Background

Su Mo wandered Douluo Continent while following a script he had given Bibi Dong. Before she found him, he lived as a beggar in harsh conditions and was discovered in a rundown Lan Tuo City alley while confronting stray dogs. 4 5

Bibi Dong brought him to Spirit City as her younger brother. Although Su Mo recognized her immediately and was moved that she had sought him out, he deliberately maintained a guarded, nervous façade in accordance with his plans. 6 7

At Spirit City’s awakening ceremony, he revealed Innate Full Soul Power and the Death God Scythe, overturning the contempt directed at him as Bibi Dong’s adopted beggar. His full potential was concealed further by the fact that he had also chosen the Staff of the Tree of Life and the Twelve-Winged Fallen Angel as additional Martial Souls. 9 10
