Li Xia gathered allies and power while defeating the Four War Gods and overcoming his cultivation bottleneck with the Dog General’s help. Kaguya broke free, captured Inuyasha, and forced Li Xia and Sesshomaru to confront her before Li Xia could choose the battlefield.

• Li Xia rescued Kikyo from Naraku’s Miko Seal, but she died from her wounds after confessing his feelings and asking her to become his other girlfriend.
• Li Xia revived Midoriko and built up his forces, including Stone Statue Demons, while Shiori gained the Blood Coral Jewel’s recognition.
• Li Xia and his allies defeated the Four War Gods on Mount Penglai, freed the children from their threat, and gained the fireflies’ soul power.
• Li Xia strengthened his allies and weapons, then asked Medicine Elder Poison Immortal to help him confront the Ancient Evil Spirit within Sōunga.
• Li Xia and the Dog General fought Yamata no Orochi, and the Dog General sacrificed his remaining soul power to raise Li Xia’s strength before asking him to look after his sons.
• Naraku tried to drain Kaguya through the Mirror of Life, but she broke free, seized the Dragon Head Pearl, and forced him to flee.
• Li Xia traded for Immortal Erku’s essence and had two Immortals purify and empower his Dragon Scale Fire-Tipped Spear.
• Totosai showed Li Xia and Sesshomaru that Kaguya had captured Inuyasha and turned him into a beast, so Sesshomaru asked Li Xia to join him against her.

Li Xia defeated Naraku, rebuilt Kanna, and began plans to protect the Shikon Jewel before marrying Kagome and reuniting Miroku with Koharu. Later, Sesshomaru prepared to face Kirinmaru, whose challenge drew Inuyasha into battle and awakened the demon power sealed within him.

• Li Xia and his allies entered the Mirror of Life, defeated Kaguya, and joined Midoriko, Kikyo, and Tōko in driving Naraku into battle.
• Sesshomaru destroyed Naraku’s body, while Li Xia sealed his remnant soul and rebuilt Kanna before contracting her as his eighth Shikigami.
• Li Xia returned to modern life with Kagome, and after studying together and passing their entrance exams, they married and settled into life together.
• Li Xia proposed to Midoriko that guardian mikos be preserved and revived to protect the Shikon Jewel, and she agreed to help free Naohi and Kagari.
• Li Xia and Kagome reunited with Miroku and helped him stop Koharu’s forced wedding, after which Miroku and Koharu confessed their feelings and reunited.
• Li Xia returned with Kagome to Mount Hakurei and offered to help Sesshomaru prepare for Kirinmaru by arranging battles with his Three Great Shikigami.
• Kirinmaru arrived at the Cloudtop Heavenly Palace and challenged Sesshomaru, while Shirō and the Four Perils confronted Inuyasha and the others.
• Kirinmaru forced Inuyasha into the fight, awakening the demon power sealed within him, but he overpowered both brothers when their teamwork failed and resolved to temper them further.
