Background / History

Ancient Invasion and Sealing

The Heavenly Evil God came from the Saint Demon Clan. During the Ancient Era, he fought the Undying Emperor in the decisive confrontation that ended the Outer Realm Evil Clan’s invasion of the Great Thousand World. He lost by a single move and was sealed beneath Northern Wilderness Hill, but his extraordinary vitality prevented his immediate destruction. The Undying Emperor sacrificed his life to seal him 95 98.

The Great Thousand Palace subsequently invoked the Great Thousand Covenant every thousand years, gathering Heavenly Sovereigns to activate the seal and gradually extinguish his remaining vitality. The Tomb Keeper Clan guarded the site for forty-nine thousand years, while the Saint Heavenly Demon Emperor commanded the Outer Realm Evil Clan in his absence 95 98 117.

Escape at Northern Wilderness Hill

The final Great Thousand Covenant was intended to erase his life imprint completely. The assembled Heavenly Sovereigns powered the Great Thousand Demon Transformation Array, which needed to deliver ninety-nine Demon-Subduing Ancient Spears. The Outer Realm Evil Clan attacked to prevent its completion, using the Corroding Demon Clan’s self-destruction to slow the array and a Heart Demon Seed to make Qin Tian temporarily dismantle its barrier 109 111 112 115.

The decisive breach came through the Evil Spirit Clan. Jiang Ya and his companions entered the array and sacrificed themselves, completing the blood offering that brought the Heavenly Evil God back before the final three spears could descend. Futu Yijing wounded him with the World Tree, but the newly emerged god answered with a palm strike that pierced Futu Yijing’s armor and left him gravely injured 117.

After escaping, he devoured the blood essence of countless beings in lower planes prepared by the Saint Heavenly Demon Emperor. Although this restored less than half his strength, he attempted to destroy Northern Wilderness Hill as a declaration of his return. Futu Yijing’s Black Dragon intercepted the attack 118 119.

Battle Against the Three Transcendent Experts

Futu Yijing, the Flame Emperor, and the Martial Ancestor each left a mark on the Firmament Ledger and transcended Saint Grade. Their combined assault drove the weakened Heavenly Evil God back, prompting him to consume his own forces and open all five visible evil eyes 120 121.

The three opponents destroyed his Evil Waterfall and overwhelmed his Five-Eyed God-Slaying Diagram, damaging his eyes. He then revealed that he had once been the Nine-Eyed Evil God and exposed four additional eyes. As Futu Yijing began merging with Black Piece and White Piece, he partially opened his sixth eye with his blood and unleashed World-Splitting Demonic Light 121 122 123.

Recognizing the threat of Futu Yijing’s transformation, he ordered a retreat. He remained hidden while the Great Thousand Alliance counterattacked the Demon Domain, destroying eight of the Thirty-Two Great Clans over three and a half years. The campaign failed to locate him or prevent his recovery 124.

Final Battle and Death

Five years after their confrontation at Northern Wilderness Hill, the Heavenly Evil God returned before the assembled armies on the Spirit Demon Continent. Futu Yijing, having completed his fusion, challenged him. They exchanged more than ten thousand rounds before the Heavenly Evil God opened his ninth eye 125 126.

Futu Yijing moved their next clash into an uninhabited Lower Plane, which their attacks destroyed. Wounded despite his nine-eyed power, the Heavenly Evil God offered to protect Futu Yijing’s friends and family if he joined him. When Futu Yijing refused, he sacrificed his nine eyes and part of his lifespan to create the Tenth Eye 127 128.

Futu Yijing answered by inscribing his complete true name on the Firmament Ledger and becoming the Great Thousand World’s first Dominator. Unable to overcome an opponent drawing continuously on world power, the Heavenly Evil God sacrificed countless members of his army and detonated the Ten-Eyed Demon Statue, sending destructive torrents toward continents throughout the world 129 130.

Futu Yijing gathered spiritual power from the world’s inhabitants, repelled the torrents, and unleashed True Dragon Precious Technique: Black Dragon Severs the Firmament. The attack shattered the Tenth Eye and sent destructive battle will into the Heavenly Evil God’s body. After acknowledging his defeat, his body cracked apart and exploded. Futu Yijing absorbed the released demonic qi into the Treasure Map for purification, and the Heavenly Evil God perished permanently 131 132.

Appearance

• Human form: Exceedingly handsome, with a jade-like face and pure-black eyes resembling revolving black holes 118.
• Clothing: Wears a white robe inscribed with heavenly stars. At his return to the Spirit Demon Continent, his gentle smile and lustrous appearance give him an almost compassionate air 118 125.
• Five visible eyes: Two facial eyes and three additional eyes on his forehead; the forehead eyes are described as vertical 118 125.
• Four concealed eyes: One over his heart, one at his navel, and one in each palm. Revealing them exposes his muscular upper body 123.
• Ten-eyed transformation: All nine original eyes disappear, leaving empty facial sockets and a single dark, vertical Tenth Eye at the center of his brow 128.
• Blood: Black; used to mark and activate his evil eyes 123 127.

Personality

The Heavenly Evil God combines a calm, elegant manner with extreme cruelty. He smiles while massacring lower-plane inhabitants and treats his own followers as expendable sources of blood essence. When faced with defeat, he is willing to sacrifice both his soldiers and the world he intends to conquer 118 121 130.

He is deeply confident in his supremacy, initially believing that the Undying Emperor’s death has left the Great Thousand World without anyone capable of resisting him. Nevertheless, he recognizes exceptional opponents: he praises the strength of Futu Yijing, the Flame Emperor, and the Martial Ancestor, attempts to recruit Futu Yijing, and retreats rather than wait for a dangerous transformation to finish 119 123 124 127.

At his death, he admits that his ambition was to conquer the Great Thousand World and strengthen the Outer Realm Evil Clan. Though unwilling to accept failure, he acknowledges the world’s extraordinary fortune and faces his end with unexpected composure 132.
