Chisato Nishikigi was stranded in the wilderness, where she fought a Snake Demon and used Luo Shu’s Bracelet to locate her companions. Luo Shu met Kikyo near Kaede’s Village, judged that he was in Japan’s Warring States period, and headed for her shrine to wait for Chisato and Takina Inoue.
Kikyo worried over the growing monster attacks and a summons from Musashi Province’s lord, then sensed danger at her shrine. There, Luo Shu subdued and interrogated a giant wolf before Kikyo arrived to find it sobbing on the ground.
Luo Shu interrogated Gray Wolf about monsters gaining power by consuming human souls, then Kikyo killed the fleeing monster and confronted Luo Shu at the shrine. She allowed him to stay near Kaede's Village under certain conditions and told him to come up in an hour, leaving Luo Shu wondering whether she had invited him to join her bath.
Kikyo performed a purification ritual and discussed the Shikon Jewel and her duty to protect Kaede's Village with Luo Shu. After Kikyo refused to let him handle the jewel, Luo Shu asked to discuss having his companion stay at the shrine.
Chisato Nishikigi reached Luo Shu at a shrine in the Sengoku World and compared her findings about its monsters with his. They recognized the shrine as a connection point, met the miko Kikyo, and Luo Shu became suspicious when Tachibana Kirika said Ito had only just reported his arrival in the Abyss.
Luo Shu realized that time in the Abyss passed far faster than time in the outside world and worried that Hoshikagi Shirayuki was trapped there. Shirayuki remained in the underworld guarding Tessaiga, while Hosenki sought help from Totosai and the Western Lands’ dog demons to protect the sword.
Luo Shu and Chisato Nishikigi discovered that the Sengoku era had a thirty-to-one time difference, which suggested the world might be destroyed. Luo Shu explained the danger to Kikyo and agreed to tell her about their origins and the world’s future.
Biao Wenqi, Takina Inoue, and Yuki Onikawa traveled through the forest to meet Luo Shu and Chisato, agreeing to capture a half-demon for information about the Abyss. The three hid and set a trap for an oblivious half-demon boy approaching along a forest trail.
Inuyasha set out to obtain the Shikon Jewel but learned from Myoga about Tessaiga and his father’s tomb, where human Onmyoji were trying to steal the sword. Before he could reach the tomb, Biao Wenqi’s group captured him and Myoga, then took Inuyasha away to regroup with Club President Luo.
Luo Shu explained to Kikyo that the Abyss was consuming their era and that the monsters’ growing aggression came from their demonic power being drained. He revealed a possible ritual to stabilize the world but said it required a sacrifice of more than ten thousand people, leaving Kikyo to consider the crisis before they went to meet Takina and the others.
Luo Shu and the others learned that the half-demon they had captured was Inuyasha, the son of the Dog Clan’s former leader, and discovered that he was connected to the valuable sword Tessaiga. With three factions aware of him, Luo Shu faced a decision about what to do next.
Luo Shu explained Tessaiga’s limitations, prompting Biao Wenqi to withdraw and Yuki Onikawa to decline the Nura Clan’s claim. Luo Shu tried to recruit Inuyasha into SdS, but Inuyasha fled, and Chisato Nishikigi opened a case containing a mysterious machine.
Chisato Nishikigi demonstrated Shirogane’s space-cutting power to stop Inuyasha from escaping, and Luo Shu forced him to sign SdS’s contract. With Inuyasha now under SdS’s control, Luo Shu began discussing Tessaiga.
After Myoga revealed that Inuyasha carried the key to Toga’s grave, he warned Luo Shu that Onmyoji from the Onmyoryo had already entered it to seek Tessaiga. The group realized they had been beaten to the sword.
Luo Shu learned that an impostor Onmyoryo had become trapped in the Netherworld while trying to reach Toga’s grave, where Tessaiga was sealed. Myoga gave Luo Shu the Black Pearl key in exchange for Inuyasha’s safety, and Luo Shu opened the passage and set out with Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue to confront the Onmyoryo.
Yomi Isayama and Noriyuki Iijima discovered that Kuesu Jinguuji had used a Daimyo as a puppet and opened a passage to the Underworld. She requisitioned them to help Hoshikagi Shirayuki retrieve Tessaiga, and they entered the passage.
Sesshomaru learned that Tessaiga and his father’s grave were in the Netherworld, then entered the passage with Jaken after his mother warned him that Onmyoryo agents had infiltrated the grave. Luo Shu opened his eyes beneath the Netherworld’s still, lifeless sky.
Luo Shu's group reached Inu no Taisho's grave in the underworld, where their life force was rapidly being consumed, and discovered that Sesshomaru and others were approaching. Nearby, Yomi Isayama and Noriyuki Iizuna planned to exploit the distraction and escape with what they had found.
Luo Shu faced Sesshomaru and the Princess of the Lunar Reflection at Inu no Taisho's grave, where Sesshomaru challenged him to a fight. The chapter ended as Sesshomaru attacked Luo Shu with his claws.
Luo Shu and the Tactical Demon Gods ambushed Sesshomaru, cutting him in half and forcing the Princess of the Lunar Reflection to retreat with him and Jaken. Luo Shu obtained Tenseiga, and the group headed for Inu no Taisho’s remains to retrieve Tessaiga.
Yomi Isayama and Noriyuki Iizuna encountered the injured Princess of the Lunar Reflection, who captured Yomi and brought her to Sesshomaru. After Sesshomaru died and the Princess revived him with the Meido Stone, she agreed to Yomi’s request to kill Noriyuki before an attack interrupted her.
Princess of the Lunar Reflection clashed with Hoshikagi Shirayuki, then proposed joining forces to keep others from taking Tessaiga. Hoshikagi learned that the SdS team, led by the Black Reaper from the Secret Management Department, had already entered the tomb.
