Background / History

The Snow Flame Sect is a cultivation sect in the Cambrian Kingdom. Its conflict with the Xiahou Dynasty ended after intervention by the Dao Alliance, whose talisman artifacts and control over sects give it major influence in the kingdom. Chaoge City, the kingdom’s capital, expanded significantly under the sect’s influence. 21 22

In its early recorded period, the sect’s internal hierarchy is disrupted when Pill Elder True Person Jade Pot—also called Yu Hu—selects the laborer disciple Xiao Bai as her Dao Companion. The decision provokes widespread shock among male cultivators and speculation among the elders. 1 26

The sect is infiltrated by multiple hostile forces. Yu Hu is secretly a fox demon who intends to overthrow the sect, while Mu Yun is a Mo Race cultivator affected by Demonic Obstruction. Later, Abyssal Monsters disguised as Inner Sect Disciples are discovered within the sect. 2 12 90

The Demon Alliance launches a major assault on the sect during the Sword Inheritance Assembly. Its forces attack from three directions, while a Beast Tide and attacks against the Mountain Protecting Array strain the sect’s defenses.
