Alleria returned to Silvermoon City very late. By the time she rode her Gryphon back alone, Vareesa had already been waiting at the city gates for quite some time.
"If you hadn't come back soon, I was about to send the Rangers out to look for you." Vareesa and Alleria embraced each other warmly. They both knew it was only a joke, but Alleria had indeed been delayed for a while, and the Regent Lord smiled sheepishly.
"Sylvanas and I simply had too much to talk about. That held me up."
Vareesa had not seen such excitement on her sister's face in a long time. It seemed that much of the rift between her and Sylvanas had melted away. "So, what did our second sister tell you?"
"That would take far too long to explain." The Regent Lord shook her head. "All right, tell me first—how is Belorell? Is he all right?" Alleria thought that dealing with those nobles was no easy task. They always used countless questions, as soft yet dangerous as spiderwebs, to wrap up prey inexperienced in the ways of the world.
