Background / History
Xiao Wu encounters Tang San in a tavern in the City of Slaughter, where he persistently offers to buy Tang San a drink. Tang San reacts strongly to his name because it is shared with someone he loved in the past. The Slaughter Squad captain, Kekot, moves to take Xiao Wu away for violating the city’s rules, prompting Tang San to offer protection in exchange for Xiao Wu’s freedom and help in the Hell Slaughter Arena 345.
During a later confrontation involving Tang Hao and Tang San, Xiao Wu pleads for Tang San’s help. Tang Hao threatens him while Tang San desperately begs for his life; Xiao Wu subsequently dies 352.
Years later, the King of Slaughter reveals that he preserved Xiao Wu’s body in an ice coffin. After inheriting the Rakshasa God position, Tang San locates Xiao Wu’s wandering soul in the City of Slaughter and reunites it with his body using Rakshasa Divine Power, reviving him after a month of effort 433.
