Strengthen Cloudy?
Hearing those words of truth, Cloudy opened its eyes, still half-conscious after its breakthrough.
It was Lu Ran's first pet beast to remain dazed after breaking through, mainly because it had eaten too many legendary resources.
Even Taotie itself would have been stuffed senseless after eating nine Elemental Gods in one go.
Now awake, Cloudy felt terrifyingly strong, capable of taking down one Sudden Death King with every move.
Still, it felt a little regretful that it hadn't reached a middle legendary race in one go.
"This was only the first round, just to bring all nine of your attributes to legendary level. Nine resources might sound like a lot, but they all worked in parallel."
"To break through further, you'll need to eat more Elemental Cores of the same attribute."
Still, having nine legendary-level attributes made Cloudy's actual combat strength far greater than that of ordinary legendaries, especially in terms of its skills' destructive power. It might already have been comparable to the middle legendary Beast God and Plant God of later generations.
Once Lu Ran finished speaking, Cloudy came flying over and burrowed into his arms. Its soft, fluffy texture brought a slight smile to Lu Ran's face and left General Ha, Sudden Death King, and Dark Crow briefly silent.
At any rate, acting cute to beg for resources was beyond General Ha and Sudden Death King.
Dark Crow, however, rubbed its chin with a wing and tilted its head in thought. It didn't mind doing that, but it reckoned Great King would slap it away.
"All right."
Lu Ran pondered for a moment, then looked at the surrounding void. "Next, we'll begin our second round of hunting."
Between Dark Crow and the others resting and Cloudy evolving, two days had already passed by Star-Moon time.
