Die a Spectacular Death Like This

Hearing that voice, Luffy could not help turning around, crying out in surprise.

"It's you, Buggy the Clown!"

The man before him was none other than Buggy the Clown, along with Cabaji, Alvida, and the rest of the Buggy Pirates.

They had prepared for a long time and had finally found Luffy. While Luffy was immersed in the feeling of becoming the Pirate King, Buggy had silently flown up using his Chop-Chop Ability and restrained him.

Luffy was rubber, and blades were his weakness. Buggy pressed a sharp blade against him and sneered.

Buggy said hatefully.

As a crew member of the Pirate King, after gaining the power of the Chop-Chop Fruit, he had swept through the East Blue without an equal and was preparing to advance into the Grand Line. Yet he had suffered defeat at Luffy's hands.

It was the greatest humiliation of his life. He had to avenge this grudge now!

"And me, you damn rubber brat. Today, I'm taking revenge for myself too!"

Cabaji sneered. As a senior officer of the Buggy Pirates, he had always been unstoppable, yet he had actually lost to Zoro. Now he had come to take revenge and restore his pride.

"Me too. You dared lay such a cruel hand on my beloved mount. I won't forgive you!"

Mohji said coldly.

His tamed beast Richie had been beaten terribly by Luffy. As a beast tamer, he had to take revenge! "And me too, Straw Hat Kid, Luffy!"

Alvida looked at Luffy and smiled.

"Who are you?"

Luffy looked at Alvida with a blank expression. He could understand Buggy coming to take revenge, but who was this beautiful woman? Did he have a grudge against her?

"You bastard! You're the only man in all these years who has ever touched my body, and you don't even remember? Unforgivable!"

Alvida immediately flew into a rage upon hearing Luffy's words! She was a pirate leader who had run rampant across the East Blue. Wherever she went, she had always swept everything before her. When had anyone ever looked down on her like this?

And Luffy had beaten her, yet he had even forgotten her!

That was more insulting than the greatest humiliation!

Luffy still looked blank, unable to remember.

"Kill him!"

Alvida roared in fury. Since he could not remember, he could just die!

"Hehehe, you damn rubber brat, don't you dream of becoming the Pirate King? Fine. So many people are watching you now. This scene is exactly like when Roger was executed back then. Go die with Roger!"

"You may be invincible as rubber, but the blade in my hand can cut through iron like mud. Watch me slice your head off with one stroke! I suppose that would count as a spectacular death!"

Buggy sneered, raising his blade and bringing it down at Luffy, about to kill him!

"Huh?"

At that moment, Smoker arrived at the central square in his Smoke Man form. He then came up to the rooftop and was shocked by what he saw! He had crossed paths with Luffy several times and had not expected this guy to be the Straw Hat Kid, the pirate with a 30 million Beli bounty. And now, he was actually about to be killed!

"Who's that kid? Did he say he wants to become the Pirate King?"

"No idea. Never seen him before. The previous Pirate King was Roger. Who is he? And he's wearing a straw hat?"

"That man with the blade is Buggy the Clown, captain of the Buggy Pirates. I can't believe he showed up in Loguetown and is being this high-profile. Have pirates become so brazen in this town?"

The people around them were all shocked by the scene.

More and more people were drawn over by the commotion, while news quickly spread throughout the town! A boy in a straw hat was about to be executed at the Execution Platform by another band of pirates!

On West Street, after Sanji defeated the beautiful chef and obtained the rare ingredients, he headed toward the town's central square in satisfaction. They had agreed to gather there before returning to the ship.

However, before he had gone far, he heard that the Straw Hat Kid was being executed, and his heart stirred. That guy... couldn't be Luffy, could he?

Thinking of this, he hurriedly ran toward the main road leading to the center of town.

"This is bad, Luffy's in danger!"

"Someone wants to kill Luffy? That brat got himself into trouble again!"

"This is terrible. Hurry, let's get there!"

At the same time, Usopp, Zoro, and Nami also received the news and hurried toward the main road leading to the center of the square.

When they reached the square, they saw Buggy the Clown standing atop the ten-meter-high Execution Platform, raising a large blade toward Luffy!

He still had to take them to the Grand Line, draw sea charts of the entire world, find the All Blue that every chef dreamed of, and become a brave Warrior of the Sea!

Buggy roared.

The blade flashed.

"Nami, Moonlight, Usopp, Sanji, Zoro, I'm going to die!"

Luffy struggled for a while, but seemed to realize it was useless. As though he had put down some burden, he stopped struggling. Instead, he looked down at the crowd below and smiled at Moonlight and the others.

"He actually smiled!"

Smoker was deeply shaken.

He had seen countless life-and-death situations, but this was the first time he had seen someone smile in the face of death.

He could tell that Luffy's smile was serene, as though he had died a worthy death!

"Luffy!"

Zoro and the others roared, their eyes bloodshot with fury!

"There's no saving him. He's definitely dead!"

"Hehe, he can still smile when he's about to die. I really don't know what he's thinking!"

The people around them all shook their heads. Some of the more timid ones turned away, unable to bear watching!
