Background

Spirit Hall is credited with having been founded by the Angel God. The Angel God allegedly appointed a loyal believer as High Priest and bestowed the Six-Winged Angel Martial Soul upon them; that bloodline later became the Qian Family, which formed the foundation of modern Spirit Hall 134 353.

The organization grew into the continent's strongest Soul Master force, possessing the greatest concentration of high-level combatants and more Soul Masters than either of the Two Great Empires 92. Its power historically rested in part on the Qian Family's Six-Winged Angel lineage, which reportedly produces a Limit Douluo in nearly every generation 134.

After Bibi Dong became Pope, Spirit Hall continued expanding, though with a less openly hostile approach toward obstructing factions than in her previous life. Its rise nevertheless threatened the interests of major Soul Master clans and sects, while its standing among commoner Soul Masters remained strong 92.

• Spirit City Central Library — A five-story library. Its first three floors are public, while the fourth requires a high Spirit Hall rank and the fifth requires special permission 12.

Spirit Hall's reputation is also damaged by corrupt local officials. In Gengxin City, branch master Myers and his subordinates abused their authority and oppressed residents until Su Mo arrested them, held a public trial, executed the worst offenders, and punished other guilty branch members 375 376. The episode was used to reaffirm that Spirit Hall does not permit its Soul Masters to oppress commoners 376 384.
