At Karn’s residence, Medea detected an arriving Master and Servant, and Karn ordered her to identify them and send the Servant back to the Holy Grail if they had no backup.

Karn approached Illyasviel with an offer to save her and ally with her, and she agreed to discuss the terms after the battle.

• Illyasviel ordered Sella to keep investigating Shirou Emiya and the explosion in Fuyuki City after learning that two visitors had triggered the estate's Barrier.
• Gil Macremis and Penny entered the grounds with Saber Connor, but Medea, Rider, and Saber Alter attacked them, and the Servants began fighting.

• Illyasviel von Einzbern reaffirmed her agreement with Karn, and he brought Tsunade to examine Leysritt and Sella.
• Tsunade transferred Leysritt’s consciousness into a cultivated human body, giving her human Magic Circuits.
• Zouken Matou modified Shirou Emiya, transplanted Command Spells onto him, and assigned him Assassin, Izo Okada.
• Karn told Rider and Medea that he would target Kirei Kotomine and mobilized government agencies and mages to search for him.
