Edward Vaughan helped bring about the True Creator’s descent in Tingen, causing thousands of deaths before Ouroboros reset the city and Edward escaped. As Klein and the survivors moved on, Edward joined the True Creator’s efforts in Backlund while the Aurora Order and other factions pursued new schemes.

• Edward Vaughan used a soulless device to enter Earth, adopted the identity of Edward Vaughan, and secretly rose to Sequence Two while founding the Devil Faction.
• Edward Vaughan met Fors Wall, Xio, and Qilingus, drove Qilingus away, and later watched the Nighthawks as Ince Zangwill manipulated events in Tingen.
• Richard Ernst helped expose and kill Qilingus, while Klein read Roselle’s diary and learned that Qilingus had been reported dead.
• Edward Vaughan recognized Megose as carrying the True Creator’s child, then used his control over Dunn to help the True Creator descend in Tingen.
• Ouroboros rebooted Tingen after Edward took the child and escaped, but the reset did not save those who had already died, and Ince Zangwill stole the Urn.

Edward’s long entanglement with Roselle and the forces behind his downfall unfolded alongside Klein’s hunt for Lanevus and advancement in Backlund. Edward continued investigating the past and the Abyss while Klein, Richard, and their allies faced new dangers.

• Edward learned that Roselle had returned to Earth, confronted him, and later watched his corruption and death before leaving Intis for the Southern Continent.
• Klein tracked Lanevus, learned he possessed the True Creator’s divinity, and killed him after the Church of Evernight destroyed the divine flesh.
• Edward revealed Amon’s connection to the Hermits of Fate, while Richard brought Alia to stay at Edward’s villa and reported growing Rose School activity.
• Edward offered Richard money to collect Roselle’s diaries and investigate the Abyss, then tasked Maria with sacrificing Capim’s soul to him.
• Klein obtained the remaining ingredients and advanced to Sequence 7, while Edward survived Zaratul’s attempt to control him and killed the Holy Light Angel during the battle at White Maple Palace.

Klein investigated the kidnappings linked to Capim while Maria and Mr. A moved against the mansion, and the clash drew Edward into a devastating intervention. The children were rescued and Doctor Blake freed, while Edward gave Maria a powerful Beyonder characteristic and warned that war was coming.

• The Monarch of Decay demanded compensation from the True Creator, while Klein stored dangerous artifacts above the gray fog and reviewed his latest leads.
• Maria refused to hand children over to Capim’s people, and Mr. Z killed a gang leader after discovering that the promised gift was trafficked girls.
• Klein learned that children and girls were disappearing in the East Borough, and Maria asked him to investigate Capim’s mansion in exchange for payment.
• Klein accepted Maria’s commission, learned from Old Kohler about Liv’s missing daughter, and discovered that Capim Villa held several dangerous Beyonders.
• Mr. A infiltrated Capim’s operation while Klein confronted Harras, and Klein’s explosion destroyed the dining room and killed the Beyonders inside.

Klein became the target of Jason Beria’s revenge while Edward and Amon pursued their own plans around the Aurora Order and the Beria Family. The arc ended with Jason’s location known but his larger target still unclear, as Edward and Amon moved to intercept a fleeing man.

• Klein sent Derrick the All-Black Eye, and Derrick exposed the exploration team’s abnormalities before delivering it to Mr. Fool.
• Arkatulia Winter reshaped his dead planet and named himself the Ruler of Withering, the King of Decline, and the Final Journey of all life.
• Richard’s expedition encountered the Abyss, where he resisted corruption, escaped a mysterious voice, and altered his crew’s memories of the voyage.
• Klein was arrested after Isengard Stanton’s assistant was murdered, and Edward identified the attacker as Jason Beria, a Desire Apostle.
• Jason Beria’s threats drove Klein to gather detectives and consult Isengard, while Edward learned that the Beria Family had prepared a trap for him.
• Edward visited the Aurora Order with Amon, asked Kisma to advance his sacrificial rite, and prayed with him to the True Creator.
