Agalito's persistence

Edwina glanced at "Gourmet" Bru Wall, who nodded knowingly, and said to everyone, "To the helm!"

The key to controlling the "Wind-blessed Sail" lies in this place.

Before the words were even finished, everyone's faces paled slightly, and they rushed over there in a hurry. The atmosphere was tense, far from the relaxed mood it had been just moments before.

Even the Great Pirate "Flames" stopped swearing.

Clearly, the "King of Immortality's " relentless pursuit put immense psychological pressure on the crew of the "Golden Dream".

Lorry deliberately slowed his pace to get closer to Edwina.

He lowered his voice and asked, "Would it be even more effective if you controlled the Wind-blessed Sail? I've made some Charm for restoring Spirituality before."

While the "Spirituality Restoration" Charm made from Demigod materials is indeed precious, and even he himself tries to save as much as possible, now is clearly not the time to care about such things.

Edwina paused briefly, glanced at him sideways, and instead of answering, asked, "The ' Spirituality Restoration ' Charm your teacher taught you?"

After saying that, without waiting for Lorry's reply, she smiled and said, "I also have that, and there are other ways to restore Spirituality, but the poor condition I'm referring to isn't just about Spirituality."

"Don't worry about Bru not doing a good job; he's led this many times before."

Having said that, Lorry said nothing more, nodded slightly, and prepared to go ahead and catch up with Danitz and the others.

Just then, he heard the voice of "Vice Admiral Iceberg": "Made from those scales?"

The scales she mentioned refer to Spirituality rich materials left behind by the "Sea God" Kalvetua, which mostly exist in the form of scales.

Lorry hummed in agreement and smiled, "If I have any left over when the journey ends, I can use it to pay for the fare."

Edwina shook her head almost imperceptibly and explained, "That's not what I meant."

"Just out of pure curiosity, what is the limit to the Spirituality that a ' Spirituality Restoration ' Charm made from materials of this level can contain?"

How could I have known? I was only Sequence 7 before, and even with some Spirituality power, I was at most equivalent to Sequence 6. How could I possibly have grasped the limits of Demigod- level materials? Besides, "Sea God" Kalvetua was only Sequence 3.

I can only tell you that a "Spirituality Restoration" Charm made from about a quarter of a scale can instantly replenish the entire Spirituality of a Sequence 6 Beyonder.

With that thought in mind, Lorry smiled and said, "Since you're interested in this question, why not try to research it yourself? That would make the answer much more meaningful, wouldn't it?"

"I can change the payment for the ship's fare to payment for materials."

Edwina paused for two seconds, then pursed her lips and said, "Okay."

After saying that, she didn't speak again, standing still and watching Lorry's figure gradually accelerate as he caught up with Danitz and the others ahead.

By this time, no one else was lingering near the main gun. Edwina's pursed lips subtly curled upwards, and she couldn't help but laugh, "If you don't know, just say you don't know. Making up a bunch of weird things to fool people is just like your old teacher, Sebastian— "

"Of course, I also have my issues, because based on his previous behavior, I subconsciously overlooked the fact that his level is only Sequence 7 ----"

After thinking it over, she took a deep breath and hurried toward the helm.

Looking back at the enormous creature that was relentlessly pursuing them in the darkness, rapidly closing the distance, "Gourmet" Bru Wall commanded in a deep voice, "Infuse with Spirituality!"

As soon as the words were spoken, the Beyonder, including "Vice Admiral Iceberg" Edwina and Lorry, reached out and touched the huge Golden Rudder.

In an instant, a large amount of Spirituality surged into it, flowing along an invisible Mysticism channel into the small steering wheel in Bru Wall's hand.

The latter can normally pilot the "Golden Dream," but it is also one of the core components controlling the "Wind-blessed Sail."

The Golden Rudder is another core component, primarily used to carry Spirituality.

Ten seconds later, the passage stabilized.

Bru Wall took a deep breath and uttered a single word in Ancient Hermes: "Fly!"

As soon as he finished speaking, the "Golden Dream," which was tens of meters long, suddenly shuddered and then seemed to grow wings, leaving the sea and flying into the air.

It traced a graceful half-arc as it flew into the distant darkness, leaving the rapidly sailing "Death Announcer" far behind.

Meanwhile, on the deck of the "Death Announcer".

The First Mate, "Ghost Butcher," the second mate, "Slayer," and the others exchanged glances, then looked in unison at the pale, seemingly decaying middle-aged man before them. "Captain, the ' Golden Dream ' has escaped, we—"

"The King of Immortality" Agalito remained silent for a few moments, his voice cold and deep. "Sacrifice the prisoners for Lord ' Death Announcer ' and continue the pursuit."

"The Golden Dream's' flight mode cannot last. I have already sown the Seed of Desire; they cannot escape."

"However," Vice Admiral Iceberg " had the backing of the God of Knowledge and Wisdom— " First Mate "Ghost Butcher" mustered up the courage to persuade him, but before he could finish speaking, he was met with a cold glance from "King of Immortality" Agalito, who suddenly turned around. He immediately felt a chill run down his spine, and the courage he had mustered vanished.

"The King of Immortality" Agalito surveyed the surroundings and snorted, "At all costs, catch up with the Golden Dream!"

"This is not only my will, but also the will of the great ' Death Announcer '!"

As the words fell, a thick black mist filled the gaps in the deck. "Ghost Butcher," "Slayer," and the others shuddered and knelt on one knee. "Your will is my will, the great ' Death Announcer '!"

Then they quickly got up and urged the Sailor to the Prison the prisoners were held.

The deck was instantly empty, with only Agalito remaining.

The "King of Immortality" silently gazed in the direction the "Golden Dream" had sailed away, a flush of excitement rising on his pale face.

He seemed to be conversing with some being, or perhaps whispering, "I too sense the Abyss's presence—"

Could the rumors be wrong, and the key Edwina found doesn't actually belong to Death, but rather to the great "Abyss"?

"What you think?"

Black mist silently spread out, and no sound came from the deck.

After completing the second half of its arc in the air, the "Golden Dream" landed steadily on the sea, instantly creating a wave that sent sprays of water nearly ten meters high.

At the Golden Rudder, the Beyonder, their faces pale, withdrew their hands and, like Bru Wall, who was piloting the "Wind-blessed Sail," abruptly turned to look behind them.

Seeing that the "Death Announcer" had not pursued them, everyone's spirits lifted.

The atmosphere eased slightly, and everyone visibly relaxed. A dozen or so less skilled Sailor plopped down on the ground, panting and laughing.
