Background / History

Ye Zi married Song Dongshan, chairman of Green Mountain Energy Company, and had a daughter, Song Meiqi. She credits her contribution with helping the company grow from a chemical plant into its present business 6 9.

A year before the main events, Dongshan died in an accident while inspecting a lithium mine in Qingdi. His will divided his 41% founding stake between Ye Zi and Meiqi, but stipulated that Ye Zi would lose custody of their daughter to Song Haichang if she remarried 6.
