Background

Tang Hao is the father of Tang San and the husband of Ah Yin. After Ah Yin's sacrifice, her life force restored his grievous injuries, raised him past Rank 90, and sustained him through later injuries and Ring Detonation backlash. 292

He initially neglected Tang San because the child's unusual maturity and independence made Tang Hao doubt whether he was truly his son. Tang San's awakening of both Blue Silver Grass and the Clear Sky Hammer finally confirmed the blood relation, after which Tang Hao began protecting and assisting him from the shadows. 353

Rescue of Tang San and early instruction

Tang Hao intervenes when Shi Nian traps Tang San in an illusion, kills Shi Nian with the Clear Sky Hammer, and begins personally instructing his son because he believes time is limited. 153 After Tang San's Clear Sky Hammer is destroyed by Xiao Yu, Tang Hao suppresses his rage rather than reveal himself before numerous powerful witnesses. 172

Assassination attempt on Xiao Yu

Following the tournament, Tang Hao joins Tang Yuehua and Tang Liufeng in a plan to assassinate Xiao Yu at Moonlight Pavilion. He draws Xiao Yu's attention while Tang Liufeng launches the killing blow, but immediately flees after Scarlet King blocks the attack. 173 174

Spirit Hall raid and retreat

Tang Hao attacks Spirit Hall during the tournament finals, uses Clear Sky True Body against the Pope's Palace, and extracts Tang San from the battlefield.
