Background / History

Du Busi and his elder brother emerged in the same era, a period he once regarded as the Body Sect’s pinnacle. His brother later died at Mu En’s hands in a fair duel. Although Du Busi accepted the circumstances enough not to pursue an all-out war, the death left him with a lasting blood feud against Mu En and hostility toward Shrek 4 7.

By the time he began overseeing Su Yu’s cultivation, Du Busi had been stuck at rank 98 for many years. The appearance of Su Yu, Long Aotian, and Vina renewed his hopes for the sect; he briefly considered nurturing them more meaningful than becoming a Limit Douluo himself 4 9.

His priorities shifted after he sensed a concealed, potentially Limit-level threat while confronting Shrek’s representatives. Unsure whether his existing strength could protect the three talents, he resolved to enter seclusion after their second awakenings and remain there until he broke through. Personality

Du Busi places great importance on inheritance and the Body Sect’s future. He personally reviews techniques, supplies rare cultivation resources, and monitors whether Su Yu’s extraordinary progress is damaging his long-term potential. He is vindictive toward Mu En’s descendants but not indiscriminately reckless. During the confrontation outside Heaven Dou City, he considers killing Bei Bei and Yan Shaozhe, yet restrains himself because of Su Yu’s safety, nearby witnesses, and an unexplained threat.
