Bibi Dong was a disciple of the previous Pope, identified as Qian Jixun in the account of Spirit Hall’s leadership. Her teacher opposed her association with her first love, Yu Xiaogang. Later passages connect her endurance to abuse in a secret chamber, giving birth to Qian Renxue, and eventually ascending to the papacy 308 316 319 334.

As Pope, she spent decades consolidating control over Spirit Hall outside the Worship Hall. Hu Liena became an important emotional anchor during a life otherwise marked by loneliness and her attachment to Yu Xiaogang 222 319.
