A chance encounter
It was a new day, and Lumian left the Protected Zone shrouded in Grayish-White Fog.
There is no Sun in the Ruined World, it is always Evernight, but the temperature is not very low. The Crimson Moonlight shines everywhere, bringing a spring-like feeling and a climate that is sometimes warm and sometimes cold.
High in the sky, the Crimson Moon was nowhere to be seen, the Stars were all dim, and the darkness was tinged with crimson.
Lumian turned to the side, looked at Franca standing at the edge of the Grayish-White Fog, and nodded slightly to her.
Franca returned a warm and bright smile, waved to Lumian, and then disappeared from sight.
Lumian withdrew his gaze and looked at the head on the left and Cheek's face on the right.
Cheek's face, which was both stunningly beautiful and pure, and radiated maternal warmth, smiled sweetly.
He had no reservations about what Lumian was about to do, at least not outwardly.
"You're looking forward to it too, aren't you?" Lumian asked, a smirk playing on his lips.
Cheek's face cannot speak yet, but it has made no move, neither confirming nor denying.
Lumian ignored him and turned his head to look at Aurora and Jenna's faces on the other side.
Their eyes remained closed, and their faces bore traces of blood that were difficult to remove.
Lumian slowly exhaled and walked towards the edge of the Trier Ruins, towards the Green Kingdom where those huge Oak Tree stood.
He wandered aimlessly, letting the Convergence Law of Beyonder Characteristics and the Mysticism connection between his true self and his alter ego take effect naturally.
This is also the direction indicated by the previous Prophecy.
The further you walk out of the Ruins, the more desolate the environment becomes, with only the occasional cries of babies and the sounds of birds flapping their wings coming from the Green Kingdom.
Suddenly, Lumian saw a group of lively Wild Deer emerge from behind a row of abandoned buildings.
They walked briskly in the Crimson Moonlight, occasionally turning their heads to nibble on the green plants and fruits covering the house's surface.
Thump!
A Wild Deer fell down and crashed to the ground.
Its body rotted rapidly, as if being devoured by countless tiny creatures, and within seconds it was completely returned to the earth, including its white bones.
It fell without leaving a trace.
Thump, thump, more Wild Deer fell to the ground.
The other Wild Deer showed no alarm or fear; they leisurely ate their food while giving birth to bloodied Fawn one after another.
By the time they were out of Lumian's sight, only Rebirth Fawn remained in the Herd of Deer, Fawn grew very quickly.
"This is not how Civilization can develop..." Lumian suddenly had this thought.
He didn't know if this was the "Fallen Mother Goddess's " intentional act or a natural influence on the environment under her normal state. He only remembered that the "Magician" Lady had said that she had once wandered to a Planet Depths the Starry Sky. That Planet worshipped the "Fallen Mother Goddess," but they were not ruled by Angel. Instead, they were the three Divine Child born from the union of the "Fallen Mother Goddess" with the Planet itself in ancient times, along with their descendants. In addition to their extreme worship of mothers and Reproductive Organs, the inhabitants of that Planet had actually developed a unique Civilization.
Perhaps the lair of the "Fallen Mother Goddess" is like this Ruined World, devoid of Civilization, but teeming with Mythical Creature... while other Planet that worship Her can develop Civilization? Lumian continued forward.
After walking for a while, a vast Oak Tree forest came into view.
At that moment, four figures emerged from the Oak Tree grove.
The four figures were carrying a heavy Coffin made of raw wood, which had not been painted.
Three of them were Golem made of clay, while the only human wore a brown Robe adorned with the "Life Holy Emblem," had a stubble beard, and a solemn expression, as if he were performing a sacred Ritual.
He was clearly a "defected" Clergy the "Earth Mother" Church.
--The Church the Earth Mother still exists, Blessed are struggling to maintain it with the help of other official extraordinary organizations, so as not to let the Earth Mother lose the support of her anchor. If this True God were to go mad or fall now, the Astral World Barrier would be immediately shattered by the Outer Deity.
When the Crimson Moon descended, a large number of the Divine Grace were corrupted or Loss of Control. They suffered repeated blows afterward, and only in the last two months have they finally found some peace. At this time, their numbers are less than half of what they used to be. Even the Mother Superior Roland is now wandering somewhere in the Ruined World, becoming Marionette of the "Fallen Mother Goddess".
"Carrying Coffin? Is this a former Saint of the ' Earth Mother ' Church, Sequence 3 ' Coffin Bearer '?" Lumian was not surprised to encounter such a "mother" child.
He looked at the Divine Grace who was presumably a "Coffin Bearer" and thought with some doubt, "The name ' Coffin Bearer ' in this Sequence should just be a symbol, symbolizing the act of returning life to the earth, an important part of the 'Mother' Pathway's construction of the Loop of reality, thus involving concepts and powers such as death and return..."
"They didn't actually say they were carrying Coffin; it was just symbolic..."
"As Acting, there's nothing wrong with that, but you've already mutated into an evil being, what are you still Acting?"
"The Coffin they're carrying is unusual; what exactly is inside?"
Lumian was happy to stop and take a look at the matter concerning the "Fallen Mother Goddess," and he blocked the path of the "Coffin Bearer."
At the same time, the head on his left shoulder turned, and Cheek's Exquisite Beauty face looked toward the target.
The "Coffin Bearer" sensed something and looked back at Lumian's location, his eyes suddenly becoming both Evil and vicious.
Just as he was about to use his Beyond Ability, his body suddenly Change.
His skin cracked open, and heaving out mounds of brownish-black soil, which engulfed him, merged with him, and grew out various iconic organs representing "mother," some from humans and some not belonging to humans.
The Coffin Bearer quickly Loss of Control and went mad.
This originates from the power of the "Witch of the Apocalypse". If the "Death God" Pathway represents death and eternal sleep, the "Darkness" Pathway represents silence and Eternal Darkness, the "Giant" Pathway represents Decay and the passage of time, and the "Red Priest" Pathway represents conquest and the destruction brought by war, then the "Witch" Pathway represents the arrival of the Apocalypse and the return to Chaos.
The arrival of the Apocalypse means that various conflicts will erupt in a designated area, which will obviously involve the entanglement and unification of Destiny.
The Apocalypse is also the Apocalypse of our Destiny!
Lumian also possesses the Gift of Fate.
The "Coffin Bearer" were already on the verge of Loss of Control and going insane due to their alienation. When the "Apocalypse" came, this contradiction was naturally pushed by Destiny and erupted.
However, his Loss of Control into Monster did not prevent him from attacking Lumian. He threw away the Coffin, grabbed the clay Golem, and instinctively charged towards Lumian.
The surrounding green plants, and even a few Oak Tree that had not yet grown, withered and turned yellow instantly, losing their lives.
After running only two steps, the body of the "Coffin Bearer" suddenly turned Gray-White- white.
In just one second, he froze there, turning into a stone Stone Statues.
The same was true of the three clay Golem he created.
Without a sound, the earth split open where they were, and surging Magma rushed out, completely engulfing them.
Following the Magma was the collapse of the entire edge area; soil, vegetation, abandoned buildings, and melted Stone Statues all vanished into the Gloom void.
The "Apocalypse" that Lumian had just specified for certain areas has come to pass in its entirety.
Seeing a dark brown, almost black light gradually emerge from the void, Lumian stepped forward to the wooden Coffin he had deliberately left untouched.
He kicked the Coffin lid off.
Inside the Coffin was a lump of rotting flesh, resembling an unborn fetus or some kind of dead small animal.
It seemed to have no physical form; upon seeing the Crimson Moonlight, it quickly evaporated into wisps of dark brown gas.
Lumian created a thick "Fog of War" around them, blocking out the Crimson Moonlight, but the steaming of rotting flesh did not stop; instead, it grew faster and faster.
The faces of Ari and Tushusta Tudor on Lumian's left shoulder turned towards the Coffin, their Eyes a deep, iron-black, involuntary gaze that inspired a sense of submission.
The rising speed of the dark brown gas slowed down suddenly, but strangely blended with the surrounding environment and dissipated quickly.
Lumian hesitated for a moment, but did not remove the Dark-Gold Mask that was in the center of the head on his left shoulder.
The rotting flesh evaporated in the blink of an eye, leaving only a few dark brown marks at the bottom of the Coffin as proof that it had once existed.
Lumian stared at it for a few seconds, then reported the matter to Mr. The Fool.
He didn't venture deep into the endless Oak Tree forest. Bathed in the Crimson Moonlight and amidst the intermittent cries of babies, he walked in another direction along the edge of the Trier Ruins.
Familiar streets and houses came into view in a strange way.
This is the Market District; this is Messy Street.
Lumian put his hands in his pockets, as if he had returned to the past.
He didn't expect to "encounter" the "Primordial Witch" Cheek, but he thought he might run into a high-ranking Witch. Witch needed the Protection of the "Primordial Witch" to survive in the Ruined World, which required them to gather in one place or a limited number of places. Encountering one meant encountering a whole bunch.
"I thought you would come and attack me to fulfill your dream..." Lumian turned his head and said to Cheek's face.
The Cheek face returned a sweet smile, but nothing more.
As Lumian walked, he suddenly stopped.
He felt that it had been a long time since he had heard the cries of babies and the sounds of birds taking flight from the Oak Tree grove.
The entire Ruins were eerily quiet, deathly still.
