Personality

Long Haochen’s drive to cultivate begins with protecting his mother. At the Odin Sub-Temple, he arrives an hour early and remains an hour after class regardless of the weather. His protectiveness later centers equally on Cai’er: after her Spirit Furnace backlash costs her four senses, he blames his own weakness and resolves to become stronger 92 254.

His compassion can override concern for himself. As a child, he hesitates to run toward Yang Tian during a wolf attack because he fears bringing danger to someone else. Cai’er later recognizes the same selflessness in his willingness to risk his life for the knightly principles of protection and valor 15 476.

He is uncompromising toward corruption but does not automatically resort to force. After subduing a corrupt patrol captain, he insists on handling the case through Alliance procedures and refuses Cai’er’s offer to intervene. History

Childhood on Mount Odin

At five, Long Haochen gathers wild vegetables near Mount Odin. He and Bai Yue live in a small village outside Odin Town, where poor nutrition leaves him noticeably thin. Yang Tian rescues him from a black wolf and gives the family Red Refining Fruits that improve Bai Yue’s health 11 15 16 92.

He trains under Balza at the Odin Sub-Temple and later spends two years living and training with Long Xingyu on Mount Odin. After his parents leave, he prepares to enter the Haoyue Branch Hall to learn Guardian skills 92 189 190.

Demon Hunt Squad and Dream Paradise

Long Haochen becomes commander of a Demon Hunt Squad and reunites with Yang Tian at Demon-Exorcism Pass. During a sortie with Sheng Lingxin, he refuses to abandon the battle; Sheng Lingxin subsequently accepts him as Cai’er’s future husband 232 234 236.

Following his Sixth-Rank breakthrough, he receives a provisional place in Dream Paradise and wins his selection match against a female summoner. Inside Dream Paradise, his team joins Yang Tian’s, reaches Ye Xiaolei, and helps guard her against the demon participants 249 255 260 271.

Slaughter Missions and the Demon God Pillar Dispute

To help awaken Cai’er, Long Haochen accepts sixteen Marshal Rank slaughter missions, including the hunt for Snake Demon God Andromalius. His team travels with Yang Tian’s under an agreement that the younger squad will attempt its own battles and receive intervention when necessary 278 292.

Cai’er’s awakening as the God of Death’s inheritor blocks her memories. Long Haochen continues caring for her patiently after Yang Tian restrains and seals her power, gradually becoming the person she trusts most 302 303 313.

The allies clash over the fate of the Demon God Pillars. Long Haochen insists they must be destroyed to end the demonic threat, while Yang Tian wants to reforge them into an artifact. Long Haochen refuses to surrender a future pillar and worries that his senior brother has changed 317.

Afterward, the Sun-Moon Divine Snail grants both knights power, lifespan, and a share of its shell. Long Haochen reaches the eighth level of the Seventh Rank during the ensuing cultivation 321 322 323.

Holy War and Death

Destruction of a Demon God Pillar becomes a major cause of the holy war. Long Haochen spends a year cultivating on Knight Sacred Mountain, reaches the Eighth Order, and enters the Illusion Cave. He later serves as acting Holy Knight Commander and helps rescue Yang Wenzhao and Duan Yi from Asmodeus 345 371 374.

His infiltration of the demon capital leads him into a trap at the Star Demon Tower, where Feng Xiu, Agares, and the Star Demon God await him. With his companions’ survival secured, he refuses suicide and challenges Feng Xiu to a duel. Feng Xiu destroys his heart, killing him despite his Adamantine Base Battle Armor 379 380.

Resurrection

Yang Tian preserves Long Haochen’s body and soul within the Divine Throne of Eternity and Creation, removes the destructive power from his wound, and directs Cai’er toward a suitable replacement heart. Cai’er carries him up the Path to Heaven, kneeling and kowtowing at every step until Electrolux agrees to give him a heart 381 383 386.

He returns to activity through the Eternal Tower, but the reconstructed heart does not yet make him fully alive. Yang Tian later uses life and creation energy to accelerate the growth of his own heart, completing his restoration 459 477 511.

Competition and Federation Leadership

Long Haochen returns for the Holy Temple Grand Competition with Dawn of Light. His duel with Yang Haoyu develops his domain and swordsmanship, while his recorded achievements include winning the Demon Hunt Squad Selection Tournament, killing more than four Demon Gods, and destroying two Demon God Pillars 490 491 492 501.

He becomes chairman of the New Federation, replacing the looser Alliance with a unified organization. His agenda includes integrating the Six Great Temples, strengthening the army, reclaiming lost territory, and seeking the Divine Throne of Eternity and Creation. Yang Tian supports his authority and advises him on delegation and checks and balances 503.

After regrowing his heart, he travels to Imperial Dragon Pass and gains the throne’s recognition. Haoyue’s evolution and Yang Tian’s guidance subsequently raise his spiritual power to 600,000 511 516 519 524.

Final War and Haoyue’s Awakening

At Imperial Dragon Pass, Long Haochen defeats A Bao after a prolonged battle, only to face the combined attack of A Bao, Agares, and Vassago. Feng Xiu then reveals their blood relationship; even after a blood test confirms it, Long Haochen rejects the claim and insists that he is human 531 532 533.

Haoyue manifests as a young man resembling him, and Austin Griffin’s destructive power threatens both the combatants and the Divine Throne. Long Haochen uses the throne’s armor to save Long Xingyu, though the artifact suffers severe damage 535 537.

After Feng Xiu’s fall, Yang Tian offers to help kill Haoyue. Austin Griffin appeals to their shared history, leaving Long Haochen confronted with whether a reincarnated Haoyue would still be the brother he knows. By the later divine-transformation events, Long Haochen has reached 999,999 spiritual power but remains below godhood because Haoyue seals his cultivation realm 540 543.
