"Boss, I'm good now."

"All recovered? Then let's go. Help me heal someone."

"Understood!" Venom replied respectfully.

After recovering inside Lu Wen for a while, Venom had not only fully recovered but also strengthened himself with Lu Wen's genes.

He still did not dare get too close to Lu Wen's chest, though. He needed just a little more time to adapt to that area! But after absorbing Lu Wen's genes, he was making rapid progress there too.

He believed he would soon overcome this weakness completely!

Just imagine-with all those Symbiotes on Klyntar, he alone would no longer have that weakness to fire. Who would dare mock him as the most useless Symbiote then!

While Venom fantasized about how he would show off if he ran into the fellow Symbiotes who had mocked him, Lu Wen had already arrived at the hospital.

Hiro was wiping Tadashi's face in the hospital room. He came to Tadashi's room every afternoon without fail.

"Lu Wen, you're here."

"Yeah, I came to save your Aunt Cass some money," Lu Wen muttered, sitting down beside the bed.

"What?"

"Nothing. But you need to go to your San Fransokyo Institute of Technology and bring back some of your brother's things."

"What things? Can't it wait until Tadashi recovers?" Hiro asked in confusion.

"Quit asking questions. If you don't want your Aunt Cass going bankrupt paying medical bills, do as I say."

Hiro reluctantly headed to the San Fransokyo Institute of Technology as Lu Wen had instructed.

After sending Hiro away, Lu Wen raised his hand and flicked it toward the camera in the room! A small blob of Venom landed on the lens.

The little blob of Venom immediately spread out upon contact, covering the lens and blocking the camera.

"Sorry, your hospital is about to lose a hefty chunk of medical revenue."

Lu Wen raised his hand above Tadashi's chest. The recovered Venom emerged from his palm, black slime falling like oil and sinking into Tadashi's body.

With his enhanced hearing, Lu Wen could hear a series of cracks coming from inside Tadashi's body. It was the sound of broken bones being rejoined.

In less than a minute, Venom had fully restored Tadashi's body, then separated into a large mass and sprang back into Lu Wen's body.

Things got rather chaotic after that.

The doctor they called over kept exclaiming that it was impossible! The camera had suddenly gone black and captured nothing. Now, of the hospital's treatment plan, only the brain tissue recovery fluid was still needed.

Although that was a little expensive, it was far better than paying for the entire treatment plan.

There was no need for hospitalization now, either. They only needed to take him home with an indwelling needle and administer the recovery fluid on schedule.

When Hiro returned home with the things Lu Wen had told him to fetch, he was stunned to see his brother completely unharmed, apart from still being unconscious!

"Oh my God, what happened here?" Hiro stared in disbelief at his uninjured brother, who looked as though he were merely asleep.

"Oh, wow~ I don't know either! When Lu Wen called me this afternoon, I was just as shocked as you! Then he really gave me back a Tadashi without a single visible injury. I was absolutely stunned!"

As Cass spoke, she leaned forward slightly, her green eyes sparkling. She could not keep the corners of her mouth down, her whole being brimming with the delight of a miracle falling into her lap.

Hiro looked toward Lu Wen at her words. Leaning against the doorframe, Lu Wen raised his eyebrows at him.

"Oh, Lu Wen, thank you so much. I don't know how you did it, but that doesn't matter! How about I treat you to a big meal as a small thank-you? Tell me what you'd like."

Cass looked at Lu Wen eagerly, as though she might rush over and hug him at any moment.

Leaning against the doorframe, Lu Wen watched Cass, who was so happy she seemed a little at a loss. His lips moved. "Sure. Then I'd like something you make."

"I can make anything you want! Just name it!" Cass declared grandly, patting her chest.

"Anything, as long as you make it."

Cass froze for a second, then waved a hand with a smile. "You really know how to say something nice." She turned and went to work in the kitchen without giving it any further thought.

Hiro stood nearby, looking from his brother to Lu Wen, then to Cass. He opened his mouth several times but ultimately asked nothing.

They ate dinner in the Lucky Cat Café. Cass shut the doors, hung up a "Closed" sign, and pulled out all the stops to prepare enough dishes to cover the entire dining table.

Hiro ate distractedly, poking around his bowl with his chopsticks for ages, his eyes drifting toward Lu Wen's face now and then.

Lu Wen, on the other hand, enjoyed his food. Cass was a pretty good cook.

Hiro kept holding back until Cass got up to fetch dessert from the kitchen. Then he finally could not contain himself anymore.

"Lu Wen... how exactly did you do it? My brother's injuries... I saw the bandages and tubes on him myself. The doctor said he'd need at least two or three months in the hospital, and several more surgeries. But you..."

He lowered his voice, speaking in a quick, urgent rush.

Lu Wen picked up a piece of grilled fish with his chopsticks and put it in his mouth. He took his time chewing, then glanced at Hiro. "Guess."

"...How am I supposed to guess that!"

"Then keep guessing for now. I'll tell you when the time comes."

Hiro opened his mouth, wanting to press further, but Cass had already returned with two bowls of pudding, bringing the conversation to a halt. Hiro could only pick up his spoon and eat his pudding while continuing to stare at Lu Wen with a look that said, "I can still ask more questions."

Lu Wen kept eating as though he had not noticed.

After dinner, Lu Wen took Hiro upstairs. With the kid following on his heels and chattering nonstop, Lu Wen reached out and pinched his little mouth shut, manually muting him.

"Quit talking and turn this on first."

"What... ow~" Hiro cried out, rubbing his reddened forehead.

After flicking Hiro on the forehead, Lu Wen looked at the... chubby white figure rapidly inflating and rising from the red case before him.

"Hello, I'm Baymax, your personal healthcare companion." Accompanied by soft squeaking footsteps, Baymax walked over.

"Baymax! I didn't think you still worked," Hiro said in surprise.

"I heard your cry. What happened?" Baymax asked according to his programming.

"Uh... I..."

"Nothing happened. Don't worry about it. This patient is the one you need to concern yourself with."

Lu Wen suddenly cut Hiro off, scooped up the soft Baymax, and headed toward Tadashi's room next door.

"Wow~ You really do feel like a marshmallow!"

Holding Baymax, Lu Wen gave him a squeeze. He felt even springier than he had looked on-screen.

(●-●): "Please put me down," Baymax requested politely.

"Enough talk, Baymax. Your most important task now is to take good care of your creator."

Lu Wen set Baymax down beside Tadashi's bed. With a medical robot here, what need was there for hospitalization! Besides, a robot Tadashi had built himself had to be more professional at caring for a patient than a little kid like Hiro.

"Scanning patient status..."

A few seconds later, Baymax's sensors lit up. "The patient's vital signs are stable. Monitoring brain waves every four hours is recommended. Would you like to set a scheduled reminder?"

"Sure, set it," Hiro said.

Baymax quietly processed his internal programming, then said mechanically, "Reminder set. I will continue monitoring the patient's condition."

"All done! Now Tadashi will have professional care until he recovers."

"Uh~ I can take good care of my brother too, actually," Hiro said quietly in his own defense.

Lu Wen did not reply. He merely looked through the open doorway at Hiro's room, which the boy had turned into something resembling a dog kennel, and silently sighed.

Hiro followed Lu Wen's gaze and scratched his head sheepishly.
