Holy Maiden and Separation

Bibi Dong was Spirit Hall’s Holy Maiden during her youthful relationship with Yu Xiaogang. She gave him a Pope Token, promised to make him an honorary elder, and attached a personal promise: he could use the token to request one wish from her 41.

She later pushed him away with deliberately cruel words to protect him. Unaware of her reasons, Yu Xiaogang left and resented the separation for years. Despite their estrangement, she continued following his life and cultivation through reports 19 24 25.

Qian Xunji raped Bibi Dong, and Qian Renxue was born as a result. Bibi Dong loved her daughter but struggled to face her because her appearance recalled the assault. She later secretly killed Qian Xunji after he returned to Spirit Hall; his death was not directly caused by Tang Hao 25 43 64 77.

Reunion with Yu Xiaogang

Yu Xiaogang’s letter acknowledged that she had borne her suffering alone and promised that he would visit Spirit City. Bibi Dong wept while reading it, still believing herself unworthy of standing beside him 24.

When he arrived at the Pope’s Palace, she initially addressed him with formal detachment. Her composure collapsed after he embraced her and asked to begin again. He invoked the Pope Token’s promised wish to ask that they remain together forever, and she accepted 41 42.

Their reconciliation strengthened her determination to become a god so they could eventually live together in the Divine Realm. She also acknowledged Liu Erlong’s place in his life rather than demanding that he choose between them 42.

During his stay, Bibi Dong formally accepted Yu Xiaogang as her teacher. His Divine Disciple System recognized her god-level potential and awarded the God of Silent Death’s Divine Position, which he subsequently transferred to her 43 44.

Defying Qian Daoliu

After Yu Xiaogang departed, Bibi Dong ordered Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo to protect him. She then confronted Qian Daoliu, who questioned her conduct and invoked her connection to Qian Xunji 44.

Intervention at Blue Tyrant Academy

Yu Xiaogang brought Bibi Dong to Blue Tyrant Academy when the ancient Evil-Eyed Saint King endangered Dai Mubai during its inheritance process. She entered Dai Mubai’s mental space and warned the Saint King that she would kill him someday if Dai Mubai died. Afterward, she confirmed that Dai Mubai was safe, though he would remain unconscious temporarily 89 90.

During the visit, she personally apologized to Xiao Wu and promised to resurrect her mother. She also established a friendly relationship with Liu Erlong; the two agreed not to fight over Yu Xiaogang and grew close during a night-market outing 89 91.

With Yu Xiaogang’s encouragement, Bibi Dong agreed to visit Qian Renxue alone. She acknowledged that her daughter was innocent and said she had begun letting go of the past 91.

Conflict with the Fallen Soul Masters

Bibi Dong ordered Gui Mei and Ghost Leopard Douluo to investigate the destruction of Spirit Hall’s Qinghai City branch. The investigation uncovered an organized force of Fallen Soul Masters whose strength exceeded her initial expectations. Subsequent operations required cooperation between the Elder Hall and Worship Hall, but the enemy’s leaders repeatedly escaped 78 124 129.

The conflict became personal when three Titled Douluo attacked the tournament convoy and tried to capture Yu Xiaogang alive. Bibi Dong recognized their likely intention to use him as leverage against her. Although furious and self-reproachful, she concluded that anger alone would not solve her shortage of directly controllable top-tier fighters 124.

She responded by granting Silent Death divinity to nine elders. Gui Mei absorbed 30%, while the others received between 10% and 20%. She then supplied complete Soul Bone sets to Gui Mei, Yue Guan, and Ling Yuan and guided them toward cultivating Martial Soul Bone Armor Avatars 125 126 127.

Tournament Finals

Bibi Dong presided over the final between Blue Tyrant Academy and Spirit Hall Academy, dispersing the rain clouds before the match. After Blue Tyrant Academy won, she announced its championship and presented its three Soul Bone prizes to Tang San 141 145.

Despite Spirit Hall Academy’s defeat, she praised Tang San’s performance and urged the winning team to continue advancing rather than treating the championship as cultivation’s endpoint 145.

Developing the Soul Spirit Method

After the tournament, Yu Xiaogang explained the Soul Spirit Method to Bibi Dong. She proposed beginning with a small group of trustworthy, spiritually strong Soul Masters in Spirit City rather than immediately distributing it through Spirit Hall’s branches 146 147.

She identified two major obstacles: generations of hostility between humans and Soul Beasts, and ordinary Soul Beasts’ inability to communicate with humans. After learning about Di Tian and the Soul Beast Clan’s hidden powerhouses, she agreed to accompany Yu Xiaogang to negotiate once her Godhood Inheritance was complete 147 148.

They also discussed retrieving Soul Spirits after their Soul Masters died. Because Silent Death’s authority involves souls, her future godhood offered a possible means of separating and preserving them without damaging their Soul Origin. Meanwhile, she planned to select initial participants and locate suitable Soul Masters and Soul Beasts for trials 149.

She is fiercely protective but capable of strategic restraint. After the attack on Yu Xiaogang, she strengthens her elders instead of abandoning her inheritance to pursue the enemy personally.
