Audrey returned to the Highlands as Klein confronted the God of Thunder and the gods fought over the fate of the world. Antigonus awakened as the Half-Fool, Feynapotter fell under Loen’s rule, and Klein continued seeking a way to advance toward godhood.

• Audrey accepted Letty Orr as part of herself, completed her Dreamwalker potion digestion, and returned to the Highlands to help its people.
• Klein took Bethel Abraham’s body to complete the Door apotheosis ritual, then sealed the doors and seals it had affected while Audrey advanced to Manipulator.
• Klein rescued Richard and challenged the God of Thunder, while the Mother of Heaven and Antigonus fought Salinger over the River of Eternal Darkness.
• Amon stole Pallez’s Sequence One characteristic, while Klein and Bethel evaded the God of Thunder and learned that Antigonus was beginning to wake.
• Antigonus awakened as the Half-Fool and charged toward Calderón, where the God of Combat fought him and Salinger took the Mother of Heaven’s characteristics and Uniqueness.
• Lilith joined Leodero’s camp, and his lightning devastated Feynapotter as its population fell and Loen prepared to incorporate the country.

Klein faced the Lord of the Mysteries’ will while Antigonus helped him defeat Badheil and surrender his consciousness. As Klein began advancing to Attendant of Mysteries, the ritual failed and he created a hidden town of marionettes to slow his merging with the Spirit World, leaving his survival uncertain.

• Stalin Sammer and Luke converted to the Church of the Storm, while inspectors found Benson and Melissa and revealed evidence that Klein might still be alive.
• Klein and Bethel fought alongside Antigonus against the God of Combat, while the Lord of the Mysteries offered Klein power in exchange for accepting its will.
• Klein spoke to Benson through a prayer and told him that Klein Moretti was dead, then rejected escape and resolved to oppose Amon.
• Klein returned to Sefirah Castle, greeted the Tarot Club, and summoned Antigonus, who agreed to die and let Klein take his characteristics and Uniqueness.
• Antigonus used Sefirah Castle to help Bethel attack Badheil, while Klein sealed the Scroll of God and exposed Badheil to the Mother Goddess of Depravity’s corruption.
• Klein made Antigonus his marionette and sent his consciousness into the Historical Void, then drank the Attendant of Mysteries potion and began advancing.

As Klein prepared Utopia and brought the City of Silver and Moon City toward Feysac, Audrey joined God Almighty’s Church despite her ties to the Fool. The Tarot Club learned that the Fool and God Almighty were enemies, and Audrey left the gathering committed to her choice.

• Bethel failed to seal the Scroll of God, made two Grade 0 Sealed Artifacts for his descendants, and departed for Trier after resealing Calderón.
• Fors joined the Abraham Family’s welcoming ceremony, where Dorian gave her a Traveler characteristic and Bethel recognized her connection to Sefirah Castle.
• Audrey met Hermes, received a Divine Revelation during her baptism, and began considering a conversion to God Almighty’s Church.
• Edward’s efforts to provoke unrest led a farmer to kill a Mandated Punisher after the Church confiscated the gold coin Edward had given him.
• Klein and Ouroboros built Utopia’s identities and infrastructure, while Klein arranged for Medici to help him take Feysac and bring the City of Silver and Moon City there.
• At the Tarot Club meeting, Klein revealed that the Moon and Planter pathways came from the starry sky and told Derrick and Alger to establish the Fool’s Church in Feysac.
• Audrey said she had converted to God Almighty and chose to remain with his Church after Klein revealed that God Almighty had killed the Creator and was his enemy.

Klein established a new home for the people of the Forsaken Land of the Gods while Emlyn and Audrey confronted growing hostility in Backlund. In Balam, Haiter sacrificed Azik to advance the river project, while the Fool answered his followers’ prayers by curing their deformities.

• Audrey joined the Psychology Alchemists and the Twilight Hermit Order, and Hermes assigned her to investigate missing members and a Mind Dragon’s influence.
• Emlyn defended Feynapotter believers against the Church of the Storm and recognized that a powerful influence was amplifying hatred in Backlund.
• Klein relocated Moon City and the City of Silver to a newly created coastal city, where Zaratul offered his service to the Fool and helped the survivors settle.
• Medici instructed Hilda to encourage discreet Sea God worship and spread word of an approaching holy war as he sought support for war against Loen.
