The Death Announcer
Edwina was silent for a few seconds, then looked at the White Bone Ring on his finger:
You probably don't want to create Mystical Item.
"Is it related to the teacher?"
Lorry hummed in agreement, without denying it.
"I'm sorry, I can't grant your request right now." Edwina shook her head without hesitation, then after a moment's thought, added:
This violates the Notarization that he and I signed at the time.
"However, if you tell me what you need the ' Artisan ' for, I can try to contact him as soon as possible and inquire about his personal wishes."
Seeing the other party's difficulty, Lorry didn't press the matter. After exchanging a few words with Sebastian in his mind, he said, "Buy some of his blood for research."
Seeing that the "Vice Admiral Iceberg" frowned immediately after hearing this, he quickly added:
"He can handle the Mysticism connections in his blood on his own, and I believe a ' Artisan ' should be able to do that."
"As long as the Spirituality of the blood itself is not damaged."
Edwina glanced at the White Bone Ring again, then nodded slightly and said, "I will tell him the truth."
"But I must warn you in advance that the chances of him agreeing are very low—he's not exactly short of money, nor is he the type to frequently cause trouble for himself."
Lorry groaned, enduring the sudden, throbbing pain within his body, and smiled slightly:
"Understand.
"No matter the outcome, my teacher and I will remember your help."
--That's how he introduced himself when he first contacted "Vice Admiral Iceberg".
Of course, their actual relationship could also be described as that of teacher and student, as Lorry showed the old man ample respect from beginning to end.
Edwina nodded, then changed the subject to Norgar Island: "If nothing unexpected happens on the rest of the journey, we will arrive nearby in about two weeks."
"Since your goal is to digest the ' Mystery Pryer ' Potion, you will lead this exploration, and I will assist you from the side."
"Half a month isn't a long time. You need to use this time to determine the initial direction of the investigation and assign tasks to everyone."
She paused briefly, then continued:
"Once you've finalized the plan, remember to bring it to me for a look. Also, don't hesitate to ask if you need any help."
"In fact, I'm already doing this." Lorry smiled and thanked "Vice Admiral Iceberg," then told him about his current ideas.
Night fell quickly.
Danitz declined "Tinplate" and "Bucket's " invitation to drink and boast with the Sailor, and walked into the Pirate Restaurant expressionlessly.
A moment later, he took his tray and found a seat by the window, drinking his Beer with a melancholy mood while carefully observing everyone passing by outside.
Dogshit! Why is he going to find the captain again? Didn't the tutoring session end several days ago?! It's been over an hour, why isn't he out yet?
Similar thoughts popped into his head, making Danitz lose all interest in his usual favorite foods and Beer.
Suddenly, his eyes lit up as he saw the figure of that pile of Dogshit drift by.
Finally out... Danitz couldn't help but let out a long sigh of relief, feeling an overwhelming hunger that desperately needed food to fill his stomach.
Just as he was about to start eating, he suddenly caught a glimpse of the slightly unnatural walking posture of the person outside the window. He was slightly taken aback, and his expression instantly Distortion.
The same thought kept echoing in his mind, "More than an hour... more than an hour..."
Danitz didn't know what had gotten into him, but on a whim, he stood up, jumped out of the window, and in a few steps caught up with and stopped the other person.
"Stop right there!"
Lorry frowned and glanced at the Great Pirate "Flames":
"Is there something you need?"
His tone was slightly impatient.
Of course, this had little to do with someone suddenly jumping out and stopping him while he was walking along the road; it was mainly because he wasn't feeling well.
Simply put, the process of resolving blood stasis is quite Affliction, even more so than before, before drinking the medicinal soup.
"Vice Admiral Iceberg" explained that this was a sign that the medicine was working, and that the discomfort would disappear if he persisted for a few hours.
Sweeping across him with that gloomy gaze, Danitz felt a chill run down his spine. His inexplicable courage vanished just as quickly, and after a couple of seconds of stunned silence, he awkwardly said:
"No, it's nothing. I just happened to notice that your walking posture seemed a bit off, so I came over to ask if you needed any help."
"Making a fuss over nothing, just a tiny bit of a side effect of the secret technique and the medicinal soup... Besides, what help can you offer? Carry me down? You might be willing, but I'm not..." Muttering a few curses to himself about the Great Pirate "Flames," Lorry gently shook his head and refused the other party's offer. "No..."
The words had barely left his mouth when he suddenly remembered something:
My room isn't cleaned yet!
The ritual altar, the bloodstains on the ground, the scraps of discarded materials... Thinking of this, Lorry immediately and subtly changed his tune:
"Need.
"Come with me."
Danitz: "..."
He followed behind, his mouth twitching, his heart filled with bitterness, his gaze constantly sweeping up and down, and he asked Lorry what was going on, pretending to be casual.
Of course, Lorry wouldn't tell the Fourth Sailor-in-Charge about the secret technique.
Coupled with the constant stabbing pain within his body, he was in no mood to speak, so he made up an excuse. "I'm a little tired."
A little tired... Danitz's vision went black, and he took a deep breath and said:
"And what about the captain?"
Why hasn't she come down for dinner?
What is all this about...? How did this get to Edwina again...? What's wrong with this guy's brain...? Lorry said, utterly speechless.
"She's a little tired too, she might go down to eat later."
That's the truth.
During their casual conversation while waiting for the medicine to be brewed, he overheard her mention that she had tried making Charm several times that afternoon, which had depleted her Spirituality energy.
After answering the second pointless question, Lorry decided to tell Danitz directly that he wasn't feeling well and needed some quiet time.
Just as he was about to speak, he suddenly turned his head to look at the darkness in the distance.
Danitz was taken aback and quickly asked:
"What's wrong?"
Lorry stared in that direction for a few seconds, his face ashen, then, suppressing his discomfort, quickly took a Charm from his pocket.
Infused with Spirituality, the Mercury Charm burst forth with light. Without hesitation, Lorry placed it to his lips and uttered a deep, resonant command:
"Enemy attack!" "Enemy attack!"
"Everyone back to your posts, prepare for battle!"
A tremendous sound echoed repeatedly throughout the entire "Golden Dream," with the decks, cabins, and Pirate Restaurant erupting in chaos almost simultaneously.
The Sailor moved nimbly among their comrades.
"Where are the enemies?" Danitz paused, about to ask the question, when suddenly his gaze sharpened as he caught sight of a giant shadow approaching from the darkness.
It was a sinister, dark, and enormous creature.
