The mysterious man's voice rang out abruptly, like lightning streaking across the night sky, instantly shattering the surrounding silence.
Almost simultaneously, Seiichi also spoke. "Whatever the case, he absolutely cannot be Madara Uchiha!"
Their words overlapped, making everyone present turn toward them.
Everyone's gazes converged on the two who had suddenly spoken, their eyes filled with confusion and curiosity.
Obito privately felt a little flustered, but outwardly, he remained perfectly composed.
"Hmm? Young Uchiha, you're so certain I can't be Madara Uchiha. You're an interesting little brat. Hahaha..."
Seiichi did not grow angry at Obito's rebuttal. Instead, he spoke in an intrigued tone.
There was a faint hint of amusement in his voice, as though he had taken a keen interest in Obito.
Then Seiichi continued unhurriedly, "How could someone as proud as Madara Uchiha skulk around hiding his identity like you?"
He always acted openly and would never do anything so underhanded."
Hearing this, Obito felt a surge of inexplicable anger.
But he suppressed his fury, trying hard to keep the other man from noticing his emotions.
He knew that if his identity were exposed now, the consequences would be unthinkable.
Seiichi seemed to see through Obito's thoughts. He smiled faintly, walked aside, and sat down.
Then he waved a hand, signaling for everyone else in the courtyard to sit down as well.
Once everyone in the courtyard was seated, Seiichi sat there quietly. His gaze first fell on Obito, lingering briefly before shifting to the sole remaining empty chair beside him.
He neither spoke nor made any other movement, simply watching in silence, as though waiting for something.
Obito was at a loss.
