A dozen minutes later, Klein returned to the temporary rest stop, his face pale.

"Is it that serious?" Elland looked at him with concern, stood up and handed him a glass of water. "Why don't you go back to the Inn and rest?"

"No need," Klein said succinctly, taking the water glass.

He sat back down next to Danitz, inwardly chuckling bitterly. His stomachache earlier had been faked, but his current state was anything but.

Just now, when he was Sacrifice to "Sea God" Kalvetua, that guy went crazy and almost sucked himself into the illusory Portal!

If I hadn't handled things properly, the Gray Fog might already have a new owner—who knows if I could ever be resurrected again.

"If that's the case, I'm afraid all the members of the Tarot Club will suffer..." Klein joked, trying to find humor in the situation, feeling much more relaxed than before.

He munched on the less-than-ideal bread, rinsing it with water as he swallowed, determined to treat himself well after this was all over.

About ten minutes later, Elland was the first to stand up.

Immediately, seven or eight people nearby got up and continued their morning's work, conducting a thorough search of the area they were responsible for.

It was 2:40 PM.

Klein used his "Clown" ability again, pretending to have an upset stomach, and after greeting Elland, walked alone towards the nearby Inn.

Holding the key, he entered the temporary room, quickly locked the door and the Washroom door, and walked four steps backward in the narrow space, arriving Above the Gray Fog.

There was still time before three o'clock, so I decided to do a divination about Kalvetua's situation... With nothing else to do, Klein conjured a coin and whispered the divination phrase:

"Kalvetua is completely dead."

After seven attempts, he flicked the coin with his finger and caught it steadily in his hand.

Turn it up!

This indicates a negative!

"Sea God" Kalvetua is not completely dead!

"What incredible resilience..." Klein grumbled, then waited a few more minutes before notifying the little "Sun" as usual.

Having already left Backlund and returned to her Family Estate, "Justice" Audrey experienced a moment of illusion before her eyes, finding herself once again in the Gray Fog World.

She lifted her skirt slightly, turned her head to look at the "Fool" at the head of the Bronze Long Table, and greeted him in a light and cheerful tone:

Good afternoon, Mr. Fool.

Then, as was her custom, she greeted the other members in turn.

"Mr. Sun Advancement?" "Justice" Audrey easily observed the member's overflowing Spirituality, a normal reaction for someone who had just Advancement.

But I am still a "Telepathist" and all I lack right now is the "Mirror Dragon's Eye"... Thinking this, she couldn't help but look sadly at the person beside her.

Miss Magician, my dear friend, where are the "Mirror Dragon's Eye"?

At this moment, Klein "Fool" sitting at the head of the Bronze Long Table, glanced at the two ladies and asked himself the same question.

Miss Magician, where is my Wireless Telegraph?

This was a request he made at the last gathering.

With this thought flashing through his mind, Klein saw that no one had submitted Roselle's Diary this time, and that "The Sun" and "The Moon" hadn't made any moves either. He chuckled and said:

"You may begin."

As soon as she finished speaking, "Justice" Audrey glanced at the "Sun" opposite her with envy, and couldn't help but tilt her head slightly:

"Miss Magician, have you obtained the ' Mirror Dragon's Eye '?"

Last night, Fors tried to draw inspiration from classic literature and before she knew it, it was dawn. She ate the Breakfast that Hugh had bought before hurriedly going to bed. She didn't rest for long before getting up again to attend the Tarot Club. Now she was extremely sleepy and was thinking of taking a nap to get through the night, but as soon as she came online, someone asked her a question.

"Uh, not yet..." she explained with a dry laugh, "My teacher and I usually communicate by letter, which is rather inefficient."

The understanding and Justice Audrey didn't make things difficult for her friend, and nodded gently, saying, "Alright, I hope you can get it soon."

After saying that, she looked around to indicate that she had no other needs.

"The Hanged Man" Alger immediately followed up. "Miss Magician, is there any news about the Dragon-Eyed Sea Eagle's eyeball?"

Fors hadn't expected the second matter to be related to her, and shook her head numbly. "I haven't received a reply from the teacher yet."

Alger, the "Hanged Man," nodded upon hearing this and said nothing more.

"Mr. ' The Hanged Man,' thank you for your suggestion. I've decided to purchase the Sanguine Baron trait," Moon Emlyn.

Alger, the "Hanged Man," his eyes gleaming, lowered his voice and hummed in agreement. "I'll contact that Great Pirate as soon as possible."

"Thank Moon." Emlyn nodded politely.

The look in Mr. Hanged Man's eyes just now... it was like Susie seeing her prey... "Justice" Audrey couldn't help but let her imagination run wild.

She has been staying on the Family Estate during this time, and often takes her dog to play in the fields.

Hugh is smarter than this guy... Fors muttered to himself, and was about to relax for a moment when he suddenly heard someone calling his name.

She looked in the direction of the sound, her gaze shifting to directly opposite Mr. Fool.

Klein manipulated the "World" dummy, uttering a hoarse, sinister voice. "Miss ' Magician,' have you purchased Wireless Telegraph?"

Uh... why is it me again... Fors felt that everyone else was waiting for his answer, but this time he couldn't use the excuse of inconvenient communication.

She had a sudden inspiration and said:

"Hmm... I just found out about them this morning. I'll ask Mr. ' Fool ' to pass on the message later, and you can choose which model to buy."

After saying that, she silently added in her mind:

"In fact, I received a reply from that fellow science fiction writer quite early on, but as you know, Mr. 'World':"

"The winters in Backlund are so cold... Sorry, I'll go buy it today, uh, not today, I need to catch up on sleep, I'll definitely go tomorrow!"

"I just found out this morning? What a coincidence!" Under the cover of the Gray Fog, "Fool" Klein quietly tossed a coin for divination.

Turn it up!

Sure enough... she wouldn't be too lazy to go out because of the cold... he thought to himself irritably, while the dummy controlling the "world" coldly said:

"No need to pick and choose, just buy the most expensive one."

"... Okay." Fors felt inexplicably uncomfortable, gave an awkward laugh, and assured, "I can get it to you tomorrow, no, the day after tomorrow at the latest."

"The World" paused for two seconds, then spoke in a hoarse voice:

"Good."

After the words were spoken, the air fell silent.

"The Fool" Klein glanced around, then tapped the table and said:

"Let's have a free exchange."

Bayam, in the Washroom.

I didn't expect this party to end so quickly... Thinking this, Klein pulled up his pants and reached out to press the flush button.

He took out his Pocket Watch, glanced at the time, put on his coat, and went outside.

He continued searching... but he didn't know when he would find them, or how much longer Kalvetua could hold out... Klein pondered as he walked.
