"Why are we retreating?" Grom snarled at the horn sounding across the battlefield. He swore he would tear the man who blew it in half.

"Our objective has already been achieved. There is no point in continuing this battle," Orgrim said. He had been watching the battlefield from the shadows. He was quite satisfied with Grom's performance, though the arrival of Alliance reinforcements had caught him somewhat by surprise.

"Just give me a little more time." Grommash stepped forward, gritting his teeth as if his strength were limitless. "Wait just a little longer, and I can present you with the heads of those Alliance leaders." The thirst for battle still burned within him, and Doomhammer wanted him to calm down.

"Our goal is not to slaughter every one of the Alliance, but to establish a secure forward position here," Orgrim shouted, addressing more than just Grom. "My warriors, you have all done well. Every scar upon your bodies shows me your bravery!" Cries rose from all around. "The Alliance has now witnessed our strength, but this is merely the tip of our endless army. Once our main force arrives, the Alliance will be utterly defeated. Their lands, their kingdoms, will all belong to us. And even farther beyond, every banner will be replaced with the red of blood. Lok'tar! For the Horde!"

"For the Horde!" the Orcs roared in unison, their voices ringing through the sky.

Lothar looked helplessly at the devastation around him. Soldiers were clearing the battlefield and handling the bodies. Without a doubt, the Alliance had suffered a crushing defeat. He did not know the extent of their losses, but they were certainly severe.
