George III’s apotheosis failed amid the war and the Black Emperor’s return, while Edward pursued Klein and Amon seized Sefirah Castle. Klein survived, returned to Backlund, and stayed in Loen as Medici and Richard traveled to the Southern Continent.

• Klein discovered that George III had hidden himself while beginning his ritual, but Zaratul trapped Klein and the Black Emperor emerged as catastrophes struck the mausoleums.
• Trissy rejected George III, used the Primordial Demoness’s power against him, and plunged into the mausoleum, while Roselle broke free of his bindings and dissolved into red moonlight.
• Benson comforted Melissa after young Thomas died in action, while the royal family fell and Gade II temporarily took the throne.
• Edward refused to help the Demon of Knowledge and later told Medici that the Creator’s return would turn humanity into livestock, then left to find Klein.
• Klein prepared to flee Zaratul and Amon, but Edward attacked him, and Klein escaped through the Historical Void, and Edward killed Zaratul before pursuing him again.
• Klein summoned Amon in a dream and offered Sefirah Castle, but Amon used their conversation to seize partial control of it, and Edward then shot Klein at the border, and Medici later found him alive.
• Edward showed Klein and Medici a prosperous society under God Almighty and revealed that the True Creator wanted Klein to stop his transformation, but Klein refused the society’s lack of choice and escaped Edward’s attack with Leodero’s lightning.
• Klein returned to Backlund and met Richard and Medici, chose to remain at Sequence 3, and stayed in Loen while Richard took Medici to the Southern Continent.

Klein traveled into the Eastern Continent with Hermes and Medici to find Moon City and lead its survivors out, while Amon’s Avatars threatened the mission from within. He revealed the truth about the Creator and began guiding Moon City toward the Fool, but discovered that one Amon Avatar remained behind after the others left.

• Klein contacted Ms. D and asked for Leomaster’s notes on the route into the Eastern Continent, then Hermes agreed to accompany him.
• Hermes and Medici led Klein through the Black Monastery and the Giant King’s Court, and the three entered the Eastern Continent to seek Moon City.
• Klein learned that Amon had likely turned Moon City’s High Priest Nim into an Avatar, but chose to approach the survivors as an ordinary Sequence 3 Beyonder and an envoy of the Fool.
• Klein introduced himself to Moon City’s explorers, healed them, and promised to help the people of Moon City and the City of Silver find a way out.
• Klein reached the gray fog barrier and learned from Nim that Moon City had guarded it for 3,722 years, then told the residents that their Creator had fallen and entrusted them to the Fool.
• Klein heard the gray fog answer a ritual with the words “Celestial Worthy of Heaven and Earth for Blessings,” while Nim began explaining the truth about their faith to Moon City.
• Klein discovered that Amon Avatars had infiltrated Moon City, learned that Kotar had appeared near a vanished hill on the day he entered Sefirah Castle, and used the Radiant Cross to ease the residents’ suffering.
• After sending Nim and the others back, Klein noticed that one resident was missing and confronted a hidden Amon Avatar he accused of deceiving him and exposing the other Avatars.

Klein purified Moon City but was captured by Amon, who then parasitized much of the City of Silver. With Ouroboros freezing the victims’ lives and fates, Klein led a group into the Giant King's Court to seek a way out, only to become trapped in the darkness beyond its doorway.

• Klein learned that Kotar possessed a Sequence One potion and divined that the curtain had fallen from Sefirah Castle before Kotar seized it.
• Klein completed Moon City’s ceremony, exposed Amon’s parasitized victims, and used the Fool’s power and the Life Walking Stick to heal the residents, but Amon took control of him.
• Amon led Klein through the Forsaken Land of the Gods, revealed that the Sun God had been God Almighty’s vessel, and confirmed that Chernobyl was the ruined world Klein once called home.
• Medici killed Amon’s avatar and gave Klein a Worm of Time, while Klein discovered that Amon had deeply parasitized much of Moon City and the City of Silver.
• Ouroboros froze the City of Silver’s residents to stop Amon’s preparations, and Klein learned that breaking Derrick’s deep parasitism would turn him into Amon and kill him.
• Klein discovered that the City of Silver’s Sealed Artifact, the Gift of the Land, was Omebella’s remains, then joined Colin Iliad, Lovia, and Medici on an expedition to the Giant King's Court.
• The group entered the Giant King's Court, where an ancient presence overwhelmed them, Klein lost his shadow, and Enuni returned corrupted by the Dark Angel and speaking in the Ancient Sun God’s voice.
• Klein, Colin, Lovia, and Medici entered the darkness beyond the palace doorway, but Klein found the Spirit World and Historical Void cut off, and the doorway vanished before they could leave.

Klein defeated God Almighty’s influence, advanced, and helped the City of Silver and Moon City’s people reach the outside world. As the refugees began a new life, disasters spread across the world, and Klein learned that saving Richard meant protecting the Highlands Republic.

• Klein resisted God Almighty’s offer of paradise, and Colin Iliad, Lovia, and Medici fought Sasrir while the Demon of Knowledge recorded and erased the people of Moon City and the City of Silver.
• Klein severed the first Blasphemy Slate’s connection to Sasrir, merged with the Miracle Invoker characteristic, and advanced to Sequence Two as the Demon of Knowledge restored the erased people.
• Klein reunited the survivors, fulfilled Derrick’s wish by restoring missing residents, and helped lead the City of Silver and Moon City’s people to an island where Cattleya and Alger welcomed them.
• Klein learned from the Lights and the Demon of Knowledge about the Outer Deities, the approaching apocalypse, and the Monarch of Decay, then recognized the celebrating refugees as his anchors.
• Klein sent refugees toward a new home and wrote to Azik, while the sea and storms devastated the Highlands and Audrey stayed to rescue people at the hospital and in the flooded towns.
• Audrey told Richard she wanted to understand herself and help others, and Richard left her with Taufik before vanishing into the Spirit World and encountering strange figures and signs.
• Edward told Traynor he planned to take him to the Starry Sky and clear out humanity, while Klein learned from the Lord of Withering that saving Richard required protecting the Highlands Republic.
• Fors witnessed Backlund’s worsening hardship as Botis waited at the Hall mansion, while Sharron and Maric rescued flood victims and Taufik carried Audrey toward a sealed passage, where they encountered Saint Anthony.
