History
Yue Shen’s Training
Han Qian initially visits Demon-Resisting Town hoping to persuade his nephew, Han Shu, to return to Holy City. Han Shu refuses, but Yue Shen’s Sacred Awakening gives Han Qian another reason to bring a promising knight back with him 3 4.
Han Qian offers Yue Shen better cultivation conditions and a teacher selected by the temple. After their two-day journey, he takes Yue Shen directly to the Knight Division rather than showing him around the city. Yue Shen subsequently trains under Long Xingyu and receives the Knight Temple’s Inheritance Ring and his parents’ repaired twin swords 5 6 10.
Following Long Xingyu’s departure, Han Qian recruits Wei Ping to supervise Yue Shen’s cultivation and practical combat training. By the time Han Qian sends him to Knight Sacred Mountain, Yue Shen has reached the fourth tier and is approaching nineteen hundred points of internal spiritual power 11 12.
After obtaining Sol, Yue Shen returns to Holy City. He leaves his companion outside the gate during inspection, then summons him into the training chamber through their Equal Contract. There, Han Qian recognizes Sol’s aura as that of a Starry Sky Divine Beast 23.
Demon Hunt Squad Selection Tournament
Yue Shen leaves Holy City for Haoyue City to complete a separate fifth-tier qualification assessment. He later returns with Long Haochen, Li Xin, Lin Jialu, Chen Si, and Chen Chen on the registration deadline, accompanied at the city by Inspector Feng Yangmu 24 29 45.
The group registers at the Temple Alliance Grand Trial Grounds and separates for its respective temples’ preliminaries. Yue Shen receives byes for the first two Knight Temple elimination rounds because he is a fifth-tier contestant 45 46.
During the early matches, Han Qian recognizes Long Haochen’s identity and orders his age and personal information concealed. Away from the arena, Yue Shen encounters Sheng Cai’er on the city’s streets and observes her meeting with Long Haochen 48 49.
Life in the City
