Wei Shan fought off the night-walking species and Grinning Angels, but their attacks and apparent attempt to contaminate him drove him into a chaotic frenzy. Kuai Hongji and Tian Bufan arrived as Wei Shan turned on them, and Tian Bufan restrained him while Kuai Hongji dispelled his baseball bat.

• Wei Shan destroyed a Grinning Angel and used his golden aura and baseball bat to fend off waves of night-walking species near a streetlamp.

Tian Bufan suspected the Gray Fog Invasion had risen in rank because Lin Yi’s adaptation and their arrival had drawn “Its” attention.
