Inside the Captain's Quarters.
The Nightmare Star's four members gathered for a brief impromptu meeting, so the new crewmate, Cui Xiya, could get to know the existing crew and settle into the family as soon as possible.
"I'm Yang Yi, captain of the Nightmare Star and its highest authority. I'm mainly responsible for voyage planning and safety."
Yang Yi introduced himself first, then pointed at Su Na.
"This is Su Na, the Nightmare Star's first mate and ship's doctor. She's mainly responsible for technical support and medical care. Her authority is second only to mine."
Su Na nodded, acknowledging Yang Yi's words.
Her attention, however, was entirely on Cui Xiya. After all, she was a Variant Light Fairy; there might not be another one in this entire sea.
Su Na's stare gave Cui Xiya the creeps and made her very uncomfortable.
"Is there something on my face?" she asked Su Na, hovering in midair.
"No.
But you've only just recovered. To be safe, I'll give you a full-body examination later," Su Na replied calmly, a Plague Doctor Mask covering her face.
"Ahem!"
Yang Yi coughed, drawing everyone's attention, then pointed at Xiaoji.
"This is Head Chef Xiaoji. Don't let the fact that it's a robot fool you-its cooking skills are masterful!
It's mainly responsible for cooking, security, patrols, and feeding the Vitality Sardine Tree. It's also a laboratory assistant."
"That's right!"
The indicator light on Xiaoji's head flashed, and it extended a mechanical arm in salute.
"Vitality Sardine Tree?"
Cui Xiya had never heard of such a creature and couldn't help frowning.
"Finally..." Yang Yi looked at Cui Xiya.
"Your provisional position is Navigation Consultant. You'll mainly be responsible for dispersing the Black Fog and helping me plan our voyages."
Cui Xiya nodded and looked at the other three members.
