White Jade Capital is an exceptionally secretive immortal sect. Its Twelve Towers and Five Cities are its public-facing branches, while the “true” White Jade Capital is largely unknown beyond the Immortal Cultivation World’s highest circles. History

White Jade Capital’s lineage originated from the Ancient Immortal Court. Its founding ancestor came from a hidden sect in Central Province and established White Jade Capital in Taihua Province after the Central Province main branch gradually declined. 805

For generations, the sect maintained two Dao Lords at a time, preserving its inheritance despite repeated attempts by outside forces to seize its legacy. 805

Five hundred years before Li Rui’s first visit, North River Dao Lord colluded with a Dao Lord of the Myriad Laws Palace in an attempt to steal the Immortal Tree. North River Dao Lord was suppressed, the Myriad Laws Palace Dao Lord vanished, and the traitors of True Monarch Yi Chen’s branch were executed at the Heavenly Thunder Platform. The upheaval severely weakened White Jade Capital and made it far more protective of its Immortal Fruit. 665 666

White Jade Capital later withdrew from the wider world and concentrated its disciples, elders, Twelve Towers, and Five Cities within Golden Court Small Province. The sect had spent five generations arranging for Golden Court Grotto-heaven to enter Taihua Province, then used its resulting resources and talents to rebuild its foundation. 791

• Zhuge Ming — One of White Jade Capital’s Dao Lords and a central architect of its long-term survival. He protected the sect through the Immortal Tree, cultivated successors, and later dispersed his Dao to reincarnate. 745 805 863
