Background / History

Li Rui transmigrated into the body of a servant whose family had been ruined and who had frozen to death after being sold to the Zhu Family. He used literacy and quick wits to secure a relatively comfortable position as the Zhu Family groom, eventually becoming known as Old Li and taking apprentices of his own. 1

At sixty-nine, Li Rui received the “perfect life” notification and awakened a Martial Bone. He immediately sought Yang Yong’s Eight Section Brocade, seeing martial cultivation as his chance to extend his lifespan and pursue immortality. 1

His rapid early breakthroughs opened a path from household servant to martial official. He later entered the Anning Guard, became its Military Advisor, cultivated both martial and immortal methods, and deliberately built influence through disciples, allies, official service, and sect affiliations. 308 450
