
Ye Fei encountered Lin Xian while heading out with Feng Bai, then rushed to investigate what Eclipse Moon and Phantom Spirit had found. There he discovered Jun Mo from Iceberg buried in the snow, and brought the crying boy and his bundles home.
Ye Fei brought Jun Mo and his creatures home, where Jun Mo met Phoenix Perch after boasting that he would chop the tree. Ye Fei handed him an Iron Axe, leaving Jun Mo to face the tree he had hoped to avoid provoking.
Jun Mo arrived on Snow Mountain after a strange elemental storm swept him and his companions away from Iceberg. Ye Fei agreed to shelter Lingxu while Jun Mo built a home nearby and warned him about local hazards and players.
Ye Fei and Jun Mo discussed why people stayed entangled with difficult family members, and Feng An joined them to ask about a dying man who had slapped his daughter. After Feng An teased Jun Mo about his unusual way of feeding his cat and fish, he encouraged him to settle in the Snow Mountain area, leaving the animals wary of Feng An’s interest in their household.
Ye Fei helped Jun Mo build a house for Lingxiao, who revealed through its reactions that the cramped home had been bothering it. Ye Fei mentioned that the Phoenix Tree had also endured a lack of space, leaving Lingxiao comforted that it was not the only one that had put up with so much.
Ye Fei searched the snowy mountains with his companions for hot springs and demon insect eggs, destroying the eggs they found. After locating a hot spring in the direction the ants had attacked from, he sent Fire Dance to scout ahead and waited for the phoenix to return.
