Su Ming gathered allies and negotiated with the Celestials, guiding their assessment of humanity while Earth prepared for their arrival. As the Celestials examined human behavior, Ultron escaped and began pursuing his own plans.

  • Wanda made Eight-Ball vulnerable, and Deathstroke killed him so Su Ming could extract and contain Starbrand for negotiations with the World Will.
  • Ultron rejected Doctor Pym’s control, escaped his laboratory, and later captured Loki while Thor was absent.

Arc 74The Celestial War and the Lost Primarch

Su Ming thwarted the Celestials’ plan to experiment on Earth’s inhabitants, destroying Judge Arishem in a collapsing Parallel World before returning home. He then entered a war-torn galaxy, where Efferal Stern mistook him for a lost Primarch and followed him through enemy-held tunnels.

  • Ultron killed Thor and pursued Wade, Jen, and Daisy, but Daisy wielded Mjolnir, transformed into the God of Thunder, and destroyed Ultron.
  • Su Ming explained Odin’s plan for Daisy and guided Arishem through humanity’s cruelty until the Celestial judged Earth’s lifeforms fit to ascend and selected people for experiments.
  • Wanda helped Su Ming oppose the Celestials, and with Wade, Chewie, and several Demon Gods, they destroyed the Collector and the other replica Celestials.
  • Su Ming fought Judge Arishem in a Parallel World, using the Time Stone to damage the Celestial while the universe cycled backward until it collapsed and destroyed Arishem.

Arc 76The Tomb Beneath the World

Su Ming uncovered an Inquisition plot, secured Efferal’s place among his allies, and maneuvered the factions above ground into conflict while searching for a Necron tomb. Beneath the planet, Efferal deciphered the Necrons’ history and Su Ming led her into the dark in search of a buried C’tan Shard.

  • Su Ming discovered that an assassin’s bullet linked the missing Space Wolves to the Inquisition, while Deathstroke captured the assassin and uncovered her connection to an Inquisitor.
  • Su Ming killed the Inquisitor and her retinue, then helped Efferal take command of their frigate and brought its records and intercepted messages to the Space Wolves and Dark Angels.
  • Su Ming explained the Necrons’ history and divided the enemy factions among himself, the Space Wolves, and the Dark Angels as he planned to locate the planet’s tombs.
  • Su Ming devastated a Chaos assault with a vast seven-colored ray, then took Efferal to suspected tomb sites to search for danger beneath the ground.
  • Su Ming killed an Avatar of Khaine and discovered through Efferal that a vast Necron city lay underground, while a terrifying presence called to her.
  • Su Ming used Brainiac 21’s fleet to cripple the Chaos fleet and arranged for the ground armies to drive their enemies toward the Necron encirclement.
  • Su Ming and Efferal entered the tomb, where Efferal projected scenes of the Necrons’ war with the C’tan and learned that the dynasty had gone into stasis to guard a buried Shard.
  • Efferal found a sixty-million-year-old record in a chamber of sleeping Necrons, and Su Ming used a high-heeled shoe to choose a passage before carrying her into the darkness.
