Just as he had when he first arrived in South Blue, Xie Wen immediately took out the Hunter's Notes after entering North Blue and had Hua Mei Meow plan their route.

Hua Mei Meow put down the Map in her paws and spoke helplessly to Xie Wen, who was staring at her with resentment written all over his face.
Xie Wen said nothing and continued staring resentfully at her.
"All right~ It was my fault, meow~" Growing a little unnerved by his stare, Hua Mei Meow came over and rubbed her little head against his face, wheedling, "I was just playing along with Ai. Please forgive me, Admiral, meow?"

Then Xie Wen scooped her into his arms and vigorously petted her. Just as she began to enjoy it, he abruptly stopped and turned to pet Klee Meow instead.
