Elsewhere, after being captured and taken to the Hall of Punishment in Spirit City, Yu Xiaogang endured several days and nights of torment before finally being thrown out of Spirit City.

Because of Yu Xiaogang's status as the Young Master of the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan, Qian Xunji had not gone too far. He had not beaten Yu Xiaogang until he was at death's door before throwing him out of Spirit City.

Bibi Dong had never owed Yu Xiaogang anything.

Yet Yu Xiaogang could shamelessly rely on their old relationship to go to Spirit Hall and demand that Bibi Dong give him a method that would help an enemy.

After Bibi Dong refused and merely stated that she had already sent people after Tang San, Yu Xiaogang immediately disregarded all their past affection and angrily threatened Bibi Dong.

The hypocrisy, selfishness, and self-centeredness revealed by Yu Xiaogang here could not have been more obvious!

And now, even though Bibi Dong had not personally come to him as she had in the original story to "coldly" break up with him,

Yu Xiaogang's selfish and self-centered nature still subtly pushed all the blame onto Bibi Dong.

During those three years, Qian Renxue had been born after the maid's ten-month pregnancy. She was now over two years old, able to run around everywhere and call out for her father and mother.
