• Luo Shu presented the scale of the Ghoul threat at Sakuradamon, and the major factions agreed to contribute personnel to a targeted extermination force.
• Eto Yoshimura tested Tokyo’s Ghouls by provoking a battle among them, while the Washuu Clan prepared to exploit the chaos and Kishou Arima turned against its leadership.
• Japan launched Operation Cleanup, with soldiers, Onmyoji, and Monsters killing Ghouls as Suzuka Dairenji attacked Aogiri Tree’s warehouse and Tokisaki Kurumi began devouring its occupants.
• Luo Shu and Natsuki Minamiya confronted Tokisaki Kurumi, but she escaped after his attacks forced her clones to retreat.

As he prepared to guide Mahiru Shiina toward becoming a Saint and accepted an invitation to the Fujiwara family dinner, Luo Shu decided to tell Lacus Clyne the truth about himself.

• Luo Shu brought Kisara to meet Eto Yoshimura and offered Aogiri Tree funding, training, Gene Adjustment, and a place under SdS, then asked Eto to approach Shizuka Hiou about accepting his protection.
• Shizuka Hiou refused to help Luo Shu challenge Ichijō Matoi, but considered his offer of protection, while Yukinoshita Yukino confronted Luo Shu about his secrecy and chose to join his Familia.
• Eto Yoshimura signed Luo Shu’s contract and awakened Devouring Evolution, then gained a Spell Formula after drinking mixed blood and received an order to make Shizuka Hiou sign or kill her.
• Tokisaki Kurumi investigated Luo Shu’s underground Secret Management Zone, learned he could return the third Sephira within her, and signed his contract, becoming a Demigod with the title Time Angel and the Class Mother of the Highest.
• Luo Shu introduced Mahiru Shiina to Sharon during a shopping trip, and Sharon later identified Mahiru as a potential Saint, and Luo Shu approved a plan to guide her in the Holy Practitioner system.
• Luo Shu learned that Shizuka Hiou had joined his Familia and awakened the blood clan Class, then accepted Minister Fujiwara’s invitation to a family dinner.
• Luo Shu discussed his upcoming date with Lacus Clyne and decided to tell her the truth while their honeymoon period lasted.

Luo Shu brought Lacus Clyne into his Familia and worked with her to strengthen SDS while preparations began for his advancement. When a prolonged Abyss descent at Higurashi Shrine drew supernatural factions from across Japan, Luo Shu entered the Abyss and encountered Kikyo.

• Luo Shu learned from Tokisaki Kurumi that Lacus Clyne would die after joining his Familia, and Lacus identified the Kusanagi Sword as the likely cause.
• Luo Shu had Lacus sign the Familia contract, and the Kusanagi Sword’s spirit appeared before his throne subdued it and Lacus awakened Swordlight Spirit Manifestation.
• Lacus Clyne, Him, and Tachibana Kirika discussed advancing Luo Shu and developing SDS, including its Demon God project and the management of Abyssal Artifacts.
• Luo Shu learned that a Divine General had disappeared during an unusually long Abyss descent at Higurashi Shrine and joined the operation with Chisato Nishishigi, Takina Inoue, and Tokisaki Kurumi’s clones.
• At Higurashi Shrine, Luo Shu and the arriving factions prepared to enter the Abyss, while the black mist spread around the Sacred Tree.
• Luo Shu entered the Abyss, found a village of emaciated people, and tracked Chisato and Takina with their transmitter bracelets.
• A giant wolf collapsed after Luo Shu used Calamity Bestowal, and a shrine maiden killed it before Luo Shu recognized her as Kikyo.
