The gale whipped up scorching sand, stinging his cheeks slightly. Lynn squinted, watching the chestnut-haired woman a dozen meters ahead, who seemed about to be swallowed by the Scarlet storm.

Wanda hovered in mid-air, her toes barely off the ground. The space around her was twisted into a pretzel by the raging Chaos Particles, and dark red lightning bolts, like crazed venomous snakes, tore and exploded in the air.

Those once clear eyes were now bloodshot. Large tears streamed down her pale cheeks, only to be instantly evaporated by the surrounding heat before they even hit the ground.

Resentment, jealousy, and destructive urges.

These three extreme emotions were mixed together within her, transforming into a terrifying murderous intent powerful enough to wipe the entire New Mexico off the map.

"Get away from him..." Wanda stared intently at Hela, who was leaning on Lynn's shoulder, and his throat forced out a bloody roar, "Get away from him!"

Boom!

A Scarlet bolt of lightning, as thick as a bucket, struck down, landing less than three meters in front of Lynn and Hela. The intense heat instantly melted the sand into blinding glass crystals.

Hela, leaning on Lynn's shoulder, scoffed.

She raised her head, a cruel glint flashing in her narrow eyes. Death Force gathered in her palm, and a jet-black Night Sky Sword instantly took shape.

"You ignorant bastard." Hela licked her lips, her killing intent boiling.

Just as she was about to throw her longsword, her waist suddenly tightened.

Lynn's arms gripped Hela's waist like iron hoops. He didn't look at Hela, but used an undeniable force to forcibly pin the Goddess of Death to the spot.

"Stay put." Lynn's voice was icy, carrying the unyielding pressure of a tyrant.

Hela was stunned for a moment, feeling the domineering power at her waist, and the ferocity in her eyes miraculously dissipated. She obediently released the Night Sky Sword from her hand, and like Black Panther whose fur had been stroked, she defiantly raised her chin at Wanda in mid-air.

Lynn released Hela and walked step by step toward Wanda, facing the raging Scarlet lightning.

"Don't come any closer!" Wanda screamed.

The magic within her was on the verge of spiraling out of control; even she herself didn't know how much destructive power it would unleash in the next second. She was afraid of hurting Lynn, and even more resentful of Lynn's indulgence of that woman earlier.

The strong wind made Lynn's shirt flutter loudly.

He didn't stop.

Just as a Scarlet lightning bolt was about to strike his face, a similarly deep dark red suddenly lit up in Lynn's eyes.

Buzz--

The Chaos Origin within him was released without reservation. It was not aggressive at all, but rather like a gentle net, precisely capturing every frenzied magical particle emitted by Wanda.

Same frequency, resonance.

Two streams of Chaos Magic from the same source converged in the air. There was no earth-shattering explosion, only an eerie calm as if they were blending together seamlessly.

Lynn defied the distorted spatial pressure around him and walked up to Wanda.

"Are you going to kill me too for the sake of an outsider?" Lynn looked up at Wanda in mid-air, his voice carrying just the right amount of weariness and helplessness.

This statement precisely hit Wanda's Achilles' heel.

outsider.

This word was like a bucket of warm water, instantly extinguishing most of the anger in Wanda's heart.

The Scarlet in her eyes flashed violently, and the raging lightning around her suddenly paused. Wanda bit her lower lip, her toes landing slowly, but her body remained taut like a fully drawn bow.

"She touched you." Wanda's voice trembled, and tears streamed down her face again. "She rubbed her face against your hand... and you even touched her neck!"

Lynn sighed.

He raised his hands and cupped Wanda's cheeks without hesitation. His thumbs gently brushed away the tear tracks at the corners of her eyes, a gesture so tender it was completely different from when he had pinched Hela's chin earlier.

The instant their skin touched, Lynn secretly activated his Chaos Magic, forcibly establishing a Mind Link that only the two of them could perceive.

Why are you crying?

Lynn's voice echoed deep within Wanda's mind. It was no longer the cold, hard facade she wore in the outside world, but rather a indulgent, favored voice that she only showed when she was with Lynn.

Wanda shuddered and stared wide-eyed at the man who was standing right in front of her.

"You think I'd be interested in that old woman who's thousands of years old?" Lynn chuckled in the Mental Dimension, her tone full of disdain. "Or do you think you hold a place in my heart less than a madwoman radiating Death Energy?"

"But you..." Wanda retorted in her mind, feeling wronged.

"The foundation of Asgard, the resources of Odin's Vault, and the Universal-level Death Force she possesses," Lynn interrupted her, pressing his thumb lightly against Wanda's lips, "These are my bargaining chips in the fight against those monsters in the universe."

Lynn stared into Wanda's eyes, his gaze so deep it seemed to draw her soul in.

"She's just a knife."

"A knife used to clear obstacles for us and block the eyes of the Deity."

"And you..." Lynn paused deliberately, emphasizing his words in the Mind Link, each one like a branding iron etched into Wanda's heart, "You are the bottom line I risked my life for in the ruins of Sokovia."

"A knife can be replaced when it gets old, and thrown away when it breaks."

"But no one can cross the bottom line."

The ruins of Sokovia. The bottom line fought with lives.

These two words were Wanda's most fatal weakness in her life, and the root of all her morbid possessiveness.

Lynn's half-truth, half-lie, coupled with his unreserved "honesty" in the Mental Dimension, completely shattered Wanda's last line of Defense Line.

So that's how it is.

It turns out that Lynn did all this to accumulate the power to protect her. It turns out that the seemingly high and mighty Goddess of Death was nothing more than a tool that Lynn could discard at any time.

She was the only one I truly favored.

The Scarlet in Wanda's eyes faded rapidly like a receding tide, returning to their original clear chestnut color. The surrounding raging Chaos Particles vanished without a trace, and even the smell of Ozone in the air became much fainter.

"Really?" Wanda sniffed, clutching Lynn's shirt tightly with both hands, like a little girl afraid of being abandoned.

"When have I ever lied to you?" Lynn's lips curved into a gentle smile as he pulled her into his arms, resting his chin on the top of her head.

Wanda leaned obediently against Lynn's firm chest, listening to his steady heartbeat, and finally couldn't help but smile. She turned her head slightly, over Lynn's shoulder, and gave Hela, who was not far away, an extremely contemptuous and victorious look.

It's just a broken knife that can be discarded at any time. Does it even deserve to compete with her?

A dozen meters away.

Hela frowned deeply as she looked at the two people embracing tightly.

She couldn't hear the conversation in the Mind Link. From her perspective, it was just that Lynn walked over, said a couple of words, and then used an even more domineering Chaos Energy to forcibly suppress the crazy wild girl.

"You're keeping even this piece of trash who could spiral out of control at any moment?" Hela scoffed, a hint of disdain flashing in her eyes. "One day, I'll snap her neck with my own hands."

However, Hela didn't react. The way Lynn had put his arm around her waist just now convinced her that she had already taken absolute control of this man's heart.

At the edge of the ruins.

Susan clutched her broken ribs, staring at this unbelievable scene, feeling a chill run down her spine.

Just moments ago, these two Skyfather-level monsters were fighting with earth-shattering ferocity, seemingly wanting to devour each other alive. Yet, after just a few words and actions from Lynn, they had both turned into domestic cats, sheathing their claws?

What terrifying methods did this man use to walk a tightrope in this seemingly inescapable Shura Field, and to completely outmaneuver these two lunatics?

Susan swallowed hard, glanced down at her bruises, and suddenly felt a deep sense of powerlessness. Compared to Lynn's manipulative skills, her pride and joy in her intelligence seemed like a joke.

The wind in the desert has completely subsided.

Lynn released Wanda and patted her back reassuringly. He turned around, the tenderness on his face vanishing instantly, replaced by the cold, domineering expression of a tyrant.

His deep gaze swept over Hela, Wanda, and Susan, finally landing on Gwen Stacy, whose heart was protected by Death Energy in the distance.

Four women, four completely different kinds of morbid possessiveness, are now all firmly held in his hands by an invisible thread.

"Have you made enough of a scene?" Lynn's voice wasn't loud, but it clearly reached everyone's ears, carrying an undeniable authority.

No one spoke. Even the most defiant Hela remained silent for the first time ever.

"Now that everyone's here, let's get down to business."

Lynn walked to the edge of the huge Meteorite Crater created by Mjolnir and kicked a charred piece of armored vehicle wreckage into the bottom of the crater.

He turned his head, looked at the devastated New Mexico, and a crazed smile curled at the corner of his mouth.

"That old bastard Odin really thinks he can treat Earth like his junkyard, throwing whatever he wants to throw away?"

Lynn raised his hand, pointed at Hela standing in the center of the ruins, and made a decision that would shake the entire Marvel Universe.

"I want to keep her on Earth."

"From this day forward, Earth shall be a forbidden zone for Asgard and all the Deity of the universe."

"Anyone who dares to put their hand in here..." Lynn clenched his fist tightly, his knuckles cracking, "I'll chop their claws off by the roots."

A mad ambition, accompanied by these words, exploded across this desolate landscape.

Hela's eyes instantly shone with a blinding light, and Wanda's fingertips once again pulsated with excited red light. A storm powerful enough to overturn the entire power structure had officially Veil.
