| System Identity | Host No. 0527 4 |
| Status | Alive; staying in Dragon Bone Village while negotiating with Bai Yuekui 50 |
| First Appearance | Chapter 1, “A cliché transmigration debut!” 1 |
Power Progression
Lu Wen advances through biological enhancement, purchased ability traits, and symbiosis rather than named cultivation realms. The Trait Shop ranks abilities as gray, white, green, blue, purple, gold, and red 4.
| Stage / Realm / Level | Chapter | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| V1-enhanced physique | 1 2 18 | Injects the system-provided serum, gaining Soldier Boy-level physical attributes and a nuclear chest cannon. Later confirms that V1 did not make his base attributes stronger than Soldier Boy’s. |
| Permanent white-grade Super Speed | 5 | Purchases Black Panther’s Super Speed for 10,000 points and installs it in a trait slot, correcting his poor movement speed. |
| Venom symbiosis | 16 29 31 36 | Bonds with a captured Venom fragment. As Venom recovers, the bond provides armor, webbing, lesser Spider-Man abilities, and an approximately threefold increase in overall capabilities. |
| Temporary Winter Soldier/Military Combat trait | 20 | Activates the combat trait for sixty seconds while fighting Homelander, compensating for his lack of trained fighting technique. |
| Temporary Compound V amplification | 24 25 | Injects additional Compound V to raise the temporary ceiling of his existing powers. Becomes strong enough to fight Homelander and Soldier Boy simultaneously; the injection does not grant new powers. |
| Copied Soldier Boy chest-blast power | 25 | Copies Soldier Boy’s chest-blast ability during the Vought Tower battle and overpowers Soldier Boy’s charged attack. The provided account does not specify the copied ability’s duration. |
| Combined Lu Wen–Venom Nuclear Chest Cannon | 48 | Venom successfully channels Lu Wen’s nuclear energy through the symbiote suit. Their charged blast exceeds the one previously used against Homelander and destroys the Calyx Beast’s Spirit Breath Seed. |
Background / History
Before transmigrating, Lu Wen was an ordinary salaried worker with few remaining personal ties. He was the only person left in his immediate family, no longer contacted his remaining relatives, and had largely abandoned unnecessary socializing. His transmigration interrupted a vacation he had waited four months to take 6.
He arrives bodily in a damaged restroom during the Battle of New York, with Deadpool beside him and the Chitauri invasion already underway. His memories of films, television, and comic recaps allow him to recognize characters and anticipate dangers, including Purple Man’s speech-based control and the risks of a Warhammer-related mission 1 6 9.
After the invasion, Tony discovers that Lu Wen has no matching identity records, driver’s license, Social Security number, or credit history. Lu Wen openly claims to have crossed over from another world, but Tony does not believe him. With Tony’s help, he establishes a home in Manhattan and begins preparing supplies for dimensional assignments 7 8.
Appearance
- Normal appearance: A young Asian man. Bai Yuekui initially considers him pale and soft-looking despite his considerable strength 3 44.
- Nuclear charge: Orange-red light appears in his chest, with nuclear-energy patterns spreading toward his limbs 2.
- Venom suit: Pitch-black and muscular, with less exaggerated proportions than the Lethal Protector suit it resembles. It increases his height to approximately two meters and uses a full-face mask rather than Venom’s enormous mouth 32.
- Combat clothing: His body routinely survives attacks that destroy his ordinary clothes. He also wears the Green Goblin Battle Suit obtained from Harry 4 18 50.
Personality
Lu Wen is blunt, foul-mouthed, and persistently sarcastic. He trades insults with allies and enemies alike, answers battlefield remarks even while fighting, and enjoys showing off when his strength surprises others. He refuses to present himself as a conventional champion of justice and negotiates payment before agreeing to help Tony fight the invasion 3 48.
His self-interest does not prevent protective or compassionate behavior. He stops Soldier Boy from blasting pedestrians, takes Hughie’s distress seriously, cares for Hiro under Tadashi’s commission, and repeatedly intervenes when Tony neglects his health 15 17 27 35 43.
Against people he considers irredeemable, he is exceptionally ruthless. He deliberately disables Purple Man’s ability to speak before killing him and feels no guilt afterward. He also rejects the idea that Homelander’s tragic circumstances make redeeming him Lu Wen’s responsibility 9 25.
Despite his bravado, he recognizes dangerous limits. He avoids the Warhammer assignment and abandons an untested plan to have Venom possess the Calyx Beast rather than risk an unknown biological catastrophe 6 48.
Abilities & Skills
Superhuman Physique
V1 gives Lu Wen immense strength, durability, enhanced senses, and rapid recovery 1 3 22.
- Tears apart Chitauri soldiers and kills a Leviathan by driving its own armor into its brain 3.
- Withstands Chitauri energy weapons with minor red marks and handgun fire without injury 2 8.
- Resists Homelander’s Heat Vision, although its heat causes pain 20.
- Recovers from his first Homelander battle within a day 22.
- Hiro’s early testing estimates his strength at several dozen tons; Lu Wen regards that measurement as provisional. With Venom, he later delivers a blow exceeding one hundred tons of force 36 48.
- His hardened skin resists ordinary needles, forcing him to bite open his wrist to inject Compound V 24.
Nuclear Chest Cannon
Lu Wen concentrates internal nuclear energy into an orange-red blast fired from his chest 2.
- Destroys Chitauri Leviathans and repels Homelander’s high-speed diving attack 2 21.
- Can increase the blast’s output and duration through a stronger charge 21.
- Suffers temporary weakness after firing; greater output produces greater exhaustion 3 21.
- Uses the radiation from a partial charge to weaken a captured Venom fragment 11.
- His original cannon has somewhat greater attack power than Soldier Boy’s but lacks its unspecified “special properties” 21.
Venom Symbiosis
The captured Venom fragment feeds on Lu Wen’s cellular life energy, repairs itself, and strengthens through his genetic template 16 29.
- Armor and reinforcement: Forms a full-body suit and substantially increases his physical capabilities 32 36.
- Spider-Man-like movement: Enables web-swinging and wall-clinging without purchasing corresponding traits 31 45.
- Tendrils and restraint: Holds back a boulder, anchors Lu Wen against powerful opponents, and binds targets 32 45 48.
- Paralytic webbing: Can carry a nerve-paralyzing toxin. Its normal biomass cost is less restrictive because Lu Wen supplies abundant energy 45.
- Healing others: Repairs Tadashi’s injuries and later heals Happy while converting some of Happy’s fat into energy 29 33 41.
- Scouting: Splits off a small fragment to follow Hiro alongside a tracker 30.
- Energy adaptation: Initially avoids Lu Wen’s nuclear chest region, but eventually withstands and helps release its energy 29 48.
- Concealment: Prevents the Calyx Beast from detecting Lu Wen through emotional fluctuations, though the creature’s biological eyes can still roughly perceive him 48.
Purchased Traits and Combat Technique
The system converts abilities from visited worlds into purchasable traits, which Lu Wen equips through six available slots 4.
- Permanently equips Black Panther’s Super Speed 5.
- Purchases short-duration abilities when needed, including Winter Soldier/Military Combat 20.
- Initially lacks formal fighting training, allowing Soldier Boy to gain an advantage despite their comparable physical attributes 17 18.
- Cannot fly unaided during the documented battles with Homelander; he later uses a glider for aerial transport 19 25 41.
Dimensional Travel and System Space
Lu Wen uses the Dimensional Ruins Market Listing System to accept commissions, trade goods, and travel between worlds 6 9 12.
- Accepted orders send him to the time at which they were posted 6.
- His travel leaves no trace in the satellite footage Tony examines 13.
- System Space holds supplies, weapons, technology, and entire production lines 8 32.
- Independently conscious beings cannot normally enter storage. He stores weakened or unconscious captives after enclosing or sealing them 11 47.
- Earns points from bounties and qualifying kills, and resells purchased short-duration traits through the dimensional market 2 31 41.
Growth Limitation
Lu Wen senses that V1 has fixed his genetic template and imposed a ceiling on further biological growth 46.
- Venom enhances him through symbiosis without removing that underlying ceiling 46.
- Additional Compound V temporarily amplifies existing powers rather than producing new ones 24.
- He postpones using perfected Extremis because he fears it may fail to provide the desired enhancement 43 46.
- He theorizes that Miracle K combined with Angel Serum could replace his biological foundation with one possessing a higher ceiling. This remains an untested proposal in the supplied chapters 46 50.
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Green Goblin equipment — Receives a glider, battle suit, serum, Pumpkin Bombs, and Pumpkin Shuriken from Harry in exchange for assistance with Harry’s disfigurement 12.

- Venom — Symbiotic partner and subordinate who calls him “boss.” Their relationship begins with coercion but develops into effective cooperation in healing, scouting, and combat 16 29 30 48.
- Hughie Campbell — Client and confidant. Hughie trusts the system-selected helper, hires him to protect Starlight, and receives direct advice about confronting his feelings 15.
- Marvin — Temporary host whom Lu Wen considers a decent man. Lu Wen appreciates his clean home and later criticizes the team’s infighting 22 25.
- Harry Osborn — Trading partner and beneficiary of Lu Wen’s intervention. Harry provides Goblin technology after Lu Wen saves him and promises help with his face 12.

- Soldier Boy and Homelander — Recurring enemies. Lu Wen fights both repeatedly and promises to return with flight before killing them 17 20 24 25.
- Bai Yuekui — Client and prospective trading partner. She initially distrusts him but accepts his assistance and brings him to Dragon Bone Village 44 45 48 50.
Story Role / Major Arcs
Battle of New York
Lu Wen’s first battle establishes both his power and his transactional approach to heroics. He accepts Deadpool’s 10,000-point Loki-slapping bounty and Tony’s offer of one million dollars upfront, then fights alongside the Avengers. Tony later credits him with destroying five Leviathans and catching him after his fall from the portal 2 3 7.
Spider-Man Assignment
Lu Wen rescues Mary Jane, overpowers Eddie’s Venom, and captures a symbiote fragment before helping Peter defeat the remaining threat. He then negotiates for Harry’s Goblin equipment and returns to Marvel Universe 628, where the haul becomes the foundation of his research partnership with Tony 11 12 13.
The Boys and the Vought Raid
Initially tasked with protecting Starlight, Lu Wen pursues Compound V for himself. After difficult encounters with Soldier Boy and Homelander, he forces The Deep to guide him into Vought Tower, kills him, clears the warehouse defenses, and steals the stockpile. A further injection lets him overpower both leading Supes before he departs during an explosive clash with Homelander 15 17 20 21 23 24 25.
Hamada Brothers and Silent Sparrow
While fulfilling Tadashi’s request to care for Hiro, Lu Wen helps restore Tadashi’s health and joins the confrontation with Callaghan. He claims the microbot production line, rescues Hiro’s friends during the portal disaster, and helps Hiro and Baymax escape after rescuing Abigail. His contract with Krei covers Tadashi’s expenses, funds the brothers’ research, and transfers Silent Sparrow materials 27 29 32 33.
Extremis Conflict and Research
Back in Universe 628, Lu Wen protects Pepper and Maya from Killian’s forces, heals Happy, and joins Tony and Rhodey at the oil terminal. He handles the Extremis soldiers while they pursue Killian. Over the following four months, the research partnership produces fifteen stable Extremis doses, but Lu Wen delays testing them while investigating his growth ceiling 40 41 42 43 46.
Nirvana and Dragon Bone Village
Lu Wen accepts Bai Yuekui’s 5,000-point commission to retrieve Miracle K materials and data. He captures scavengers for relocation, gathers research equipment, and destroys the Calyx Beast for another 3,000 points while honoring his promise not to interfere with Mark’s destined transformation. After reaching Dragon Bone Village, he completes the materials exchange and opens negotiations for a private deal 44 45 47 48 50.
