Personality

Jin Peng treats Body Martial Soul cultivators as family and regards bringing them into the Body Sect as an ancestral responsibility. His enthusiasm can become overbearing: after identifying Gui Mei’s rare soul-type Body Martial Soul, he immediately tries to recruit him. When Gui Mei refuses and Chen Yuan intervenes, Jin Peng apologizes and returns to negotiations 21 25.

Within the sect, he is trusted for his fairness and concern for others. He welcomes guest elders as members of the family, distributes resources impartially, and insists that Long Aoyu travel with protection despite the young cultivator’s objections 23 44 112 123 124.

History

Sect Administration and Spirit Hall Cooperation

Jin Peng participates in the Body Sect’s early planning for pill production, resource acquisition, and recruitment. After he reaches rank 97, Du Busi entrusts him with sect affairs while entering seclusion. His responsibilities include distributing spirit medicines, negotiating with Spirit Hall, and arranging assistance for the younger generation’s Soul Ring hunts 4 20 21.

He receives Dugu Bo as a guest elder and provides the Soul Core method needed to cure his poison backlash. With Chen Yuan, he then negotiates an agreement with Yue Guan: the Body Sect will exchange pills for cultivation resources and provide Soul Tool samples in return for twenty years of Body Martial Soul awakening records from the Heaven Dou Empire 23 24 25.

Defeat of the Sword and Bone Douluo

After the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect demands that the Body Sect’s young leaders kneel in repentance, Jin Peng leads Elders Qian, Zhou, Wei, and Zhao to confront it. The five defeat Chen Xin and Gu Rong despite Ning Fengzhi’s support 29 30 31.

Jin Peng demands Gu Rong’s apology and imposes compensation including one hundred million Gold Soul Coins, rare metals, spirit medicines, Soul Beast materials, and three Soul Bones at least ten thousand years old. He threatens the sect’s destruction if it fails to comply 32.

Tang Hao and Spirit Hall’s Attack

At Shrek Academy, Jin Peng intercepts Tang Hao while Chen Yuan takes the others away. He dominates the fight and emerges uninjured, but Tang Hao escapes after detonating five Soul Rings. Jin Peng acknowledges that his defensive specialization leaves him without the finishing power needed to stop the escape 35 36.

When Bibi Dong attacks the Body Sect, Jin Peng rallies its disciples and leads the elders’ counterattack. Wearing Long Aoyu’s Tidal Battle Armor, he helps overwhelm her and repeatedly slams her Spider Emperor Avatar into the ground. At Du Busi’s instruction, he eventually permits the Spirit Hall party to leave, demanding quintuple resources, Star Luo recruitment records, and noninterference with Body Sect recruitment. He also welcomes Gui Mei and Yue Guan into the sect 41 42 43 44.

Strength Clan and Clear Sky Sect Campaigns

Following Tai Tan’s attack on Long Aotian, Du Busi orders Jin Peng, Chen Yuan, and Elder Mo to lead forces against the Strength Clan. After its destruction, Jin Peng secures the Heaven Dou garrison’s noninterference, enters the capital, and abducts Tang Yuehua after Chen Yuan extracts the location of a Clear Sky Sect outpost 70 73.

Jin Peng subsequently commands the expedition against the Clear Sky Sect. After Tang Xiao surrenders, he orders its stores looted and obtains copies of the Clear Sky Nine Absolutes and Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer. He also demands a Ten Thousand Year Soul Bone every three months until the sect finds Tang Hao. His attempt to obtain the Great Sumeru Hammer—to adapt Ring Detonation for Body Martial Souls—fails because only Tang Hao knows it 74 78 80 81 82.

Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan Conflict

Jin Peng takes Yu Xiaogang hostage and demands the True Dragon Nine Crowns and Dragon Transformation Secret Technique as ransom. He later injures and imprisons Liu Erlong when the ransom delegation refuses his terms. After learning that Heaven Dou Royal Academy has accepted Tang San, he separately dispatches Elders Wei and Zhao to empty the imperial treasury 82 88 89 93.

When Yu Yuanzhen refuses to surrender the clan’s treasures, Jin Peng destroys Yu Xiaogang’s cultivation and orders him abandoned among criminals. He attacks the Nine-Dragon Thunderclap Formation’s main barrier while the other elders destroy its auxiliaries, then breaks through the weakened defense. After the campaign, he kills Yu Luomian, orders the clan’s resources and texts seized, and arranges an auction of captured allies in Wulan City 103 104 107.

Continued Leadership

Jin Peng responds cautiously to Elder Zhou’s discovery of Ferocious Beasts near the Lake of Life, ordering the sect to avoid the core region until Du Busi returns. He also oversees the distribution of five Soul Bones after allowing Elder Zhou first choice from his own gains 112.

At the captive auction, he prevents Ning Fengzhi from leaving without paying for his purchases and confronting the captives’ families. Later, he arranges for Chen Yuan to protect Long Aoyu discreetly during his travels 118 123 124.

Holding Off Xiong Jun

Jin Peng accompanies Long Aotian to the Star Dou Great Forest for his seventh Soul Ring. Alongside Chen Yuan and Vina, he subdues a Thought-Tracing Spirit Lion and captures a Hundred Thousand Year Thunderclap Giant Python. When Xiong Jun pursues them, Jin Peng stays behind with the Tidal Battle Armor while Chen Yuan escorts the younger cultivators and python away 150 151 152.

He buys sufficient time for their escape but suffers wounds and armor damage. Xiong Jun pursues him for seven days, leaving him near exhaustion. Long Aoyu, Elder Zhou, and Jiang Zuo arrive during his last stand; Long Aoyu restrains Xiong Jun and heals Jin Peng. Still unable to resume intense combat, Jin Peng contributes his Golden Body Domain to the continuing confrontation 153 157 158.
