"Xiao Yan, I think you've grown strong enough that you no longer need our protection. The Kanto Region still needs me to watch over it so it can remain peaceful. "Giratina, how many times have I told you? The temple is not a place you can invade."
"Hahaha! As long as I'm strong enough, I can invade it as many times as I want."
The two legendary Pokémon, Arceus and Giratina, stared each other down.
Beside Arceus stood Palkia, the god of space, and Dialga, the god of time.
"The creator-no, Arceus. Do you think I'll be scared just because you outnumber me? Humans merely honor you as their creator. I don't believe you created this world. You're just one Pokémon among many."
"I'm no longer as strong as I once was. If we fight head-on, I might not win this battle. Everyone, please lend me your strength!" Arceus was communicating telepathically with the legendary Pokémon of the various regions.
A short while later, many legendary Pokémon appeared around Arceus: Ho-Oh, Celebi, Shaymin, Raikou... and many more.
"I'm not afraid. Don't forget that I have an old friend, too. Come forth, Hoopa Unbound of the rings." A Pokémon with blood-red eyes appeared beside Giratina, its entire body radiating a dark aura.
"Hoopa!? Hoopa would never side with you. What did you do?"
Arceus roared in fury.
"I didn't do anything. I just made Hoopa obey me."
"Damn you."
"Let the battle begin."
A chaotic battle between the legendary Pokémon broke out inside the temple.
"Xiao Yan, if I lose, please help me wipe out these evil forces. This is my final request."
Meanwhile, Xiao Yan looked at the Pokémon Balls that had once held Ho-Oh and Arceus, but they had already begun to crack.
"Legendary Pokémon really are that powerful. If we meet again, I'll catch you with my own strength."
"Professor Oak, please send my Pokémon over."
Xiao Yan now had Pikachu, Charizard, Umbreon, Wartortle (which had evolved while battling passersby), and the Bagon and Riolu the professor had just sent him.
