Personality

Uncle Ghost’s kindly manner conceals a calculating predator. He protects Lin Luo, gives him gifts, and publicly recognizes him as his godson because he needs Lin Luo’s medical skills. Privately, he intends to devour him once the treatment is complete. He even sacrifices his nephew’s interests to preserve this arrangement 390 391 405.

He considers vampires superior to other ghost species and reacts angrily to insults about his appearance. His appetite is equally pronounced: stronger opponents tempt him with their blood essence, although he finds the Driver Ghost’s blood unsatisfying and prefers human blood 393 396 398.

Despite his arrogance, Uncle Ghost fears powers above him. He avoids provoking the Unspeakable connected to the Horror Puppet’s Blood Saw and panics at the prospect of Young Master Ming punishing him for the secret-room theft 402 404.

History

Treatment and the godson arrangement

The Wedding-Dress Female Ghost brings Lin Luo to the Cerebral Hemorrhage Bathhouse to treat Uncle Ghost’s cursed cerebral hemorrhage. Blood flowing from his head fills the pool where he rests. During the examination, Lin Luo learns that the condition originated from cursed fresh blood 372 373.

Lin Luo forcibly opens his skull, suppresses his anger with Emotion Stitching, and reconnects the ruptured blood vessels. Uncle Ghost praises him and attempts to retain him nearby as a private caregiver. Although this operation is initially described as curing the hemorrhage, later visits establish that his Head Affliction still requires treatment 374 387 388.

Uncle Ghost gives Lin Luo the Blood Jade Token and promises to make him his godson and grant him Green Mountain Clinic. Lin Luo already knows that the ghost intends to kill him afterward and secretly places Nine Netherworld Netherfire inside him during treatment 388.

Protection and concealed tests

When Lin Luo clashes with the Vampire, Uncle Ghost backs Lin Luo despite the Vampire being his nephew. He places the punishment in Lin Luo’s hands and orders his nephew to lend him the Blood-Soaked Halberd. He subsequently introduces Lin Luo as his godson to the Gatekeeping Old Ghost 390 391.

During their trip outside the clinic, Uncle Ghost notices the Mirror Ghost targeting Lin Luo but allows the encounter to continue so he can assess Lin Luo’s abilities. When he later attempts to feed on the defeated Mirror Ghost, its self-detonation wounds him. He then exaggerates his weakness to test Lin Luo’s reaction 393.

On the Supernatural Bus, Uncle Ghost protects Lin Luo from the driver’s intimidation but uses the Cat-Faced Old Woman as another test, ordering her to fight his godson. After the bus is destroyed, he intercepts the fleeing Driver Ghost and drains him dry to prevent news of the incident spreading 394 397 398.

Conflict at the coffin shop

Uncle Ghost takes Lin Luo to the Netherworld Coffin shop, where his attempt to feed on receptionist Li Jingpeng brings him into conflict with the Horror Puppet. Lin Luo’s provocations escalate the dispute into a fight 399 400.

After Lin Luo steals a dangerous brocade box, the Horror Puppet attacks with a Blood Saw bearing an Unspeakable’s resentment. Uncle Ghost carries Lin Luo out of the shop but is struck through the back. The pursuing puppet wrongly blames Uncle Ghost for the theft, reasoning that a vampire could have used a blood clone 402 403.

Uncle Ghost escapes with Lin Luo by crushing a Netherworld Tier Blood Bodhi, returning them to Green Mountain Clinic. Although he conceals the extent of his abilities and exaggerates his weakness, the Blood Saw has genuinely injured him 403 405.

Secret-room theft and betrayal

Back at the clinic, Uncle Ghost learns that the Black Hole Secret Room has been robbed while its key was entrusted to him. With Young Master Ming due the following morning, he considers making Lin Luo a scapegoat and urgently seeks a permanent cure so he can attempt an Unspeakable breakthrough 404.

He also plans to kill the Wedding-Dress Female Ghost, whose recovered strength threatens his position. Lin Luo warns her and arranges an ambush during his next treatment session 405 406.

Uncle Ghost captures Little Green Snake and Chen Yuling, imprisoning them in a blood pool to force Lin Luo to operate. Once cured, he refuses to release them and immediately tries to bite Lin Luo. Lin Luo reveals that he has sabotaged Uncle Ghost’s meridians to reverse his Ghost Blood, but the ghost withstands the sabotage and unleashes his full strength 407 408.

Final battle and death

While the Wedding-Dress Female Ghost occupies Uncle Ghost, Lin Luo synchronizes with the Drunken Ghost and breaks the blood pool’s restraints. The freed women provide Yin-Yang Mystic Stones, allowing Lin Luo to upgrade the Hell Torch to Heavenly Burial Tier. Uncle Ghost recognizes the stones as property stolen from the Black Hole Secret Room 409.

The upgraded weapon burns away Uncle Ghost’s bloody Ghost Domain. The Wedding-Dress Female Ghost blocks his escape, and his last-resort attack—a giant skull formed from Ghost Blood—collides with Lin Luo’s strike, destroying the bathhouse 410.

Exhausted, Uncle Ghost invokes both their supposed father-son relationship and Young Master Ming’s protection. Lin Luo kills him by driving the Hell Torch through his head, then burns away the blood-red phantom of Young Master Ming released upon his death 410.
