At the market, Heath deftly bought some ingredients he needed. But considering what he had promised Cynthia yesterday, he bought some extra chicken. He would make it into fried chicken bites, a dish called karaage in the island nation. It was a distinctive dish that went very well with alcohol, could be eaten as a snack, and could even serve as a meal.
After picking up some crabs for Farfetch'd to make crab roe buns, Heath returned to the food truck with his Pokémon, set the autopilot, and began preparing today's breakfast.
Of course, Heath had not forgotten what he needed to make. He had triggered a special quest yesterday, and now he planned to work on it every day. He wondered what strange rewards he might receive after ten days. Heath was very curious about that. If he could get something to repair the Anywhere Door, he would be grinning from ear to ear.
Ever since he had received the Anywhere Door as a reward from Palkia, it had never been of any use. After all, its side effects were very apparent: there was a high chance it would teleport him somewhere strange. Heath had no intention of testing his luck.
But if he could repair it, his travel plans would become much more convenient. He could open the Anywhere Door and take the food truck through, swiftly reaching the next city and saving most of the travel time in between.
For today's breakfast, Heath made the Da Su Beef Noodles he had made before. He wanted to see whether they could meet the requirements for Variety Breakfast, and after trying, he discovered that they really could. That instantly set his mind racing. If Da Su Beef Noodles qualified, then noodles alone offered plenty of choices.
