Konoha Ninja Village, Ninja Academy, Elite Class.

As Iruka led the calm-faced Tianyun Hyuga toward the Elite Class classroom, he had considered talking to him to help him settle his nerves.

But Tianyun Hyuga looked even calmer than an adult, leaving Iruka at a loss for what to say. In the end, he could only sigh inwardly and lead him straight to the classroom.

When they reached the Elite Class doorway, Tianyun Hyuga spotted several familiar faces inside at a glance. Among them were Neji Hyuga, whom he had declared he would surpass, and Neji's teammates, Rock Lee and Tenten.

He did not recognize most of the other faces. As for the people he wanted to meet-the master of talk-no-jutsu, Naruto Uzumaki, that fool Sasuke Uchiha, and the other members of the Konoha 12-he saw none of them, which left him somewhat disappointed.

It made sense when he thought about it. Hinata Hyuga and the others were only six, still a year short of school age. They would probably start attending the Academy next year. In other words, Tianyun Hyuga had arrived too early.

Since none of the people he wanted to meet were there, Tianyun Hyuga lost interest in his classmates. He walked into the classroom ahead of Iruka, strode to the middle of the teaching platform, and introduced himself with an overbearing air. "My name is Tianyun Hyuga. From now on, I'm your boss, and you'll all do as I say. Got it?"

Iruka was utterly speechless. He felt that the Third Hokage had dumped a troublemaker on him. And Meicun Hyuga, who had asked him to look after Tianyun Hyuga, had clearly been talking nonsense. With that attitude, did Tianyun Hyuga really need anyone looking after him? He was nothing but a little menace. Iruka could already feel a headache coming on.

The students in the Elite Class were children from the various clans, and nearly all of them had undergone rigorous training. Besides, they were still children. How could they possibly accept a newcomer as their boss?

And so, the entire Elite Class erupted into an uproar...

"Who's that brat? He's so arrogant. Just looking at him pisses me off..." A boy from the Inuzuka Clan was furious.

"Exactly! Heigui Inuzuka, show him what you can do after class," the two children sitting beside Heigui Inuzuka chimed in.

"Sure. Just watch me!" Heigui Inuzuka replied smugly.

In the classroom, the two children sitting beside Neji Hyuga leaned toward him and asked, "Hey, Neji, is that arrogant guy really strong? How come he's even more arrogant than you?"

Neji Hyuga also frowned at Tianyun Hyuga. Unfortunately, he had no recollection of him at all and had no idea when such an overbearing brat had appeared in the Hyuga Clan.

Still, as a fellow member of the Hyuga Clan, Neji Hyuga did not want Tianyun Hyuga to be bullied, especially by the two Uchiha Clan boys glaring angrily at him from farther away. So he stood and beckoned to Tianyun Hyuga. "We're both from the Hyuga Clan. Come sit beside me! That way, we can look out for each other."

"Hmph..." When the two Uchiha Clan boys heard Neji Hyuga speak up, they knew dealing with Tianyun Hyuga would no longer be so easy. After all, Neji Hyuga was the top student in the Elite Class, and neither of them was confident they could beat him.

Unfortunately, Tianyun Hyuga did not appreciate the gesture at all. After glancing at Neji Hyuga, he walked straight to the third row and said to Heigui Inuzuka, "Kid, your seat belongs to me now. Go sit in the row behind you! Don't make me get rough..."

Heigui Inuzuka practically exploded with anger. Tianyun Hyuga was far too arrogant. He ranked among the top ten in the Elite Class, yet here he was, being ordered around by some little brat who had only just enrolled.

Seeing Tianyun Hyuga ordering Heigui Inuzuka around, the two children sitting behind him immediately began stirring things up. "Heigui, if you don't do something now, you won't have any standing left in the Elite Class. From now on, you'll just be someone else's lackey..."

"You bastard!" Heigui Inuzuka was already enraged, and with the two children egging him on, he no longer cared that their teacher, Iruka, was still in the classroom. He stood up and threw a punch at Tianyun Hyuga.

"Heigui Inuzuka, stop!"

At the sight of Heigui Inuzuka attacking, Iruka, who had been staring blankly as Tianyun Hyuga stirred up trouble, finally snapped out of it and hurried to intervene.

Unfortunately, Heigui Inuzuka was consumed by rage. He paid no attention to Iruka. All he wanted was to beat Tianyun Hyuga's hateful face into a swollen mess to vent his anger, so he ignored Iruka and continued his attack.

None of the children in the Elite Class were older than eleven, and not one of them was even a genin. However strong they might be, there was a limit to their abilities, especially against a veteran of countless battles like Tianyun Hyuga.

Although Tianyun Hyuga had very little strength at the moment-even less than Heigui Inuzuka-his combat experience far surpassed that of an ordinary genin. Even a chunin could not match his wealth of experience. With a single deft move that turned his opponent's strength against him, Tianyun Hyuga stopped Heigui Inuzuka's attack and sent him sprawling face-first.

"Aah!"

Tianyun Hyuga redirected Heigui Inuzuka to the side, and his own momentum carried him past Tianyun Hyuga and straight to the floor. His face hit first, striking hard enough to draw a scream of pain.

By the time Heigui Inuzuka turned around, the whole class could see that his nose was red from the impact and bleeding nonstop.

When Heigui Inuzuka saw his own blood, he began to panic and hurriedly tried to stop his nosebleed. Unfortunately, in his flustered state, he could not stop it at all and nearly burst into tears.

If not for his pride as a member of the Inuzuka Clan, Heigui Inuzuka really would have cried in distress. He had utterly humiliated himself by losing to a little brat.

Iruka was also dumbfounded. He had never expected the ten-year-old Heigui Inuzuka to be taken down by Tianyun Hyuga in a single move, and he now looked at Tianyun Hyuga rather strangely.

Still, this was no time to take Tianyun Hyuga to task. He hurried over to Heigui Inuzuka and told the other students, "Study on your own for now. I'm taking Heigui to the infirmary for treatment. Don't cause any more trouble, understood?"

Iruka still commanded some respect. At his stern warning, everyone looked away and pretended they had not seen what had just happened.

Once the children had settled down, Iruka quickly picked up Heigui Inuzuka and left the classroom to get him treated at the infirmary.

Amusingly, Heigui Inuzuka did not seem at all willing to be carried off for treatment. He kept struggling and shouting at Tianyun Hyuga, "Tianyun Hyuga, just you wait! I'm challenging you at noon! What happened just now was only a fluke..."

Tianyun Hyuga could not be bothered with him. Curling his lip, he sneered at Heigui Inuzuka as Iruka was about to carry him out of the classroom. "Kid, go home and drink your milk. You might have a chance of beating me once you've grown a little stronger. Right now, you still need a lot more milk."

"You bastard! I'll kill you!" Tianyun Hyuga's words drove Heigui Inuzuka mad with rage. He kept clawing and pounding at Iruka's back, trying to make him let go so he could get revenge on Tianyun Hyuga.

Unfortunately, Iruka had no intention of releasing him. He forcibly carried Heigui Inuzuka away, and they soon disappeared from the classroom.
