One, Pet Beast evolution.
Two, the reward explosion after clearing an unexplored secret realm.
Pet Beast evolution was the beginning of a Pet Beast gaining new talents. That lottery-like thrill was addictive.
The reward explosion after clearing an unexplored secret realm was much the same.
Challenging a secret realm with known rewards offered no such thrill. But clearing a breakthrough secret realm or an unknown secret realm and facing unknown rewards made Beast Tamers especially excited.
At that moment, Lu Ran was pretty excited. The rewards for solo-clearing an unexplored legendary secret realm certainly hadn't disappointed him. Setting aside the one million Crystal Coins, a hard currency, there were a hundred Upgrade Cards.
Upgrading Contract Cards required one, ten, a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand cards, and so on... Currently, General Ha's and Sudden Death King's Contract Cards had both been upgraded twice.
