The Sun Saint Emperor created the scripture around the characteristics of the Sun Physique. Possessing that physique is not stated to be a requirement, but practitioners with a matching constitution gain exceptional benefits. Although the Dao Scripture’s opening section has the stronger reputation for general foundation-building, the Sun True Scripture is especially suitable for Taiyi’s awakened ancestral bloodline 4.

The scripture’s texts for the five great secret realms have spread beyond their original custodians, while its secret techniques have not. Taiyi’s inheritance differs from ordinary textual transmission: its teachings manifest within his consciousness as his cultivation develops. Danyangzi attributes this bloodline inheritance to the Sun Saint Emperor’s extraordinary attainments 8 9 21.

Inherited Instruction

• A mysterious little golden figure explains the scripture’s verses and teaches Taiyi how to sense his Wheel of Life and open his Bitter Sea 3 4.
• Its instruction chiefly concerns the Sun True Scripture; Danyangzi supplies broader cultivation experience and formation knowledge that it does not cover 10.
• After the Dao Palace Scroll appears, the figure resumes teaching Taiyi the methods of that secret realm 21.
• In Chapter 9, Taiyi explicitly states that he has obtained only the Wheel Sea Scroll so far, despite Danyangzi describing his inheritance as complete 9.

Nine mysterious golden ancient characters embody the essence of the Sun True Scripture 26.

Sun God Fist

A supreme fist art explicitly recorded in the scripture, particularly suited to Taiyi’s Sun Sacred Body 30.

The scripture contains ancient methods for forging a personal Dao weapon and a principle comparable to the Dao Scripture’s “One Weapon Breaks Ten Thousand Techniques” 7.

• Resource demands: The scripture does not remove the immense resource requirements of Taiyi’s Sun Sacred Body. Rapid advancement still requires large quantities of source, precious herbs, and other treasures 5 21.
• No remedy for exhausted lifespan: Danyangzi states that obtaining the scripture would not prolong his remaining life; his condition requires a Medicine King or similarly rare medicine 8 9.
• Coveted inheritance: Danyangzi warns that great powers may seek to seize the scripture or eliminate Taiyi before he overshadows their heirs 8.
