Background
Jiang Changsheng was born into the Jiang imperial family but was switched from his position as Crown Prince. He delayed acknowledging Jiang Yuan as his father until he possessed the strength to survive any consequence of exposing the truth. 5 312
He cultivates the Dao Follows Nature Skill, an immortal cultivation technique whose true-qi aura is difficult for martial artists to detect. His survival system repeatedly grants cultivation arts, divine abilities, and magical treasures after he endures deadly threats. 5 12 60
His early reputation began when, at fourteen, he killed the Ghost Eye Evil King with a leg technique, making “Changsheng Taoist Priest of Dragon Arising Temple” known throughout Jing City and the martial world. 7 8

- Possesses a hidden Dao mark between his brows after reaching the fifth level of the Dao Follows Nature Skill. 22

Personality
Jiang Changsheng is intensely cautious and survival-oriented. He refuses to gamble with his life, measures threats before acting, and prefers to fight only battles he is certain of winning. Even after surpassing most known opponents, he continues cultivating rather than becoming complacent. 10 146
He rejects political status, wealth, and official appointments when they would interfere with his pursuit of the Dao. Nevertheless, he remains invested in the Jiang family, Dragon Arising Temple, and the stability of the human race. 12 26 261
Though he often hides his full strength and avoids unnecessary attention, he values loyalty, affection, and righteousness. He quietly helps those in despair without seeking recognition, regarding this as acting according to his own Dao. 343 419
