Nature and Structure
White Jade Capital is an exceptionally secretive immortal sect. Its Twelve Towers and Five Cities are its public-facing branches, while the “true” White Jade Capital is largely unknown beyond the Immortal Cultivation World’s highest circles. Its core members who travel outside are collectively called World Walkers. 559
- The central sect is based on an immortal island suspended amid clouds, with more than a hundred mountain peaks, rivers, lakes, twelve towering jade structures, and abundant spiritual energy. 665
- The island remains evergreen year-round because of its dense spiritual energy; cultivating there can at least double cultivation speed. 665
- The lesser Twelve Towers within the island include the Law Transmission Tower, Talisman Tower, Formation Tower, and Spirit Plant Tower, providing techniques, divine abilities, and cultivation resources through spirit stones or contribution points. 666
- White Jade Capital’s outer branches include the Twelve Towers and Five Cities. Their city lords and sect leaders are core members of the true White Jade Capital. 586
- The sect’s hierarchy does not divide core disciples into inner and outer sects; all core members begin as True Inheritance disciples. 604
- World Walkers are core disciples tasked with operating outside the sect and are generally expected to spend most of their time away from the immortal island. 559 665
- Only elders above the Spirit Severing Realm are normally permitted to establish cave abodes. 665
Immortal Tree and Immortal Fruit
White Jade Capital is sustained by an Immortal Tree, an Immortal’s Legacy that serves as the sect’s foundation and greatest protected treasure. 603
- The Immortal Tree is the reason White Jade Capital has endured for ten thousand years alongside other ancient immortal sects. 603
- Contact with an Immortal’s Legacy is necessary to comprehend immortal qi; White Jade Capital’s Immortal Fruit allows its recipients to access this opportunity more broadly than sects whose legacies are less accessible. 603
- Core disciples of White Jade Capital are renowned for their strength, with Immortal Fruit identified as a major reason for their exceptional potential. 508
- Immortal Fruit Spirit is occasionally awarded to gifted disciples of the Twelve Towers and Five Cities. Recipients may then be absorbed into the true White Jade Capital as core members. 587
- The sect strictly prohibits Immortal Fruit from leaving its control, particularly after the historical attempt to steal the Immortal Tree. 666
- Si Feng stole and consumed an Immortal Fruit before descending to a lower realm; White Jade Capital pursued him for this offense and later confined him in Bi Feng Prison. 498 666
History
White Jade Capital’s lineage originated from the Ancient Immortal Court. Its founding ancestor came from a hidden sect in Central Province and established White Jade Capital in Taihua Province after the Central Province main branch gradually declined. 805
For generations, the sect maintained two Dao Lords at a time, preserving its inheritance despite repeated attempts by outside forces to seize its legacy. 805
Five hundred years before Li Rui’s first visit, North River Dao Lord colluded with a Dao Lord of the Myriad Laws Palace in an attempt to steal the Immortal Tree. North River Dao Lord was suppressed, the Myriad Laws Palace Dao Lord vanished, and the traitors of True Monarch Yi Chen’s branch were executed at the Heavenly Thunder Platform. The upheaval severely weakened White Jade Capital and made it far more protective of its Immortal Fruit. 665 666
White Jade Capital later withdrew from the wider world and concentrated its disciples, elders, Twelve Towers, and Five Cities within Golden Court Small Province. The sect had spent five generations arranging for Golden Court Grotto-heaven to enter Taihua Province, then used its resulting resources and talents to rebuild its foundation. 791

- The contest occurs once every two Sixty-Year Cycles. 686
- The title grants access to White Jade Capital’s broad resources and functions as powerful political protection within the sect. 686
- When traveling outside, the Dao Child may temporarily exercise the authority of the sect master. 729
- Li Rui became Dao Child after defeating Liu Qing and Yan Kong, becoming the youngest and strongest Dao Child in White Jade Capital’s history. 690
