Lorry paused for a moment, then quickly replied:

"Clear."

As the starlight gathered and entered the Spirit World, the configuration of "Singer" Orpheus's team naturally came to mind.

The four people in this group were all Beyonder extremely rich combat experience.

Orpheus, the second mate of the "Golden Dream," is Sequence 6 "Notary" from the "Sun" Pathway and is the temporary leader. The other three are Sequence 8 "Folk of Rage" from the "Sailor" Pathway, Sequence 8 "Pugilist" from the "Warrior" Pathway, and Sequence 8 "Beast Tamer" from the "Apothecary" Pathway.

With their capabilities, exploring a small, semi-colonial island shouldn't be a problem... Lorry's eyes flickered slightly as he collected his thoughts.

He wasted no more time and quickly got out of bed.

Soon, a series of loud knocks echoed in the long, quiet corridor on the second floor.

Danitz yawned as he opened the door, a puzzled look on his face.

"Didn't you say you'd get a good rest tonight, and tomorrow...?"

Before he could finish speaking, Lorry interrupted him in a deep voice, "Something has happened."

"Orpheus and his men have been attacked."

Danitz was stunned:

How could that be?

"Isn't the area they're responsible for just a small island? I remember the population, including the natives and immigrants from Intis, is less than ten thousand."

"That's how it is normally," Lorry countered. "But have you forgotten the information we heard on our first day in Norga?"

Danitz's eyes widened instantly. "You mean that group?"

"It's impossible to determine at the moment." With that, Lorry changed the subject:

"But one thing is certain: if you keep dawdling, we'll be collecting Orpheus and the others' bodies soon enough."

"... Ahem, I can leave right away." Danitz gave an awkward smile, knowing that now was not the time to discuss the reasons, and hurriedly ran back to his room.

He donned the "Shadow Cloak" draped over the headboard, picked up the Suitcase containing the "Flying Carpet" from the floor, and dashed towards the door like a whirlwind.

"I'm ready." Lorry nodded almost imperceptibly, put her hand on his shoulder, and took out a half-finished "Teleportation" Charm from her pocket with her other hand.

The destination is nearby, so there's no need to expend any more Spirituality.

Danitz's gaze was instantly drawn to the Silver Medal, his eyes filled with envy. "Is this the magical Charm you and the captain researched?"

As Lorry nodded slightly, he channeled his Spirituality into the "Teleportation" Silver Medal.

One second, two seconds, three seconds... The "Teleportation" Silver Medal suddenly burst forth with a halo of light, enveloping the two figures.

Immediately, they became ethereal and vanished from their spot in the blink of an eye.

Tarakha Island, deep in the Primeval Jungle.

Four figures darted rapidly through the darkness cast by the massive tree canopy.

Suddenly, a woman in the line exclaimed:

"Not good!

"Those little guys told me they'll catch up soon!"

She was the "Beast Tamer," possessing the ability to communicate with, control, and share the senses of animals; she was the eyes and ears of the group. As soon as she finished speaking, the "Beast Tamer," along with the other two, made the same gesture in unison, looking towards Orpheus in the center of the group.

This "Singer" with his sculpted features and brilliant blond hair was a far cry from the dashing figure he had on the "Golden Dream".

Her blonde hair was disheveled.

His face was pale, and there was blood at the corner of his mouth.

A spearhead-like object was deeply embedded in his shoulder, his right arm hung limply, and the joint between his upper and lower arm Distortion at an eerie angle.

Orpheus glanced around, his gaze sweeping over his three companions' faces. Suppressing his inner turmoil, he spoke in a calm voice:

"Continue the retreat. The distress call has been successful. Await rescue."

"The captain and... the captain has already developed a ' Teleportation ' Charm, and will soon be able to locate us quickly through the Spirit World."

His composure gave everyone a lot of confidence, and after a quick glance, they all nodded in agreement.

"Good."

The four then continued their escape.

The hot-tempered "Folk of Rage" clutched his bleeding left shoulder with his right hand, gritting his teeth as he snarled, "Those damned Thief! When the captain gets here, I'll break their limbs and sink them into the Fog Sea!"

"Shut up, what's the point of spouting threats now?" the "Beast Tamer" lady said irritably. "You'd be better off running faster than cursing them."

The "Folk of Rage" snorted and then fell silent.

The surroundings fell silent again, save for the soft crunching of their hurried footsteps on the thick layer of fallen leaves and twigs.

Half a minute later.

The "Folk of Rage," who had just been choked up, suddenly spoke up in a low voice, "By the way, isn't you the most dangerous person among us?"

"The worst that can happen to the three of us is death, being sunk into the icy sea by them."

"You're different..."

The "Beast Tamer" woman's body trembled slightly, and she lowered her voice to shout:

Do you want to die?!

"I shouldn't have let ' Finny ' save you! Even though it's just a Curly-Haired Baboon, at least it's more intelligent than you!"

As she finished speaking, her voice betrayed an overwhelming sadness. In the darkness, anger imperceptibly welled up on the face of the "Folk of Rage," but it quickly vanished, replaced by deep remorse and guilt.

Just as he was about to say something, Orpheus frowned and said:

"Alright, shut up, all of you!"

"Now is not the time for you two to argue."

Perhaps the movement of speaking aggravated his shoulder; his expression changed slightly, and he couldn't help but gasp. After a few seconds, he endured the pain and continued to ask:

How far are they?

The "Beast Tamer" woman gently shook her head:

"Have no idea.

"The little guys behind didn't see them."

Upon hearing this, the "Pugilist," who had remained silent throughout, suddenly spoke:

"Do you think it's possible that they were misled by the escape routes we deliberately created and chased in the Error direction?"

Orpheus thought for a moment and said, "That's certainly a good thing, but..." He stopped mid-sentence, his pupils suddenly dilating, and he shouted:

"Careful!"

In the darkness, a dozen sharp javelins suddenly shot towards them.

Whoosh whoosh!

The sharp whistling sound was like a death knell.

The crowd paled, some brandishing their weapons to block, others jumping aside to take cover.

"Holy Light!" Orpheus seized the opportunity and shouted in Ancient Hermes.

A Holy light suddenly descended from the sky, dispelling the surrounding darkness and allowing them to see the attacker's hiding place.

Fortunately, the most powerful one wasn't there; only a few Sequence 8 and Sequence 7 enemies were chasing after them... Orpheus quickly observed the enemy and secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, his gaze sharpened as he noticed something unusual about a certain shadow. Slightly startled, he abruptly realized what was happening and urgently warned:

"Be careful..."

Before the words were finished, a cold laugh echoed from the shadows, "Distortion!"

The javelins that should have been avoided were driven by an unseen force, suddenly changing direction with a sharp sonic boom just before they were about to pass by.
